Liberty Elementary's Run for the Kids

Liberty Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (LPTO) will be hosting Run for the Kids in Downtown Sallisaw on April 11th , and we would love for you to join us.  The race will be run a USATF Certified course that has been previously used for the Diamond Daze Festival Run and the race will be timed by I:40 Race Service.   We will also have a 1 Mile Fun Run for kids and those who want to show their support over a shorter distance.      Why are we doing this?  LPTO exists to raise funds to be able to support teachers and students in the classroom. Turtle Trot 10K & 5K

The Turtle Trot 10k & 5k is held at SunWest Park in Hudson. The course takes you on a paved hiking path around old salt mines. If you've never been to SunWest Park, you're in for a treat!  Participants may run or walk any distance.   Packet Pickup is on Saturday morning from 6:45 am to 7:45 am. Lincoln Presidential Half Marathon

Join us on Saturday, April 11, 2026 as runners from many states and countries take in Abraham Lincoln sites during this scenic half marathon. This USATF certified course will immerse you in Lincoln history unlike any other race!   ​The race starts at the Old State Capitol where Lincoln gave his famous House Divided speech.  Just across the plaza from the Capitol, within the first quarter mile of the race, is the Lincoln-Herndon Law Offices.  This is the only building still standing where Lincoln practiced law during in his 25-year career.  Not even a mile into the race, runners go back in time for two blocks, passing by the only home Abraham Lincoln ever owned.  During mile nine, runners enter Oak Ridge cemetery and are able to view Lincoln's final resting place.  Mile 10 takes runners through the local city park named after the 16th president.  During the final mile of the race, runners will pass by historic Union Train station directly adjacent to the Abraham Lincoln Museum and L

Unfortunately many veterans lost their battle  with PTSD  and we feel it's our duty to honor their memory and service to our country. This 5K Run/Walk/Ruck, dog friendly. Prevea Health Run Away to the Bay

The Prevea Health Run Away to the Bay is a 55-mile spring relay race with teams of 2-8 participants. Starting on the shores of Lake Winnebago in Menomonee Park in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, runners will head north along the lake towards the Fox Cities before crossing the countryside of Calumet County and finally entering the Fox River Trail just north of Forest Junction. Boys and Girls Club of Greater Westfield Half Marathon

Our Half Marathon is still happening—just taking a quick jog to a new date. New Race Day: Saturday, April 11(Originally March 28)   Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield Half Marathon/5K/10K/Kids Fun Run will start at 11:00 a.m. on April 11. All runners will receive a unique medal and this year's half-marathon t-shirt! Everyone will have access to the post-race party in our gym, where results will also be posted.    The Westfield Half started in 1994 when a group of runners from the Empire One Running Club approached the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield with the idea of a half-marathon fundraiser. Since then, we have seen the Westfield Half grow from 142 runners to well over 600. In 2011, there were nearly 1,000 participants! We have also added a 10K, 5K run/walk, and a children’s race. BRRC's Recycle Fun Run 2026

The four-mile run benefits the BRRC volunteer program.  Please bring your gently used shoes and clothing for donation to high school athletes in the area. Fish Lake Trail Head: The trailhead is near Government Way and Sunset Hwy.  Take I-90 to Exit 279 for US-195 S toward Colfax/Pullman. Continue on 195 for 0.3 miles, then turn right onto W. 16th Avenue, which turns into S. Lindeke St. Continue on Lindeke until you see the parking lot on the right, about another 0.5 miles. Trailhead is near Government Way and Sunset Hwy.  Parking is limited, so please car-pool.  From the Spokane trailhead, the route follows a mild uphill grade. The bridge crosses over the I-90 Freeway.
