The Crescent City Classic and YMCA of Greater New Orleans are teaming up again to produce the Corporate Classic. The 3.1-mile race event will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 8:00AM in City Park. The start line will be located in City Park near the Children's Museum (15 Henry Thomas Dr, New Orleans, LA 70124). You can participate as an individual or on a team. THE ONLY 5K QUALIFIER FOR THE CCC10K ON march 27, 2027: The Corporate Classic 5K serves as the ONLY 5K qualifier for the Crescent City Classic 10k. In order to qualify for a seeded position in the Crescent City Classic 10k, participants must run the Corporate Classic in under 27:00 minutes. JRs 11- 18 have a rare opportunity to race like the pros! No equipment required in this fast-paced triathlon for new or experienced teen triathletes! We provide the bikes - just bring your bathing suit, goggles, and run shoes! Come ready to ride a road bike sized for you and set up on computerized trainers. Compete against other teens riding on a route on a big screen TV! Hop off the bike and into the pool for a swim! Out of the pool, head onto the run course for a 1 mile run and across the epic finish line! Ages 11-14: 3 mile bike, 200 yard swim, 1 mile run Ages 15 - 18: 5 mile bike, 300 yard swim, 1 mile run Registration for each race closes 2 days prior to race day or when full. Fit 2 B Kids offers a multisport event for youth ages 7-15* called a Splash & Dash! (*determined by age as of 12/31/2026, not the age on race day.) Young athletes participate in a swim-run-race event and have an opportunity to get a cool race shirt, cross a finish line, and earn a medal! Coaches first introduce young athletes to racing in an atmosphere of fun and learning. Athlete will: Learn how to set up their swim-run transition.How the swim start is set up and how many laps they will do based on age.They will walk through the logistics of the run course.Participate in a team warm up.Be able to ask questions.Put it all together and participate in the final event on the same day! Wear their finish line medal!Enjoy post event food and music!Have fun! Distances: At Fit 2 B Kids, we believe young athletes should develop speed in shorter distances before developing endurance. Why? The window for developing speed is only open at younger ages, but athletes have a lifetime to develop endurance. We follow USA Triathlon's guidelines for age-appropriate race development and encourage young athletes to be the best they can be at the distance they race. Ages 7-8: swim 50m (pool), run .5 mile (1 lap) Ages 9-10: swim 100m (pool), run .5 mile (1 lap) Ages 11-12: swim 200m (pool), run 1 mile (2 laps) Ages 13-15: swim 300 (pool), run 1 mile (2 laps) Note: if an athlete is unable or does not complete all laps for any reason, they will receive a finisher medal, however, they will not be eligible for podium awards. Sheriff's Meadow Foundation welcomes you to its Fourth Annual Trail Run! The run will take place on Saturday, October 24th along the trails of Caroline Tuthill Preserve, an expanse of over 150 acres of oak and pitch pine forest, salt marsh, and open meadow located in Edgartown. Beginning at the field along Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road, the trail run consists of a 3 mile loop through the pitch pine forest continuing on circuitous paths past salt marshes down to Sengekontacket Pond and back. The terrain begins in a field and includes a short section of paved bike path before entering the Preserve, where you will encounter a mix of sand and dirt paths before reaching a 160-foot raised boardwalk and ending back at the field. * There is no cost to register for the event. Any contributions will support our work to conserve the natural, beautiful, rural landscape and character of Martha's Vineyard for present and future generations. Parking will be available at the Edgartown Park-and-Ride which is located by the Edgartown triangle and is free of charge. Please cross Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road at the designated crosswalk and continue along the north side of the road to access the start line. We are excited to work with IncredibleBank of Houghton to bring a new race to the Copper Country! This October on the 24th at 10 am we will be hosting the First Fall Frolic 5k and Kids Dash! The Fall Frolic 5k Run offers a scenic run along the Houghton canal and an opportunity to conclude your running season before the snow arrives! The course is an out and back on the bike path, giving you the full experience of the Keweenaw Waterway. All races will begin and end at Kestner Waterfront Park in Houghton. The Fall Frolic 5k is a great way to break up training for those looking to hop into a late season fall marathon and cap off their running journey for the 2026 season. We are hoping this allows for one last fun hoorah before we all put our ski clothes on for our outdoor adventures and one last run outdoor for those who hibernate on the treadmill for the winter. We will have awards for the Top 3 individuals in both the Men's and Women's 5k. Packet Pick-up will be the day before Friday October 23th from 3pm - 7pm. Join us for the first annual Miles for Smiles 5K at Youth Haven, a camp for disadvantaged children located in Rives Juction, MI, about halfway between Lansing and Jackson. The races will be on a flat, fast cross country course primarily through the woods and with great spectator access. Afterward, stick around for our annual harvest festival and enjoy the beauty of fall, with good food and outdoor fun for all ages! Weather permitting, activities will include food, hayrides, bonfires, a petting farm, playground, children's games, and a zipline! (Zipline safety requirements: Close-toed shoes are required. Riders must weigh between 75 - 275 pounds.)

Get ready for another CAL CRUSHER 2026 - ENDURANCE RUN!! Come on out and crush as many miles as you can in 30 hours. Just so we are on the same page...this is a FUN RUN. This year's race donations will go towards the research for Breast Cancer at the Van Andel Institute. "Van Andel Institute engages the world's brightest minds and advances the boldest ideas in pursuit of the biggest breakthroughs for humanity." Breast cancer has impacted many people either directly or indirectly. It is a cancer experienced by both men and women. Come on out, wear pink, support the research, and crush some miles in honor of someone you know that has fought a battle with breast cancer. Like last year, run/walk all your miles at once, or run - go home and sleep - come back and run some more, or for those that have never run through the night and want to just see what it's like, make it a midnight run adventure. It's all up to you!! Again, you will have 30 hours to crush as many miles as you can. Awards will be given out for the male and female who crush the most miles in 30 hours. Miles will be tracked at the aid station. Running time will start at 6:00 am on Saturday, October 24th. Clock stops at 12:00 noon on Sunday, October 25th. The race will begin and end near the pavilion of the Caledonia Community Green Space. There will be an aid station as well as restrooms available. The route will be a 5 mile loop through Caledonia, on the trails, and around the schools.
