Rapides Junior Runners Fall Series provides 4 races in late August thru October for kids aged 3 to Junior High. Various distances are run, depending on the child's age: 3-5 runs a short distance for a Fun Run; 6-11 runs 1 mile; 12-14 will run 2 miles. One -mile participants may register via runsignup.com. No race day registration will be available. One registration is good for the entire season. Registration will open up again the day after each race to accommodate late registrants. Two-mile participants can either register as an individual participant via runsignup.com. If you are participating on a Junior High team, you will register with your Junior High School coach. The course is a true cross-country course, closed to traffic and utilizes the grounds of Ward 9 Sports Complex, 3311 Donahue Ferry Road, Pineville. Upon individual registration, each participant will receive a chipped bib to be kept and re-used at each race. If a runner happens to misplace or forget the bib number on race morning, replacement bib numbers will be available for purchase at the race venue for a cost of $10. Every one mile and Fun Run finisher will receive a medal at the finish line each race. The 1 Mile Fun Walk/Run and 5K Run has been RESCHEDULED to on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The warm-up will begin at 7:45 AM, followed by the 1 Mile Fun Walk/Run at 8:00 AM and the 5K Run at 8:30 AM. US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Who will be the last one standing? The Baltimore Road Runners Club is thrilled to bring a sanctioned backyard ultra to the Baltimore running community by partnering with race founder Mac McComas to present the 5th annual Mackyard Ultra! For those unfamiliar with backyard ultras, it is commonly referred to as a "last man standing" event. Runners will complete a 4.1667 mile course each hour until one person completes a lap (called a yard) by themselves. That person is the winner and only finisher of the race. The race will take place at Shawan Downs on their cross country course, so be ready to run on grass with plenty of ups, downs, twists, and turns to keep you engaged on each out and back lap.

Join us for the Wakefield Firefighter's Relief Association Halloween Hustle! This family-friendly 5K fun run takes place around the picturesque Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield. The race kicks off at the Lower Common and finishes at the same location. Runners of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate in this festive event. Costumes are optional, so feel free to don your best Halloween costume or just come as you are and enjoy the scenic route around the lake. Get ready for a ghoulishly good time! The GVSU Triathlon Club is thrilled to host our annual Halloween 5k on Saturday, October 31st, at 10:00 AM! This isn't your average race! Lace up your running shoes or your wizard's boots for a fun, themed event that's perfect for everyone. Whether you're a seasoned runner aiming for a personal best or just looking for a fun way to enjoy a fall morning, all are welcome to run, jog, or walk the course. Costumes are highly encouraged (but not required) to add to the festive spirit.

The Haunted Halloween 5K & 10K Run / Walk takes place in a wonderful, fully enclosed venue. 2 laps on the bike path around the lake equals a 5K, and 4 laps equals a 10K. The Start/Finish timing mat will provide a chip start time and record your total time. If you happen to lose count of your laps (hopefully, you can count to 2 or 4), your laps are also recorded. If you feel motivated, you can register for the 5K and 10K Combined event. Run the 5K first and then get in line to run the 10K. This is for running only and not walking. This is a fundraising event, and all proceeds will support the Spring Lake High School boys' volleyball program. While boys' volleyball has been going on for quite some time, it hasn't been sanctioned by the MHSAA until now. Spring Lake boys' volleyball has seen and enjoyed increased participation along with individual and team development. The boys' volleyball program is not school-funded, and as such, this is a Pay-To-Play school sports program. The individual, team, travel, supplies, and MANY other expenses are VERY significant for the season and off-season. This is a Halloween-themed event, and costumes are VERY welcome and encouraged. There will be an award for the best costume. Come in your costume, racing clothes, or casual clothes, and enjoy the Halloween environment. Overall awards for male and female will go 3 deep. Age group awards for male and female will go 3 deep in 5-year age increments up to our oldest participant. Registered participants will receive a long-sleeved "Dri-Fit" tech shirt. We are proud to say that the famed photography service, STELLAFLY, will be on site, shooting the event, capturing the environment, and individual photos. These photos will be available to our participants, free of charge. While we all love our fur babies, please keep your furry loved ones at home, as they are not allowed on the course. Running strollers are allowed, but we ask that you start at the back of the field. There will be 1 aid station located just beyond the Start/Finish line, providing water and Gatorade. This will allow you to replenish liquids multiple times. Post-race snacks for participants and volunteers will be provided. We can also provide team and club discounts. Put on your favorite fall running gear or your halloween costumes and run in a beautiful orchard setting. All Participants receive a T-shirt, a cup of cider, and a donut at the conclusion of the race. All Participants in the Kid's 1 mile run can hunt for Trick-or-Treat stations along the route! 5k route consists of three 1 mile loops that take you through our apple trees and out into our woodsy area for a conclusion back at the front of the property where fresh cider and donuts will be waiting to be devoured.

