The Human Race is a community fundraising event for non-profit organizations in the Sioux Empire Area.  The Human Race will feature a 5K run and a 1 mile fun walk.   Each runner or walker will choose one of the nonprofits to benefit by receiving 75% of the registration fee.   No registration fees will be refunded.

Experience a challenging and scenic trail run around Timothy Lake, featuring single-track forest trails, rustic bridge crossings, and stunning views of Mt. Hood in the heart of Oregon’s Cascades.

The Wissahickon Trail Classic was established in 2006 to highlight Wissahickon Valley Park as one of the best trail running destinations on the East Coast. Back for its 17th year, the Wissahickon Trail Classic will engage hundreds of trail runners from the region, providing a unique race experience in Philadelphia’s premier park. Benefiting Friends of the Wissahickon, funds raised through the Trail Classic will go directly back into the stewardship of the Wissahickon trail system and watershed. Acting as the non-profit arm of K9 Freedom Professional Dog Training, they specialize in rehabilitating dogs, including those with high energy or behavioral issues, for active lifestyles.

Come out and join us for some family fun! This is a timed 5K race through Stroudsburg as we honor Trooper Joshua Miller, PSP #8819. This is a fast and PR friendly course. There are several age categories. If you are not up for a run, then you can just walk the course too.  The 5K will take place on June 6, 2026, this year which is the day before Trooper Miller sacrificed his life to save a little boy that has now grown up into a terrific young man.  So please consider participating in this event and showing the Miller and PSP family some much appreciated support!  There is a separate category for children under 12 to register for free.  BATTLE OF THE BADGES AND THE CADENCE RUN ARE BACK! The Watsontown JesVic 5K was started in 2007 by Shannon (Hoffman) Pyles and Suzie (Wade) Watts to honor two community women, Jessica Wade and Vicki Hitesman, who both passed away from cancer. Jessica was a blue-eyed, athletic 20-year-old, a graduate of Warrior Run High School, who pursued a college degree. Among her many goals was to run a marathon someday. The other—a former nurse who touched the lives of the patients and their families from her early days at Williamsport Hospital and Kramm’s Nursing Home. She was a survivor of Hodgkin’s disease. Her youngest son played baseball, her oldest ran cross country at Warrior Run. Vicki and her husband (who is also a runner) supported the cross-country team, and all their sons’ endeavors.Both had touched the lives of those in their community and in their workplace. This race will be a challenging 5K run/walk in the Tamaqua Odd Fellows Cemetery in Tamaqua, PA. This will be an all thrills no frills run on the historic and scenic cemetery circa 1861 built on the side of a mountain. This cemetery is one of only 2 Victorian Garden cemeteries in Schuylkill County. The theme this year will be Red, White and Blue in honor of 250 years of America! Feel free to wear your best patriotic outfit to celebrate. There will be prizes for the top three runners and the best patriotic outfit. CASA is hosting its 5th annual Color Run event on June 6, 2026! Bring your family and friends to this fun, family-friendly event at Sycamore Middle School (no pets, please). Walk, jog or sprint - anything is fine so long as you have fun! There will be a post-race celebration with music, snacks and water. All proceeds from the event support CASA DeKalb County's advocacy of children from DeKalb County who have experienced abuse and neglect.  Registration fee is $30 for ages 13+ and includes a t-shirt and color packet and $20 for ages 5-12 and includes a t-shirt and color packet. This VIRTUAL event will help raise funds to support the DRS Research Career Development (RCD) Program and contribute to future scholarships and grant opportunities for our members. Though Ben's life on earth was brief, his story changed us. It deepened our faith, stretched our hearts, and made us see vulnerable children in a way we never had before. 7th Annual Clinton Classic 5K at Rock Creek Park, Lewisburg TN. All proceeds are donated to the ALS Association.    The Clinton Classic was started in 2020 in memory of Ruby Calahan who lost her battle to ALS in 2018. Her family chooses to honor her life by hosting the Clinton Classic each year. All proceeds from the race are donated to the ALS Association in hopes of funding research and finding a cure. Over the years, we have added many names to the list of those we run in memory of who have lost their lives to this terrible disease. Join us this year in support of this great cause! Race begins at 8:00 am near the stage. Look for the large blowup finish line. Finisher medals given to all participants. First place winners of their age division will also receive medals. The Smoky Mountain Wheelmen proudly present the 24th Edition of the Cherohala Challenge.  The event offers three distinctive rides that almost anyone can find a ride that will fit their skill level with rides of  35, 62, and 115 miles.  Join us Saturday, June 6, for breathtaking views and pride inducing climbs on one of three world class routes. The 2026 edition moves the start/finish to Vonore to enhance, safety, new routes, and a new overall experience!   The title event, the Cherohala Challenge Century, is not for the faint of heart. This once in a lifetime ride tests riders with 115 miles and 10,350ft of climbing across two states. Riders begin in Vonore heading climb to Deals Gap and brave the fabled 318 curves of the Tail of the Dragon. After besting the beast, riders will descend the mountain into the Joyce Kilmer Forest near Robbinsville, North Carolina. This 5K hosted by Barrow Brewing Company on June 6th will benefit the Armed Services YMCA! Ricky Moyer loved many things in life, including farming, weight-lifting (all exercise really) and practicing law.  He was a devoted husband and father with countless friends in each of these industries. Always putting others before himself, he was generous, kind and always quick to offer words of wisdom. Over the years Rick competed in dozens of 5K races, often with his family in town. With his favorite season upon us, we are choosing to honor Rick’s legacy featuring his very favorite event - a Pump & Run and 5K walk/run. As he would often say to family and friends in regard to these friendly physical competitions - “pain is weakness leaving the body.” Our goal remains the same and we look forward to giving out our first scholarship to any Clinton County student interested in furthering their education in Agriculture, Criminal Justice or History.

Ho’ōla-To Heal On Saturday, June 6, 2026, we welcome runners, joggers, and walkers of all fitness levels to unite at the Ho‘ōla 5K. This new 3.1-mile race through Kalama Valley is professionally timed for competitive participants, while also allowing strollers in a family-friendly environment. The race aims to foster connection and care within our local community by raising funds for the Hawai‘i Primary Care Association (HPCA), a non-profit organization that supports fourteen community health centers (CHCs) across all eight Hawaiian Islands. Through HPCA’s work, underserved families facing linguistic and financial barriers gain access to essential healthcare—addressing critical gaps where many hospitals fall short.
