We will also be running Sunday's 1/2 Marathon in addition to the traditional Saturday Races. So, you may run the 1/2 marathon on either Saturday or Sunday (same course, same support, but two separate awards.)  If you want to run the Marathon, 10K or Kids K- they will be offered on Saturday only.  We added the Sunday 1/2 Marathon since Saturdays 1/2 Marathon fills up very early. Many of the trails throughout Marmon Valley's 500 acres are bridle trails, farm lanes, and open meadows providing a fantastic trail running experience! D.C. has over 500 homeless veterans living on the streets or temporary housing facilities. During the winter months, these veterans face extreme cold out in the elements and have no where to turn for support and a hot meal. The Feed a Veteran 5K on Saturday, November 7, 2026 is a fun 3.1 mile road race on an enclosure golf car path of Old Hickory Golf Course in Woodbridge, VA. The race is organized with community partners to raise money and provide hot food and winter survival kits for the homeless veterans in DC and provide suicide prevention programs for veterans. What makes this race incredibly unique is that after the race, all participants and volunteers will have the opportunity to assemble sandwiches and soup that will be delivered to these homeless veterans the afternoon after the race!
