Girls On The Run Greater Boston Spring Season Celebratory 5K

Each season comes to an end with a celebratory 5K. This closing event gives program participants of all abilities a tangible sense of accomplishment. Crossing the finish line instills confidence through completion and is a joyful moment program participants always remember! Everyone who participates in our 5K receives a commemorative medal to celebrate this incredible achievement. What's a 5K Buddy? 5K Buddy Registration will open on April 13Every Girls on the Run participant at the 5K must run or walk alongside their chosen 5K Buddy. A 5K Buddy is someone 16+  who is responsible for encouraging, motivating, and keeping them safe on the 5K course and throughout the day. Each GOTR participant should be paired with one 5K Buddy. We ask that only one 5K buddy register per GOTR participant. Any additional people who want to participate should register as a Community Runner.
