LVRR July Summer Series 5K

Remaining Race Dates: August 5 & September 2 This is a free 5k race series which includes 5 races held on the first Wednesday of each month from May through September. You do not need to be an LVRR club member to participate in this series. Sign up online and come out to Lehigh Parkway for this relaxed, no-frills race.   The course is accurately measured, mostly flat, cinder trail in the Parkway.  Due to scheduled repairs to Bogarts Bridge, the course will be modified in 2025  Course Map   Race Day Check-In: Begins at 5:30 PM - All runners must check in. Age: Racers must be 10 years of age. Time Limit: 60 minutes (19:35 minute/mile) Start Time: Begins at 6:30 PM with the exception of September which begins at 6:00 PM We will no longer host the Potluck Dinner – The club will provide hotdogs, water and chips.  Please do not bring food to share.

Lake Terramuggus Sprint Triathlon #2

The Lake T Sprint Series has been the first race for many Iron Distance Triathletes. In its 25th year, this race continues to be the stepping stone for so many triathletes to get to the next level. Racks are first come, first serve, waves are male/female, and there is a relay division as well.  The 600 yard lake swim is followed by a 2 loop bike course with rolling hills. The 5K run is a beautiful course around the lake which has a few small inclines and downhill the last mile. Kathy's Run for Cancer

RACE LOCATION: Richland Gull Lake High School, 7753 N 34th St, Richland, MI  49083The 2025 Race Location (Start/Finish) will be at the High School.  This is the same location as last year. About Kathy's Run for Cancer: Kathy was diagnosed over the Memorial Day Weekend in 2023 with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.  While there is no cure for this disease it is very treatable. Kathy has undergone multiple radiation and chemotherapy treatments.  After twelve weeks she’s had a great response to the treatment and is now only getting immunotherapy infusions every three weeks. Kathy is a fighter, and her great attitude has been instrumental to her positive results. By supporting our local cancer centers and education Kathy feels this turns a difficult situation into something very positive.  The opportunity to revamp this race came at the right time as the committee for the Rose Run decided to step away.  Kathy has gotten incredible care at the Bronson Cancer Center along with the West M

Pop off on this 4th of July tradition! **SHIRT ORDER DEADLINE: 06/24/2025** The race will start in the pool parking lot and follow a paved loop through downtown Kellogg, climbing up into Wardner, along the trail of the Cd'As, and finishing at the Oddfellows picnic area east of the pool near the ball field. The route will be marked, either with chalk--look down!--or other signage. You can access the full route through Map My Run. There will be no street closures. The sidewalks in Kellogg are not in the best shape, so running in the street will be safer at times. The proper runners' etiquette is to run against the flow of traffic whenever possible.