Looking for some spooky Halloween fun? Join us for the annual Queen City Trick or Trot 5K/ 10K & Kids Monster Mile on Saturday, October 31st. The Trick or Trot 10K also serves as the UP 10K Championship and participation adds 10 BONUS points to your point total for racers who have signed up for the 2026 Run The UP Challenge Race Series. All Participants in the 5K & 10K will receive a medal, custom socks and a free scoop of gelato courtesy of Provisions MQT. The Monster Mile participants will receive a Monster Mile medal. Proceeds from this race will benefit JJPacks and the Negaunee High School Athletics Booster Club. The course will begin on the 100 block of Washington Street, right in front of Yoop-phoria, Digs and Richardson Jewelers! Participants will race down Washington Street, crossing Front Street and running Past Iron Bay Restaurant & Drinkery, taking a right onto lakeshore blvd and gradually making their way onto the bike path prior to hitting Main Street. Once they approach the bike path they will head South on the Bike Path towards Harvey. The 5K turnaround will be indicated with signage and will be located before the Carp River Bridge. The 10K turnaround will be located on the bike path before the Michigan Welcome Center and will be indicated by an Aid Station. Both races will finish on the bike path between Spring Street and Baraga Avenue. The Kids Monster Mile will begin on the bike path (In front of the Thill's Parking Lot that coincides with the Old Ore Dock), and will head north on the bike path, turning around just after the entrance to lower harbor park. Come on out and join us for the newest Michigan Trail Experience race. Experience a beautiful 4.167 mile loop through Sleepy Hollow State Park. The park contains over 2,600 acres including a river winding its way through the woods. The course will take you through prairie grass fields, hardwood forest, and stands of Pine trees. This race is a 12hr Back Yard Ultra, last man standing rules, with an option to do the single lap. Elevation gain 151ft The single lap option will start at 9:00am. This race will be chip timed, with live results. This will be one loop around the BYU course. The 12hr option will start at 9:00am. All runners will start the loop at the top of the hour and must complete the lap within the hour. Top of the next hour runners start next lap. If a runner doesn't report and start at the top of the hour the runner is out. If you complete the 12hrs you will have done 50miles. A headlamp is required for the last couple of laps sunset is 6:21pm. This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Go for the Gold Rochester fundraiser supporting Brighter, Tomorrows, Inc, , a non-profit outreach to families who have been touched by childhood cancer. This year we are excited to welcome you back to Cascade Park where we will host an event that offers both in person and virtual options including a 5k and 10k run, 3k Family Walk, and also Children's Races at the Cascade Lakeside Building area on October 31st! During Covid we were so appreciative of those of you who supported us via a virtual race from across the US that we have decided to continue the virtual race and walk options! This annual event provides critical funding allowing us to support families who suddenly find themselves on a childhood cancer journey. The comfort Brighter Tomorrows’ families feel from the support, connection and friendship received is impactful and that support continues beyond the treatment journey well into the future. We sincerely appreciate the compassion, volunteer efforts and financial donations that have been given to Brighter Tomorrows and extend our heartfelt thanks to friends, families, our business colleagues, and our communities that have joined our mission. This year we have invited a Brighter Tomorrows family from years back to join us, Randy and Ree Erickson. They formed a 501(c)(3) to provide affordable apartments and support for out of town families with immuno-compromised children receiving cancer treatment or an organ transplant at Mayo Clinic Rochester. Cy's Place is named after their son Silas, an amazing little boy who battled cancer with incredible courage however he sadly lost the battle in late 2007. They have purchased a 9 acre lot in Rochester with the dream of creating apartments that will be a place of rest, comfort, and care for many families in the years ahead. You can help by donating to Brighter Tomorrows, Inc. and/or Cy's Place and by sharing this page on social media with all those you care about! And of course, if you sign up to run or walk in person or virtually all proceeds from this event go to benefit families on the childhood cancer journey served by both Brighter Tomorrows and Cy's Place! US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. This 5k run/walk benefits the Saint Anne’s Guild women's group at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. This group hosts several youth and family events throughout the year. Additionally, half of the proceeds from the run will go to LifeHouse Crisis Pregnancy Center in Springfield, MO. The