Each year, the Sarcoma Foundation of America raises awareness and funds for much-needed research, through RTCS events across the country. Glory’s Garden Foundation is hosting the Glory 5K Walk/Run to rally Northeast Louisiana around families fighting through the NICU journey. In 2023 Glory Ann Strickland was born at 24 weeks and spent 308 days in the St. Francis and Childrens Hospital NICU. Her parents, family and friends understand no parent should face that lonely road alone. This event is more than a race; it’s a public show of love that raises critical support for medical expenses, travel, meals, and at home living expenses for NICU families. Our goal is to reach 1000 registrations so we could help 200 families. When our community shows up together, we don’t just raise funds we raise hope, dignity, and relief in the moments families need it most.

The 5th Annual Cake by the Lake 5K and One Mile Cakewalk will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2026 on the Withlacoochee State Trail! Both events start at Liberty Park in Inverness. 5K Runners will take off as the sun rises over the lake, with "5 K Race Walkers" starting just three minutes behind them.  Another 3 minutes later, the 1-mile walkers will enter the fray. Both the 5K and 1 mile routes travel along the beautiful shores of the Tsala Apopka chain of lakes. "Walk a mile in their shoes!" This year, we celebrate the 36th Annual Tallahassee AIDS Walk, working alongside partner organizations Neighborhood Medical Center and Bond Community Health Center. The Tallahassee AIDS Walk continues to grow, drawing hundreds of participants each year. AIDS Walk 2026 will be held on Saturday, April 4th at Cascades Park and begins at 9:00am.   This event is a celebration of all of those who have fought so hard to fight the spread of HIV/AIDS. All proceeds will go towards helping all three agencies provide direct-care services for our clients, and HIV prevention & education for the entire Big Bend region. Crystal Coast Cancer Rehab Center presents the 6th annual 5k fun run and 1-mile Cancer Survivor walk in historic Downtown Beaufort on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 8 am. This annual event is a rewarding and fun morning race for survivors, their families, and local runners. All race proceeds benefit Crystal Coast Cancer Rehab Center, a local non-profit that provides an oncology-specific exercise training program to empower local survivors’ bodies and minds to fight back against the devastating effects of cancer and treatment.  This race is open to anyone, regardless of age or experience, and we are looking forward to a large turn out! April is National Autism Awareness Month! Our FREE  youth and junior combine and skills clinic events let youth and teens experience all three sports with expert coaching, skill-building, baseline benchmarking, and tons of encouragement.   Whether you’re brand new to the sport of triathlon or already having run TRI-ing, you’ll learn new skills, meet other athletes your age, and discover your potential. This is the 14th annual Team Red Shamrock Trail Challenge to benefit Red Shamrock Foundation (RSF). We are returning again to Coralville Creekside Park with a 5K and 10 mile distance. 5K awards ceremony will begin around 10:00 AM and the 10 mile awards will start around 11:15. We would like 10 mile participants to finish within 2 1/2 hours but we will not pull anyone from the course. Race will be chip-timed by Nonstop Race Management.

Join us on Saturday, April 4, for a run/walk with your families as we celebrate our risen Savior. We will have both competitive and recreational categories available for the avid runners or the leisurely walkers. Join us for a .60-mile loop around the campus of Central Christian School!  Our morning will begin with registration starting at 8:00 a.m., a devotional at 8:15 a.m., the competitive runners beginning at 8:30 a.m., and the recreational/walkers beginning at 8:32 a.m. The fun run/walk will conclude at 9:30 a.m. for both competitive and recreational categories. Then plan to join us for pancakes and fellowship from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in our fitness center!  This event is family friendly, so please plan to bring the entire family and even invite your neighbors! Join the Franklin County Historical Society for our 4th 5K Fun Run. Course will begin and end at the Old Depot Museum in Ottawa, KS. Registration starts at 8:15, with the race beginning at 9:00. Early registration participants will receive a t-shirt with their registration fee. Money raised will be used to help support the ongoing projects of the Franklin County Historical society. Mark your calendars for the 8th annual Bluestem PACE 5K Race on Saturday, April 4, 2026! Proceeds from the race will benefit the Bluestem PACE Good Neighbor Fund.  This fund is in place to assist participants who encounter unforeseen circumstances and to support Bluestem PACE in providing high quality services.  Bluestem PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) assists seniors in central Kansas so they can remain safe and independent in their home as long as possible.  Bluestem PACE is a non-profit organization.   ***First 50 people to sign up will receive a gift certificate for 18 holes of golf at Turkey Creek Golf Course in McPherson.***

The Easter Egg 5K is a a great event that provides the fun of Easter in a 5K, 10K and kids run! The event is a fundraiser for Cornerstones of Care and includes a 5K, 10K and a kids run. 5K and 10K participants receive a finishers medal and the kids run registrants can add a shirt at registration for only $7.
