Since 2010, the Rochester Triathlon (aka The ROC) is a late summer classic organized by the Rochester Area Triathletes (aka RATs) and held at Durand-Eastman Beach in Irondequoit, NY on Saturday August 22, 2026.  The ROC features a shallow open-water swim, closed-to-traffic, super-fast, bike course, and a picturesque run along Lake Ontario and Seabreeze shorelines to the roaring crowds lining the pathway. This sweet race is the 3rd in a three-race series, all designed to keep you fit and refreshed this summer. The Summer Dash Series includes the Lemonade Dash, Popsicle Dash, and Watermelon Dash. CORE of McLean, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, is holding our annual 6.6k (4.1-mile) run/walk to benefit the community of McLean, IL. This point-to-point 6.6k/4.1-mile run/walk starts in Funks Grove (shuttle service is provided from McLean to Funks Grove), with participants running or walking on the Mother Road herself to our new park under the old water tower in McLean, which was funded by previous proceeds from this event. This race has become a much-anticipated must-do for many—join us in having a great time raising money for our community!

Come walk or run our 6th Annual 5K Trail Run as you support Heart of Tioga Pregnancy and Parenting Support! Note: This trail is NOT stroller friendly! Dash for Down Syndrome raises funds and awareness for the Eastern Idaho Down Syndrome Family Connect organization.  This is a day of celebration for the local Down syndrome community, their families, and supporters. Join us for the third annual Lake Life 8K race being held during Summerfest at Hamilton Lake! The race will begin at the Fish Creek Trail head and will take runners and walkers through the beautiful trail that runs next to Fish Creek. This is a flat crushed gravel type surface. The course will then lead runners into the Acres Land Trust grounds where they will get some true trail and grassy field running before heading back to run on the other side of the creek.
