As autumn paints the landscape with vibrant hues and the Texas heat takes a brief respite, participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in the stunning fall colors while enjoying a well-organized and festive running experience. The Turkey Shuffle offers a variety of distances to suit all levels of runners. Choose from a 1-mile jaunt, a 5-kilometer challenge, or a 10-kilometer trek through picturesque trails. For our youngest participants, we have a special treat—the Kids Dash! This exhilarating sprint of approximately 50 meters is designed for children aged 10 and under, promising a fun-filled experience for the little ones and a memorable day for the whole family. This at-home event will be held Friday, November 13th - Saturday, November 14th.  SLEEP IN SLEEP OUT for Youth Homelessness will take place in person at Wayward Social and virtually anywhere you want.  During this event, community members will brave the elements together and sleep outside, demonstrating solidarity with our homeless and unsheltered youth whom we work with day in and day out. There is nothing quite like Dollywood at Christmas. Experience a nighttime run in the nation’s most beautiful holiday park during the Smoky Mountain Christmas festival by registering for the 13th annual Light the Way 5K! This year’s event will take place on Friday, November 13 beginning at 11 p.m. We are excited to announce that this year’s race is being facilitated by the Knoxville Track Club (ktc.org). KTC will chip-time the event and work with the event team to provide runners with the best experience possible. In 2024, the event course was re-certified to provide the best race experience. It will start in a different location for a more streamlined course route that will eliminate runners having to make a second loop on park.  More than half of the course for this year's race will be off-park, first utilizing Dollywood's tram road and then concluding the race through Dollywood's 6 million Christmas lights. We're Back for Year 2! Join us for the 2nd Running or Rucking of the Sugar Rush Relay on November 14, 2026! This event is a 75 mile relay race through Sugar Land, TX. The 5 mile course begins at the Talyard Brewing Co, then tours along Oyster Creek, recharge at the 1/2 way aid station at Old Kempner Stadium, continue on past the iconic Imperial Sugar Mill and Constellation Field Stadium, and finally returning back to the brewery. Bound for the Hounds 6 Hour Ultra is being held to raise funds to support our local dog park!  Runners and walkers will have 6 hours to complete as many 2.3 mile out-and-backs of the Manchester Gateway Trail as they choose.  The trail is made of packed cinder and pavement (similar to the canal path) and has gentle rollers that seem to grow as the day goes on.  *Your canine companions are welcome as long as they are well-behaved on a leash at all times!    *The race director reserves the right to ask a dog's human to remove their dog from the event if any issues arise.

This will be the sixth running of the “I Thought Turkeys Could Fly” 5k. The proceeds this year will benefit the DUMA Food Bank.  The USATF certified course will begin and end on North General Lee Ave by Tyler Park in Dunn, NC. The course is flat and fast with only 56 ft of elevation change and a downhill finish. The race is scheduled for Saturday November 8, 2025. The race will start at 8:00 a.m. and will be chip timed. Medals will be presented to the top 3 overall female and male.  Age group medals will be given to females and males based on USAT&F 10 year groupings: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up. This is a race put on by the Hiester Cares Foundation. The funds raised in the Reidsville YMCA’s annual Turkey Trot race benefit the community by contributing to the Y’s Programs and Annual Giving Campaign. The Annual Giving Campaign provides financial assistance to those in our community who otherwise could not afford YMCA programs and services. Funding provides scholarships for memberships, swim lessons, sports and child care, creating opportunities for individuals of all ages and abilities regardless of their ability to pay. Welcome to the second annual Kat Walk.  Ken & Kat Atwood are committed to raising awareness about encephalitis through communication and education.  Their goal is to ensure others are best equipped to advocate for themselves and their loved ones.   Encephalitis affects one person every minute, worldwide. Prompt diagnosis and treatment is crucial to saving patient lives and limiting brain injury. But, the first step is research; which is critical. As a result of the Inaugural Kat Walk in 2025, almost $9k was donated to MAYO JAX specifically for encephalitis research! The Kat Walk is an untimed, half-mile route along the Port Orange riverfront. Whether you walk or run the entire distance or a few steps, you will be celebrated by a BIG Cheer Zone at the red-carpet finish! THIS is the Kat Walk for EVERY body without regard to physical limitations!  By registering for the Kat Walk, you are showing those who are directly and indirectly affected by encephalitis that they are not alone.  S

Join us on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM as we celebrate our veterans with a 5K race! The event will include food trucks, awards ceremony, organizations supporting veterans, and more. All ages are welcome. This event is a collaboration between the Veterans Council of Clay County, Florida and the Clay County Board of County Commissioners. Sharecroppers Coffee and Creamery is proud to host the 4th annual Thankful 4... 5K, 10K and Fun Run on Saturday November 14th at 8am.  The race is located in Snead, AL with the starting and ending points located at Sharecroppers.  Runners will enjoy a rather easy course with beautiful country scenery. Runners will have the opportunity to express what they are thankful for on our "thankful boards" and enjoy a fun photo booth from ELC Productions! Afterwards hang around and visit the shop.  We are a full espresso bar that also serves breakfast, lunch, ice cream, and more.  You can also visit our large gift shop!  RACE IS CHIP-TIMED and walkers are welcome.  Proceeds from this race will support the "Sharecroppers Soles" fund.  This fund allows XC as well as Track and Field students to apply for a "shoe scholarship".  If chosen the student is taken to be properly fitted with appropriate shoes for their sport.  Race packet includes: bib, shirt, finisher award and mor
