Hit the trails with Team Summit for a fast and challenging race through Little Mulberry Park this December.-The 10 Mile race will feature roughly 1,400ft of vertical gain. It’s the most RUNderful time of the year! 8k can choose to be a Santa, Elf, Reindeer, or Snowman.   The 10th Annual Santa Run 8K/5K & Snowman Dash presented by Taylor Clay Products, will take place on December 19, 2026 at 9:00am in front of Truist Ball park in Uptown Charlotte. Get in the holiday spirit with the most festive 5K of all! Winding through the beautiful pine tree acreage of Walnut Ridge Tree Farm, you'll be filled with the Christmas spirit as you embark on a 5K journey through glimmering lights and the beauty of the season. Participant's families and friends can come spectate while enjoying the fun atmosphere, enjoying fresh hot cocoa and the merriment of the Christmas season.  The 1K race is primarily geared towards children and walkers who may prefer a shorter distance than the 5K. Both races will begin together, and the 1K participants will split off and turn left around a pine tree field while the 5K participants continue straight.  Both races will begin at 4:00pm in two waves about 1 minute apart, with the Pine K splitting off to the western pine grove quickly after the start while the 5K will continue straight to the northern pine groves. Just in time for Christmas, this thrilling two-loop course invites runners and walkers alike to wind through campus and the woods behind Peninsula Catholic High School, all decked out in Christmas lights and full of holiday cheer. Best of all, 100% of registration profits (after costs) will be donated to charity.   But which charity? A number of teams will be competing for a grand prize: the right to choose which charity will receive 50% of the race registration profits. Frosty Goes 5k Off Road Santa says you could win this!!! Join us for the FROSTY 5K on December 19, Saturday, with a start time of 10 AM. This exciting frosty 5k run takes place at the Town of Stratford's own Roosevelt Forest, giving you a wonderful opportunity to 'get off the road' and onto the trails with nature. Who knows, maybe we can even spot Frosty running alongside us! Feel free to dress up in any holiday costume, but a little trail experience is required. You can choose to run, jog, hike, or walk the 5K and enjoy a new panorama while embracing the 'Holiday Spirit' as you move along. There will be awards for the top 3 females and top 3 men with the fastest finish! Join Killeen Parks and Recreation in the only Half Marathon in the 2026 Centex Race Series.  All runners will receive points and we will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals for each female/male age group and female/male overall winners. Packets may be picked up ahead of race day from 8am-8pm December 17 & 18 at the Family Recreation Center, 1700 E Stan Schlueter Loop, Killeen. The San Diego Holiday Half Marathon is a fast 13.1-mile course that starts on Penasquitos Drive in front of the Hotel Karlan (formerly, the Doubletree Golf Resort) then travels SW along Carmel Mountain Rd (your only ‘real’ hill at mile 1.5), along the 56 bike path and finishes at the beautiful Torrey Pines State Beach (pictured above!). The race includes a 711-foot net elevation drop along the “rolling” downhill bike path, which also makes it a personal best candidate. This popular winter half has been a sell-out event every year. Start off your Christmas festivities with the Grinch Gallop! You can run, walk, gallop, or skip your way through the country roads of Van Alstyne, Texas. The race is part of the King & Queen Series and the Tennessee Running Tour.  The race is owned and managed by the State of Franklin Track Club.  It is part of SFTC's 2026 King & Queen Competition series.  David Crockett Birthplace State Park will be open for the race but with limited access.  Because of the limited access to the park, I will not be having an age group awards ceremony, but each runner will receive a medal at the finish line.  But the overall male & female will receive a trophy at the finish line.  Also, I will have a donation jar for donation for the "Friends of the Park" to help restore the park.                                                        THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS

This is a community event where every participant will run and/or walk a full 5K around the Del Trail (Skagit Playfields), named for MVHS's long time distance coach, Jess del Bosque. Each participant will receive a *T-shirt and Santa's hat. All the "Santas" will be led by a team of "reindeer" (MVHS XC runners) at the start.
