The 19th Annual Harvest Moon Race 10 Mile Run and 5k Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, November 14th. The race starts and finishes at St. Philip’s Church at 1629 Beaver Grade Road in Moon Township. Races will be chip-timed by Wolf Creek Race Management. EMS will be on hand for major injuries. The race will take place rain or shine.  T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrants after October 14, 2026. The 4th annual Meatball 5K Run and 1 mile fun run is a USATF certified race through the historic district of Summerville, SC. The race begins and ends at St Paul's Summerville, SC. The event is hosted by the Summerville Italian Feast and benefits Dorchester District II Educational Foundation with proceeds helping to fund STEAM programs. Awards will be given for individuals male/female top 3 in each age category and a team award for highest participation. 5K participants will receive a t-shirt and a medal with registration. Secret City Half Marathon and 5K      Date: November 14, 2026 The half marathon route starts at the scenic Melton Lake Park peninsula.  Considered a great PR course!  Course runs along the beautiful Melton Lake then down by an operational quarry for a change of scenery. Continue along a serene tree-lined private road then wind through Oak Ridge.  Finish your race along the water's edge right back to the peninsula.  Course is USATF certified with certification # TN15066MS. The 5K race route starts and finishes at the Melton Lake Park peninsula.  The course follows the water's edge along Melton Lake to Elza Gate Park then double back down the walking trail to the peninsula.  A very scenic, easy,  and enjoyable 5K run. NORRIS ULTRA DAM HARD TRAIL RACE TIME & PLACE: 25k and 50k races start at 8:00am. Starts/Finishes at the pavilion near the Tea Room - Google Maps link here: Norris Dam State Park, Norris, TN. COURSE DESCRIPTION: Both race options will take place on single track trails and jeep roads spanning across both the Norris Dam State Park and Norris Municipal Watershed areas. The 25k course and 50k course are identical in that the shorter race goes one loop and the 50k two.  The races will have multiple aid stations easily accessible by road for spectators and people supporting their runners. The 25k option will have a 4:40 time limit and the 50k option will have a 9 hour time limit, with 50k runners required to reach halfway AND leave the aid station within 4 hours to be allowed to go back out.  ACCOMMODATIONS: Norris Dam State Park has two campgrounds available with water and electric hook-up and dump stations. 2026 Huntsville Half Marathon Join us for the 48th Annual Huntsville Half Marathon, sponsored by Fleet Feet Huntsville/Madison and presented by the Huntsville Track Club! The race starts at 8 a.m., Nov. 14, at Hillwood Baptist Church, 300 Kohler Road, Huntsville, AL. This flat and fast course through South Huntsville is perfect for first-time half marathoners, PR attempts, and as training for the Rocket City Marathon.   Aid stations with water, powerade, Gu, bananas and porta-potties will be provided every 2 miles. 8th Annual Ezra J. Hartke Race for Hope Saturday, November 14, 2026 at 9:00 AMKyle Park, Tipp City, OH Ezra loved trains, cars, superheroes and all things “boy”. In August of 2017 at the age of 3, Ezra was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. After a year of living life and fighting the disease, Ezra unfortunately lost his battle in September of 2018 at the very young age of 4. During his illness, Ezra and his family were humbled by the caregivers and all of the support they received from so many people.  As so much support was provided during Ezra’s illness, the family wants to honor Ezra’s legacy by raising money in support of childhood cancer research and care. The La Porte By the Bay Half Marathon starts at Sylvan Beach Park by the water. The course takes runners through La Porte streets and onto the Fred Hartman Bridge, one of Texas' most distinctive structures. The bridge features twin steel towers reaching 440 feet high, with yellow cables that stand out against the sky. After completing two bridge crossings, runners finish at Five Points Plaza where they can enjoy a post-race party featuring good food, cold beer, and awards. All finishers receive a medal. This event is the third race in the Texas Bridge Series, organized by 3 Bros Running Company.

The Horace Mann PTA is hosting its 6th annual Great Turkey Chase 5K & Fun Run, and we are so excited! This is one of the few opportunities we have during the school year where we can come together as a community - families, teachers, and neighbors - to celebrate our amazing school and faculty, as well as have a great time!  Why are we running? Over 75% of the PTA’s fundraising dollars go towards the salaries of many of our partner teachers and specialists – funds that are not provided by DCPS. The PTA also supports a myriad of initiatives, including educational programs like gardening and language, professional development opportunities, classroom enrichment, facility enhancements, and more!
