2026 Winter Warriors NY Challenge: Conquer the Frozen Tundra

ANYWHERE, WI
Winter in Wisconsin doesn’t ask for permission. It shows up early, stays late, and dares you to keep going. Conquer the Frozen Tundra is our newest winter run program for runners and walkers who know that strength is built when the air bites and the sidewalks crunch. This is about momentum through the darkest months, shared miles, and finding warmth in community even when the thermometer disagrees. You don’t battle winter alone. You move through it together. And this year, we’re tackling the state of Wisconsin on our tour! Each week, we’ll tackle new routes across Wisconsin designed to introduce you to the sights and sounds of communities across the state. As you track your mileage, you’ll get guidance on cold-weather gear, pacing, and footing, plus the accountability that makes it easier to lace up when the couch feels persuasive. No bravado required. Just consistency, grit, and a willingness to show up. This program is for anyone who wants to: Stay active all winter without going it

A Faster 5k - 2026 Mileage Challenge

Ocala, FL
Speed is Built in the Shadows. Consistency is the Light. A PR isn't made on race day. It’s made on the cold Tuesday mornings, the tired Thursday evenings, and the long weekend miles when no one else is watching. Welcome to the A Faster 5K 2026 Mileage Challenge. This year, we aren't chasing an arbitrary number. We are chasing something harder to catch: unwavering consistency. This challenge is your framework for showing up, week in and week out. For the New Runner: Consistency is the secret sauce. It’s not about how fast you go; it’s about how often you lace up. This is where you build the habit that changes everything. We’re here to help you make that commitment stick. For the Veteran: You know the drill. You can’t cheat the mileage. This challenge is your accountability mirror—a reminder to stop negotiating with yourself and get the work done. We provide the tracker. The community provides the accountability. You provide the effort. Let's build serious momentum together.

Dr. Ruff first organized the the Series in 1997, with a goal of encouraging broader participation in local races. The List cares nothing of your resolutions, goals or fears.  It cares only for the mileage you feed it.... #FEEDTHELIST 2026 mileage shirts will be sold through the 2026 River to River Runners Club Banquet registration.  Banquet registration should open around Thanksgiving.
