Buffalo Run 2026 – Set for Saturday, July 11th, 2026! The Buffalo Run is part of the fun, family-oriented St. Ignatius Good Old Days event and is hosted by St. Luke Community Healthcare as a way to give back to the community and the St. Ignatius Chamber of Commerce! The 1-mile fun run (walk/run), 4-mile run, and 7-mile run all start promptly at 8 a.m. on Main Street in front of Gambles Hardware (112 N. Main Street, St. Ignatius, MT 59865). Explore the scenic back roads of Trempealeau county on this multi-loop tour suited for all levels of bike riders culminating in the festivities of the Trempealeau Catfish Days community festival.  You can choose between a 50/20/8 mile loop marked on an open course.  The Catfish Days 2025 Bike Tour is sponsored by the Trempealeau Lions with the proceeds benefiting the Friends of Trempealeau Lakes.  Friends of Trempealeau Lakes (FOTL) was formed to help restore, preserve, and improve this unique lake system on the upper Mississippi River.

Join us for the second annual SSG Tanner Grone Memorial 5K, a special race dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of SSG Tanner Grone, a beloved local community member who enjoyed bringing people together and having fun. This event, organized by Tanner's sister and one of his best friends, will celebrate his love for community, family, and friendships, while raising funds to support a Gorham High School Senior who shares values close to his heart. The 12th annual Will Run for Cannoli 5k is a family fun run/walk and will be held on July 11, 2026 at Lions Park in Cheyenne. Participants can expect a fun course, age division prizes, raffles, a finisher medal, and homemade cannoli at the end!!! The race will begin at 8:00 a.m. near the pavilion by the Children's Village. Participants will run toward the east around Sloans Lake, through the tunnel under Central Avenue, and counter-clockwise around the golf course. Participants will then go through the tunnel again and continue running westerly/counter clockwise around Sloans Lake, ending at the beach. There, each participant will receive a finisher medal and a delicious, homemade, Sicilian cannolo!! Proceeds from the event will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Wyoming. Support the East Atchison Wolves Cross Country Team by participating in the second run with the wolves 5k run/walk and 1 mile fun run. This event supports both casual joggers/walkers looking to get some exercise and socialize, as well as serious runners looking for a new personal best. The event starts in the parking lot of the Tarkio Activity Center, moves onto the streets of Tarkio down and around Niedermeyer Park, back up to the TAC, around Tarkio High School and finishes back in the TAC parking lot where it started. If you thought the drive was scenic.... The 56th Annual Beartooth Run is back on top as the highest 5k/10k road race in the US (sorry all you Half-ers, Pikes Peak ascent goes higher)! Enjoy a breathtaking drive up the Beartooth Pass before the race course takes your breath away! Each race starts at 10,500 and tops out at 11,00ft. The only thing that will make you forget you're running uphill at high elevation are the views of wild flowers, high mountain plateaus, glaciers, and maybe mountain goat or two! All ages and abilities are welcome. $15 kid registration. Walkers are welcome on the 5k course. While dogs are strollers aren't welcome on the course, we have great spots at the start/finish for spectating!

This event is for youth of all abilities and skill levels. How we started:  In 2018, our friend and former Ironman Nate Wigdahl, had recently become an amputee due to a devastating injury. He desperately wanted to start running again and we knew that we could count on Omaha's running community to help him achieve his dream. He knew that insurance wouldn't cover the cost of a running blade and he knew he had his work cut out for him. So Nate and a few friends decided to host a 5K fundraiser, and called it The Blade 5K. The quickly put-together event was a huge success and with the funds raised we were able to purchase a blade for Nate.  Nate had an even deeper desire to help other amputees to overcome obstacles to living their best healthy lifestyle.  Our momentum: In 2019, The Blade 5K obtained 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, and began holding monthly board meetings. This is RACE #1in the TKC Open Water Summer Swim Series: TRIPLE CROWN! Cedar Island is race #2 and the September Point to Point is race #3. in the series. Triple Crown Swimmers who register for all three swims will get a TC Award. All three swim times are combined for everyone and the top 5 male and female overall with the low net score will get an additional overall prize. This is a perfect training swim for participants who are registered for Cedar Island 5K Swim on August 25th!  It is a point to point 1.2 mile bay training swim with the current on the back half of the Cedar Island 5K Swim course. This is an event to familiarize you with the end of the course surroundings and key site locations on it, the current, and open water swimming in a group. The Cedar Island 5K Swim can be a little overwhelming with 300 swimmers. This race will be held at the Logan Aquatic Center. This is one of the longest run triathlons in the state of Utah. Swim is in a pool, bike on a paved country road, run on a paved road with a canopy of trees and along the Logan River. Olympic is Swim, Swim, Bike, Bike, and Run, Run.
