Liberty Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (LPTO) will be hosting Run for the Kids in Downtown Sallisaw on April 11th , and we would love for you to join us.  The race will be run a USATF Certified course that has been previously used for the Diamond Daze Festival Run and the race will be timed by I:40 Race Service.   We will also have a 1 Mile Fun Run for kids and those who want to show their support over a shorter distance.      Why are we doing this?  LPTO exists to raise funds to be able to support teachers and students in the classroom. The Turtle Trot 10k & 5k is held at SunWest Park in Hudson. The course takes you on a paved hiking path around old salt mines. If you've never been to SunWest Park, you're in for a treat!  Participants may run or walk any distance.   Packet Pickup is on Saturday morning from 6:45 am to 7:45 am. A pre-race meeting for both events will begin at 7:50 am.   Every registered participant will receive a finisher award and the top male and female in the timed 10K and 5K will receive an overall award. Join us on Saturday, April 11, 2026 as runners from many states and countries take in Abraham Lincoln sites during this scenic half marathon. This USATF certified course will immerse you in Lincoln history unlike any other race!   ​The race starts at the Old State Capitol where Lincoln gave his famous House Divided speech.  Just across the plaza from the Capitol, within the first quarter mile of the race, is the Lincoln-Herndon Law Offices.  This is the only building still standing where Lincoln practiced law during in his 25-year career.  Not even a mile into the race, runners go back in time for two blocks, passing by the only home Abraham Lincoln ever owned.  During mile nine, runners enter Oak Ridge cemetery and are able to view Lincoln's final resting place.  Mile 10 takes runners through the local city park named after the 16th president.  During the final mile of the race, runners will pass by historic Union Train station directly adjacent to the Abraham Lincoln Museum and L

The Prevea Health Run Away to the Bay is a 55-mile spring relay race with teams of 2-8 participants. Starting on the shores of Lake Winnebago in Menomonee Park in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, runners will head north along the lake towards the Fox Cities before crossing the countryside of Calumet County and finally entering the Fox River Trail just north of Forest Junction. Runners will stay on the trail until reaching the waterfront finish line on The City Deck, in Downtown Green Bay. This event is part of the 4imprint Race Series.

This is a trail run through the beautiful woods of Colt Creek State Park. Whether you're aiming for a personal best or reveling in the joy of the run, our race at Colt Creek State Park promises an unmatched blend of fitness, camaraderie, and natural beauty. Picture towering pine trees, flat terrains, and serene lakes—all set against the backdrop of pristine wilderness. Our courses are very well marked with signage. Aid stations will be every 2.5 miles. Our Half Marathon is still happening—just taking a quick jog to a new date. New Race Day: Saturday, April 11(Originally March 28)   Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield Half Marathon/5K/10K/Kids Fun Run will start at 11:00 a.m. on April 11. All runners will receive a unique medal and this year's half-marathon t-shirt! Everyone will have access to the post-race party in our gym, where results will also be posted.    The Westfield Half started in 1994 when a group of runners from the Empire One Running Club approached the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield with the idea of a half-marathon fundraiser. Since then, we have seen the Westfield Half grow from 142 runners to well over 600. In 2011, there were nearly 1,000 participants! We have also added a 10K, 5K run/walk, and a children’s race. Kia Georgia and Anthem BCBS are proud to host the 2026 Spring into Wellness 5K at the beautiful Robin Lake Beach at Callaway Resort & Gardens on Saturday, April 11, 2026.  The event will kick off at 8:30 AM (Gates open at 6:30 AM) and will feature a timed and certified 5K, a Leisure 1-Mile Walk/Run, and a Tot Trot for children five and under. The awards ceremony will recognize 5K participants following the race. This event is designed to encourage Kia Georgia team members and their families to prioritize wellness, movement, and connection. Thanks to support from Anthem, registration is FREE for Kia Georgia team members and their immediate family members (spouse and dependent children). We are excited to have you join us for our 4th Annual Pride of the Patriots 5K!  This year the race will be taking place at Bill Fredrick Park at Turkey Lake.  With over 200 participants, the Pride of the Patriots Marching Band is one of the largest in Central Florida. A fast and flat Boston qualifying course through the City of Charleston, West Virginia will take you 26.2 miles around our state capitol, on the historic streets of the city, across the Kanawha river, and through the University of Charleston campus! The four-mile run benefits the BRRC volunteer program.  Please bring your gently used shoes and clothing for donation to high school athletes in the area. Fish Lake Trail Head: The trailhead is near Government Way and Sunset Hwy.  Take I-90 to Exit 279 for US-195 S toward Colfax/Pullman. Continue on 195 for 0.3 miles, then turn right onto W. 16th Avenue, which turns into S. Lindeke St. Continue on Lindeke until you see the parking lot on the right, about another 0.5 miles. That number is projected to rise to 12.9 million by 2040. Parkinson’s is a chronic, progressive, and complex multi-system disorder with no known cure. While often classified as a movement disorder, it affects much more than just physical movement, impacting mental, emotional, and autonomic functions as well. WHATThe Wingman Foundation Coastal Carolina Memorial 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run WHY The Coastal Carolina Memorial 5K and Kid's Fun Run is an annual event to remember the life and legacy of service members lost in Navy and Marine Corps aviation mishaps. This event is an opportunity for the family members to connect with others who knew their loved ones, support the mission of The Wingman Foundation, or want to learn more about those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. This year we will remember the crew of Yanky 72, which included the Marine Corps KC-130 aircrew and Marine Special Operations Sailors and Marines. This year's race will be held in Union Point Park in New Bern, NC. There is also an option to participate virtually to support The Wingman Foundation from wherever you are.