course will leave the St. Joseph the Worker’s rear parking lot off Bluff Drive and head west across NN Hwy. The route passes Ozark High School then jumps onto the City of Ozark's paved trail system and takes runners through the tunnel under Jackson Street. The course takes hard right and up to the turn around point in front of First Baptist Ozark. It's back the way you came including that fun uphill to the finish line back at St. Joseph the Worker. We will have hot coffee and pancakes (Thanks to our Knights of Columbus) waiting for you back in our Parish Hall. This year we will incorporate a COSTUME CONTEST as the race day falls on All Hallows Eve! We will have a prize for the best Saint Costume since All Saints Day follows All Hallows Eve. Who says the witchy fun has to end after Witches in Cottleville? ​Keep the magic going the following weekend with Run Witch Run, a spellbinding race through the trails of Legacy Park in Cottleville, Missouri! ​Choose your potion: a 1-mile dash, 5K, or 10K broomstick cruise. Run it, walk it, or fly your way to the finish line—this festive fall race is open to magical beings of all paces and abilities. ​And don’t leave your littlest witches and wizards at home! We’ll also have a Kids Dash, complete with CANDY waiting for them at the finish! No tricks here—just treats! Kids will start near the adult race starting area and make their way around the course while parents can keep them in sight the entire time. And for the big finish? The Skippo began in 2009 as a 20k trail race in beautiful Castlewood State Park that featured two 10k loops on a fairly flat course except, of course, for the famous stairs! In 2011, we wanted to involve as many runners as possible so we added two more options, a 10k and a 30k. The Skippo then evolved into a two-day format in order to accommodate growth and popularity. In 2019 the 20k was changed to a Half-Marathon, and thus the modern day SKIPPO was born. Consider entering the team competition for the Skippo Saturday 10k! Montana Events Foundation is excited to host the 9th Annual Run The Boo 5K & Kids Race in Dillon, Montana. This is a Halloween themed race so dress up in your best costumes and run with us. The 5K & Kids Race will start and finish at the Beaverhead Brewing Company. The race is a fundraiser for Montana Events Foundation Scholarship. All of the money raised through registrations will be donated to the University of Montana Western Foundation and each year we will give out scholarships to qualifying UMW students. We are excited to see all the racers in their costumes. Please read all of the information below. PACKET PICK-UP is morning of race- October 31, 2026- 9-10AM at Beaverhead Brewing Company- 218 S. Montana St. Dillon, Montana. All participants must check in before the race to get a timing bib. Please plan ahead and allow enough time to check in and warm up for the race. 5k starts at 10AM - 5K starts and finishes at Beaverhead Brewing Company. The course will be on the streets of Dillon. Kids Race starts at 11AM - Kids Race (1 mile) will start at 11AM at Beaverhead Brewing Company and Finish at Beaverhead Brewing Company. The route will go to North Reeder Street and turn right to Pig Tail Trail and wrap around to W Bannack St. to Montana St. and Finish at Beaverhead Brewing Company. Award Ceremony will be around 11:30AM, when the Kids Race has finished. The course will be marked with orange arrows, orange cones and orange painted streets. We have a no dog policy on the course. This is a fundraiser for Montana Tech's Society of Women Engineers. The route will be around Blacktail Loop which provides a relatively flat asphalt terrain, scenic views, and an easy to navigate course. Since October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, half of our proceeds will be donated to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Shirts will be given to the first 15 participants!

Come support the Malcolm FFA Chapter at our Halloween Fun Run on Saturday, October 31st! Choose from a Kids 1-Mile Candy Run, Adult 1-Mile Run/Walk, or Adult 5K Run/Walk. Costumes are encouraged! The Kids 1-Mile Candy Run is open to children ages 12 and under and begins at 9:00 a.m. The route takes place around the Malcolm Public Schools campus, with Malcolm FFA members stationed along the course handing out candy to participants. Each registered child will receive a race T-shirt and goodie bag at the end of the run. Parents may accompany their child during the Kids Candy Run at no charge; however, accompanying adults will not receive a race T-shirt or goodie bag. The Adult 1-Mile Run/Walk and Adult 5K Run/Walk begin at 9:30 a.m. Both races start at Malcolm High School. The 5K route includes both pavement and gravel roads. Registration costs: Kids 1-Mile Candy Run: $15 Adult 1-Mile Run/Walk: $20 Adult 5K Run/Walk: $25 Check-in and packet pickup will take place at Malcolm High School beginning at 8:00 a.m. Scheels gift cards will be awarded to the first-place male and first-place female finishers in the 5K, along with the first-place finisher in the adult one-mile race.
