Sea To Sound is a 70 mile, three-day, multi-modal group ride spanning the entire length of the Olympic Discovery Trail. It is also a fundraising opportunity for Ian's Ride, a 501c3 non profit in the State Of Washington.  The Olympic Peninsula is the farthest northwest expanse of land one can explore along the US coast. In fact, the Rails to Trail Conservancy recently decided to add the ODT to the Great American Rail-Trail – making a route from Washington, DC to the Pacific Ocean here in Washington State. Over 3700 miles! For our event, we will offer aid stations and support along the entire route.  Wheelchair users are strongly encouraged!  We will support you. Just tell us what you will need. To accommodate everyone, we are offering a virtual option. This means, you can join along with us, at your own pace, from your own neighborhood. The Lake T Sprint Series has been the first race for many Iron Distance Triathletes. In its 25th year, this race continues to be the stepping stone for so many triathletes to get to the next level. Racks are first come, first serve, waves are male/female, and there is a relay division as well.  The 600 yard lake swim is followed by a 2 loop bike course with rolling hills. The 5K run is a beautiful course around the lake which has a few small inclines and downhill the last mile. Race date July 3rd, 2026 at 7:00pm This race is held on Friday evening of the July 4th weekend each year and is a fundraiser for the Fireworks Festival. Gnadenhutten has one of the finest fireworks displays for such a small community. Mostly flat with one “minor” hill course through historical Gnadenhutten.  Strollers and pets on a leash welcomed! The festival will be held downtown Gnadenhutten and the race will start and end at the Masonic Temple Lodge located at 112 S. Walnut St.

About Kathy's Run for Cancer: Kathy was diagnosed over the Memorial Day Weekend in 2023 with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.  While there is no cure for this disease it is very treatable. Kathy has undergone multiple radiation and chemotherapy treatments.  After twelve weeks she’s had a great response to the treatment and is now only getting immunotherapy infusions every three weeks. Kathy is a fighter, and her great attitude has been instrumental to her positive results. By supporting our local cancer centers and education Kathy feels this turns a difficult situation into something very positive.  The opportunity to revamp this race came at the right time as the committee for the Rose Run decided to step away.  Kathy has gotten incredible care at the Bronson Cancer Center along with the West M

One mile route down historic Chester Main Street! The Almanor Recreation and Park District’s 45th annual Chester 4th of July Fun Run will take place at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The one mile run/walk will start on the Collins Pine lawn located at 500 Main Street and proceed down Chester’s historic Main Street to the finish at the Bidwell House located at 1 Main Street. Welcome to the 33rd Easley FireCracker Frolic 5k presented once again by the Easley Lions Club!   The race is run on the friendly streets of Easley SC and starts in downtown at Old Market Square.
