Here’s a summary of what participants can expect: Location and Setting: Camp hart is a rustic Boy Scout camp located along the Unami Creek, offering a natural and preserved open space environment.Trail Description: The trails primarily consist of mostly  double track technical trails with some single-track sections. Runners will encounter various natural elements such as tree roots, rocks, dirt, mud, and plenty of shade as they navigate through the course. Loop distances are expected to be around 6.2 miles, depending on trail conditions. Note course is subject to change if the sale of one of the camps goes through. Terrain and Elevation: The course includes hills, providing a challenge. This elevation change will add to the scenic and varied nature of the race. Aid Station and Refreshments: There will be one aid station offering an assortment of carbohydrates, fruits, water, Gatorade, and soda. The September 11th National Memorial Trail is honored to host its 8th annual Tour de Trail: Flight 93 National Memorial event in 2026, marking the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. This commemorative bike ride travels through the scenic Laurel Highlands region of Pennsylvania, and includes a meaningful loop through the grounds of the Flight 93 National Memorial. Please join us on Saturday, September 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm for a 24-mile ride beginning in Berlin, PA, traveling to the Flight 93 National Memorial, and back. Holding this ride on September 12 is quite significant. While September 11 is a day of remembrance and reflection, September 12 represents the day our nation came together and made the commitment to Never Forget. In 2021, we dedicated the race to Ron Shields as he was always involved with running either with the road runners and help restart and coach the cross-country team at West Perry.  In honor of him, we have renamed the Perry 5000 the Ron Shields Perry 5000. The 5k starts at 9:30am and the mile walk, and fun runs starts after the 5k is finished. Stick around afterwards for the street fair.

The historic Camptown races offers a challenge like no other. The race is approximately 10k in length and offers both road and trail. The trail section is approximately 2.8 miles long and is technical! Be prepared for tree roots, loose rocks, and a creek crossing. Earn your place in history by conquering this challenging course! This year we are adding a 5k option to the Camptown Races.  Transportation will be provided to the start of the 5k.

The Mercy Center for Women is excited to announce our 6th annual Pedal for Mercy cycling event! The Dwell Student Ministry Camps 5k trail race through Sharon Woods Metro Park, to benefit students from Dwell Community Church to attend a life-changing summer camp with their peers. This is a race to the benefit of middle and high school students looking at attend summer camps with friends through Dwell Community Church. These life-changing trips are dearly loved by students but many need assistance to be able to afford them. During these week-long camps, students experience many things for the first time -- visiting a large, outdoor, beautiful space outside of the state with the autonomy to explore & enjoy nature, building deep spiritual friendships, and exploring what they think about God. Join us at the 2nd annual Hebron Pie Festival 5K on September 12th, 2026 at 8AM in Hebron, OH. The course is a flat and fast out and back along the Ohio Canal Greenway paved path. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 overall male and female, and top 3 male and female per age group.

This is a 5K Run/Walk Event to raise money for Operation Stand Down in Rhode Island, which raises money for struggling and homeless veterans. We also will be raising funds for our core mission to help PTSD veterans and their families.  There is a $5 registration discount for military and first responders. This community event benefits pediatric cancer initiatives and begins at 10 a.m. Parking will be at the Huddle Road Parking lot And the 5K will start at the fairground, and you can take the road to Oberhaus Park, which is about a mile away. Once at the park, participants can complete an additional three miles using the park sidewalk before returning to the fairgrounds. In addition to the walk, the day will include a car show hosted by the River City Rodders, inflatables for children, food trucks, and a Touch A Truck experience. September 13, 2025: ALLEGHENY TRAILRUNNERS INC. IS PROUD TO PRESENT THE 14TH ANNUAL ROCK ’N THE KNOB – PA’S HIGHEST RACE. What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk?The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001, after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! This USATF-certified race takes place on the scenic Doodle Trail and is flat and fast!  It is an out-and-back course beginning and ending at United Wesleyan Church 738 Rice Road Easley SC 29640.  The race begins at 8 am and awards will begin at 9 am.  All proceeds go to Alabaster House in Easley.   Registration is $30.   Note: If you need to change your shirt selection, go to your profile, select Run for Missions 5k from your races, choose Manage Registration, and click "Giveaway."
