This gorgeous trail race benefits the Hartland Area Project, 10am Sunday, November 1st, 2026.  The race trail winds around Lake Walden with a start and finish at Waldenwoods Resort & Conference Center, the crown jewel of Livingston County (established in 1924).  Registration is $30 until Oct 20th, $35 until Nov 2nd, and $40 day of race. SCPO DANIEL R. HEALY Senior Chief Petty Officer Daniel R. Healy, US Navy SEAL, BUD/S Class 176, SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team One, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, was born on July 17, 1968 in Exeter, NH and KIA in the Hindu Kush mountains of Kunar Province, Afghanistan on June 28, 2005 during Operation Red Wings. SCPO Healy was lost when the MH-47 helicopter he was aboard on a rescue mission was shot down when going to the aid of a team of four SEALs on a reconnaissance mission who were embroiled in a battle with a larger force of the Taliban.  When word got back to base about their plight, their fellow SEALs went into action filling two helicopters to go to their aid.  Due to his rank as a Senior Chief Petty Officer, Dan Healy did not have to go on that mission, but he insisted.  Taking men off of the lead helicopter SCPO Healy told the others “Those are my men and my face is going to be the first one they see”. For his actions, SCPO Healy was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star with Combat “V” f

OVERVIEW Enjoy a scenic trail run through Mounds State Park, along the river and by the ancient Adena Indian Mounds. You can choose a 5MI run, 5K run, or a 5K walk. A children's fun run will meet at 1:20 PM by the pool house; the fun run will start at 1:30 PM. This chip timed 10k starts and finishes at the Putnam County Junior High School located at 13183 N 350th Ave, McNabb, IL 61335. It is an out and back 10k on nicely paved county roads surrounded by beautiful country scenery. It is possible to see deer, turkey, and eagles while running. The course is a mix of hills and flat areas. Water stations will be available on the course. Strollers and walkers welcome, but please no headphones. There will be volunteers at each mile marker and intersection for traffic control, but the course will be open to local traffic. Emergency crew coverage available. There is a two-hour time limit on the course. Post-race food and beverages provided. Race sweatshirt guaranteed to all participants who are pre-registered by October 11th, 2026. The 27th annual Rattlesnake Master Run for the Prairie includes a 10K and 5K run and 5K walk that benefits Grand Prairie Friends, a non-profit land trust and conservation group in central Illinois.  This race circles the beautiful 130-acre Meadowbrook Park and prairie in Urbana, Illinois and includes some trail running. Race Start Time and Location: Here we are at the last race of our 2026 season! On 11/1, we are back in Brooklyn one last time for our Prospect Park Fall Duathlon! This is the perfect way to end our 2026 season with beautiful Fall weather and foliage throughout the park. As is tradition, we will have our post race BBQ as well, so bring your appetite. Just like our April edition of the race, you are running the entire outer loop of the park in your 2nd run, all 3.3 miles with 140ft elevation gain! Here is what you can expect on race day. At 7:30 am the race will start in Lincoln Field by the triangle grass area by the Well House Dr (E Lake Dr and Lincoln Rd entrance). Run #1 beginning at 7:30 am is a fast loop around the park’s inner circle. Athletes will set out along East Dr and make a left through Center Dr, where you will cut across the park, exiting west side. With little gain in elevation you’ll head around Prospect Park Lake where you will pick up speed as you head in for the bike

The Red Baron is out for REVENGE! The 44th running of the Red Baron provides the option of running a half marathon or a 5K. Discounts are available for current SUNY Corning Community College students (more info on that coming soon). Special 5K pricing is available for all participants age 18 and under.  This locally beloved race features a 1/2 marathon and 5K course designed by an angry Red Baron. This event is PERFECT for anyone who is looking for a uniquely challenging road race and the opportunity to test your mettle against the vengeful Red Baron! **THIS CAMP IS FOR C26 ATHLETES ONLY** Included in your entry fee is 4 dinners, 5 nights of lodging, fuel and nutrition and a camp shirt.  This camp is designed for athletes looking to both boost their run fitness over the winter and spend quality time with other athletes in an amazing atmosphere.  This 5 day run camp will include 6-8 total runs of varying length, duration and intensity. The duration and mileage of each run will be based on the athletes specific abilities and goals and placed in a specific run group. The #1 rule is NO ONE RUNS ALONE. The Florida Inline Skating Marathon’s Inaugural event was launched by Founder/President Mike Mason, and an impassioned ensemble of inline skaters, in October 2021. The FISM immediately became the largest skate race in Florida; and of the largest in the nation. The FISM is held at the World Class venue- Nathan Benderson Park, in the charming community of Lakewood Ranch, in sunny, Sarasota, Florida. A variety of race distances offer something for everyone, regardless of age or ability. Not since 2005 had the World Inline Cup (WIC) been represented in the USA, to which the FISM is proud to be an Associated Race. If you are returning, thank you for your past participation! The San Antonio River Authority together with the San Antonio River Foundation, invites you to participate in the final installment of the 2026 Race the River competitive paddling race series! Canoe and kayakers of all skill levels are invited to participate at each adventure race throughout the San Antonio River Basin.   Along with the City of San Antonio and GoRio Cruises, we are excited to return to the Riverwalk for the grand finale of this year’s paddling series. This year our Walk for the Homeless is returning to an in-person walk in downtown Saint Joseph on Friday, November 7 th! This event helps to raise awareness of homelessness in St. Joseph, Missouri. The walk helps raise funds for the homeless community in St. Joseph to help obtain I.D. cards, birth certificates, and transportation. A History of the MCL/TEL Semper Fi 5K Charity Run for Children The origin of the run was as a fundraiser for the children and families of the Marines and Sailors who had perished in the Marine Barracks Beirut, Lebanon terrorist bombing attack on October 23, 1983. Marine 1stLt Chris Holzworth, having recently reported to the Marine Air Training and Support Group-21 (MATSG-21), Naval Air Station Pensacola, for flight training, presented the idea for the charity run to the CommandingOfficer, Colonel Robert “Bull” Bland, USMC. MATSG-21 adopted the idea and became the first sponsor of the event, initially named The Beirut Relief 10K Run. Colonel Bland assigned 1st Lt Chris Holzworth, who had initiated the idea, as the first Race Director. NAS Pensacola hosted the first run on Armed Forces Day in May 1984 with Brigadier General Joseph Hoar, USMC representing Headquarters Marine Corps and receiving the proceeds of the race. This race is the oldest annual race in Polk County and runs on residential streets and paved running paths through the Lakeland chain of lakes and the historic Lake Morton district, encompassing three lakes during the course. 15th Annual RUN for your LUNGS! Jackie's Run for Life @ Lake Blackshear Resort in Cordele GA!  This is a Clover & Black Bag Event, and raises awareness for the deadliest cancer of all cancers, Lung Cancer.  We are our own 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to helping folks in our area struggling with the disease.  Each participant receives a GREAT long sleeve T-shirt, goody bag, lunch & beverages (beer for 21 & up!!) after the run!!!  Thursday 10/30 Packet Pick up will be at Austins Fire Grill on Old Dawson Road in Albany from 4-6 PM,  Friday Oct 31st @ Cypress Grill from 4-6 PM at Cypress Gill and you can also get your packet on Saturday morning Nov 1st. Friday night Cypress will be open for folks to have dinner & drinks, their menu may be normal or limited to certain food items. It is an incredible time for a great cause!!!!
