The Miamisburg Triathlon is a great way to close out your summer. The bike and run are both flat, fast courses. It's a 2.5 mile canoe, followed by a 5k run and concludes with a 10 mile bike. Participants can race with a partner or as a solo, either way you'll have something to brag about when you finish. Race Start Time and Location: On August 23, we are back the second time at the world’s most iconic city parks, Central Park, for our 41st annual New York City Duathlon. The park is always gorgeous this time of year with trees and flowers in full summer bloom! Here is what you can expect on race day. At 7:00 am the race will start by the Central Park Boat House parking lot which will also serve as your Transition area. Both Run #1 and #2 are 2.2 miles each, an out/back format.  You’ll run along the east side and making a turn around point by the 96th street Margret L Kempner Playground (right after the crosswalk). No significant elevation gain other than at the beginning you have to run up Cat Hill.   The bike route consists of riding 2 loops around the entire Central Park drive. You are to ride the entire Central Park Drive, all 6 miles, and including the Harlem Hill. Total of 12 miles. The total elevation gain is about 300 ft per loop. The North East Triathlon is an amazing race in a beautiful location. Just minutes from I-95, a Chesapeake Bay time trial swim and well paved country roads along Elk Neck State Forest make this a great race. The course is low traffic, hilly and technical in places, but has plenty of straightaways and beautiful views. The run course is a lightly rolling, out and back course on the shoulder heading south of town. The 3rd annual Lake Community Hope 5k run/walk and fun run will be on 8/23/26. This event will occur in the Lake Community with the partnership of the Lake Community YMCA, to raise money for the Lake Community Hope Scholarship Fund in Memory of Melissa, Renee, Amber and Evan. The Sandman Triathlon is one of Santa Cruz County’s oldest triathlons, having held its inaugural race in 1985, in the infancy of the sport. The Sandman is a fundraiser for: the local State Parks,Lifeguard operations,the Junior Lifeguard program.Proceeds help fund scholarships for underprivileged kids so they can receive high-quality water safety education. Athletes will swim 400 yards around buoys, back to the boat ramp, exit the water and proceed to the Transition Area. Bike: Starting at the Transition Area, athletes will make their way north towards the Millerton park entrance, to the turnaround at the top Millerton Lake SRA sign. The bike is out and back with rolling hills. Returning to the transition area. Run: Run is all asphalt road. Starting at the Transition Area, athletes head north from the parking lot along the street for approximately 1.1 miles towards the Millerton park entrance to the turn around, (at the crosswalk), and back to the finish line.

Rumble at the Ranch is a 6 hour mountain bike relay for teams of two or three riders as well as solo racers.  The race takes place on the amazing Highlands Ranch Backcountry singletrack and double-track trail system.  Teams will see how many laps of the 7.6 mile loop they can complete in 6 hours.

USATF New England XC Grand Prix Race #1 and USATF New England All Terrain Series - XC Race Come one, come all for the fourth running of the Old Goat Track Club XC Classic (OGTC XC Classic) 5k XC race around fields at Waters Farm in Sutton, MA. First Coast Lets get our Kids to compete in a Swim Run Race!    This part of the Florida Race Day  Kids Triathlon/ Duathlon Series - We limit these races to kids ages 5-14 only and to only 100 athletes and do sell out so we advise if you are interested to register early.    Kids Swim Run Race participants will swim laps in the pool and off to their feet for the running portion until they finish under the Arch to complete their achievement.   The events will be chip timed with a finisher time.   Distances are based on the age of the child.  The events will go off with each participant getting a total net time. Run 6.5 miles of challenging trails in the Westmoreland Sanctuary The race starts and finishes at the Fox Lane H.S. Campus (at the back of the campus behind the Middle School gym). See if you have the intestinal fortitude to conquer RAPTOR RIDGE! Westmoreland Sanctuary is a not-for-profit, independent nature center and wildlife preserve located in Westchester County, New York. The land spans three towns: Bedford, Mount Kisco, and Armonk. We also need to thank the Fox Lane Sports Booster Club for all their help in allowing us to use the beautiful campus for our race headquarters and for the ever important parking! We will also be collecting food for the Mt. Kisco Food Pantry.  If you would like to personally donate food, please bring non-perishable items that are within the expiration date.

About the triathlon Sign up for Maine's most beautiful triathlon at Pemaquid Beach in Bristol on August 23 (9:00 am start). Compete as an individual or as a team of up to three people. Much of the race route hugs the coastline of the iconic Pemaquid peninsula. This is a beautiful and fun community event - make it as competitive or as laid back as you like! The Pemaquid Beach Triathlon is a fundraiser for Bristol Parks and Recreation. Proceeds will be used to build a playground at Pemaquid Beach Park. To date, we've raised $48,797 for the playground fund. Unite to Fight! Childhood Hunger 5K Run/Walk   Join Filling in the Blanks on August 23, 2026, at the Eighth Annual Unite to Fight 5K. The race will take place at Mill River Park located in Stamford, CT.    In Fairfield County, more than 33,000 children are not sure where their next meal will come from. Most will get breakfast and lunch from school every weekday, but many will go from Friday lunch until Monday at breakfast without a decent meal. Founded in 2013, Filling in the Blanks is an organization that fills in those weekend gaps by providing each child in its program with a bag filled with healthy, easy-to-prepare food for the weekend.  When the obstacle of food insecurity is removed, children experience increased academic achievement in school and greater opportunities for success in their lives. The RVA Sprint Triathlon is Richmond’s only pool sprint triathlon. Hosted by the Rockville Center, this race is set in beautiful Rockville, VA. Participants will enjoy a short pool swim, rolling rural bike, and fun out-and-back run course.  This event includes a classic sprint triathlon, kid’s splash & dash (swim-run), and new this year we will also have a shorter beginner-only race for first-time triathletes only.  Prefer to not swim or run?  No problem as we have both duathlon (run-bike-run) and aquabike (swim-bike) options.  The RVA Sprint Tri will feature a “seeded” race start with the top 12 seeded women starting approximately 7 minutes ahead of the top 12 seeded men to set up an exciting battle of the sexes to cross the finish line first! We are racing around Menomonee Falls High School and the course features a 1-mile, super flat and super fast loop, making it ideal for consistent pacing and record-setting performances. The Full Marathon is USATF certified, making it a Boston Qualifier. This event is uniquely designed for serious runners. We will have water and an electrolyte drink at the aid table. Participants are welcome to bring their own personalized aid to place on the aid tables, allowing you to grab exactly what you need each time you pass.
