Come celebrate Día De Los Muertos (Day Of The Dead) and run a 5k race.    5k run/walk starts 9am on Saturday October 31st, 2026. All levels are welcome, it is a fully paved path, strollers are welcome. Packet Pick up is Saturday October 31st 7am-8:45am at North Natomas Regional Park (Same location as the race). All participants will receive a t-shirt and sticker with registration, top 3 in each age group and top 3 over all in male and female categories will receive ribbons.   The race will be held at North Natomas Regional Park, it is a flat course held on the sidewalk which is a loop around the entire park. All ages and running/walking abilities are welcome to participate. Participants are welcome to wear costumes. Race Description  Join us on October 31th, 2026, for a scenic run through the Southern Kettle Moraine Forest on the historic Ice Age Trail. Participants can choose between 100k and 50k distances. Each finisher will have the opportunity to brand their wooden medal on-site, with the option to have their finishing time burned on the back. Enjoy the stunning fall colors and be part of this memorable event. 100k Elevation - 6,493 50k Elevation - 2,221 Race Course The 100k and 50 races will both start at DJ Mackie Campground, situated on the Scuppernong trails. Participants will navigate the green loop of the Scuppernong trail and proceed to join the Ice Age Trail westward to Emma Carlin. The 50k runners will turn around at Emma Carlin, while the 100k runners will continue on to Whitewater. Redeem Mi Run is the main annual fundraising event for the Redeem Mi Land project. Whether you run the half marathon, or run/walk the 5k, come out and have fun! We will have a great time getting together, running, and being part of the land redemption project for Redeem Mi Land in Montague, Mi.  This year the race will be on Halloween! Saturday, Oct 31st, and we will have a lot of fun with it! Costume contest, treats, and more. Get ready to have fun. Near the Start and Finish line you see the land itself that will be redeemed. On the surface, it looks fine...but below the surface is the remnants of an old civic dump, the refuse of a past generation simply covered over...like icing on a burnt cake. The Silver Comet Half Marathon & Full Marathon are out and back USATF Certified races held entirely on the beautiful Silver Comet Trail just outside Atlanta in Mableton Georgia the last Saturday of each October.  The marathon is a Boston Qualifier event.   Our grass root events are perfect for first timers or competitive runners seeking PRs.  The Silver Comet Trail is beautiful and provides a flat and fast course. Come join us for the 5th  annual running of The Boo! On Broad will be Saturday, October 31.  This race is the beginning of the excitement leading into the mayhem that happens on Broad St every Halloween. We will be giving prizes for best costumes, all participants are encouraged to dress up. We will have a 1K Fun Run that starts at 8:00am. The 5K begins at 8:30am. Both races start on Broad St and finish in front of the Statham Elementary School Gym. Proceeds from both runs will benefit the SES and Bear Creek Middle School Running Clubs. The running club at SES is for 4th and 5th graders and the earnings will go to much needed running clothes and apparel for the students. The running club at BCMS includes 6th, 7th and 8th graders. They are also in need of clothes and apparel as well as track and field equipment. Both clubs promote a healthy lifestyle and a source of self-confidence and accomplishment for the students.

In an effort to help raise awareness and resources,  DA Racine is inviting you to support the annual Trek or Treat 5k Justice Run!   Douglas County District Attorney Dalia Racine partners annually with the ATIR-Wellness Community Inc. to raise funds for local domestic violence support organizations. This year SHAREHouse, the Trinity Center, and the Douglas County Solicitor's Office has partnered alongside the Douglas County District Attorney's Office and the ATIR Community for the race. The 2025 race will take place at Boundary Waters Park located in Douglasville, GA. The course is USATF-certified and an official Peachtree Road Race qualifier! The Boston Mini Marathon and 5K races are certified and professionally timed. They start in downtown Boston, wind through our farm land community and out into the fresh October country air. The entire route is paved, lined with refreshment stands every 2.5 miles and porta-potties at miles 2, 5, 7, and 11. The rolling hills are not extreme, though the final stretch can be a nice uphill challenge. At the finish line are healthy eats and drinks for each participant designed to speed your recovery. After that, roam around the downtown area and enjoy the festival of food, drinks and family-style southern hospitality!

The 42nd Annual Seaboard Festival 5K is a very historic Seaboard Railroad themed 5K that takes you through a residential neighborhood with rolling hills in downtown Hamlet NC. The top 350 finishers will receive a custom Railroad/Halloween themed finishers medal. Awards will also be given to the top 3 male and female finishers. Age group awards will be awarded 3 deep in 10 year age groups. We are proud to be able to offer three scholarships at Richmond Community College through donations and race registrations.

We’re back from the beyond for the Haunted Hustle 5K & 10K Run/Walk—a fun, costume-themed, non-timed, and family-friendly Halloween tradition! Come dressed for fun, grab your friends, and kick off Halloween with a bang. A prize will be awarded for Best Overall Costume, so get creative! Participation is limited to the first 200 registrants across the 5K and 10K, so don’t wait—this spooky favorite fills fast. Both races feature a course starting at Clarks Creek South in Puyallup, taking participants on a memorable run/walk through the cemetery, with a mix of sidewalks and off-the-beaten-path sections for a hauntingly good time. Signing up for the 17th annual Bertie Spectacular 5K has an added bonus this year.
