Since 2017, we have partnered with the Jeffersonville Police Department to hold an annual community event to raise money for our local law enforcement, the Back Your Blue 5K.  Every year , the event is held down at the Big Four Station in Downtown Jeffersonville with food, activities, and demonstrations for everyone to experience. Local businesses and members of the community sponsor the event, which helps raise funds for the officers of the Jeffersonville Police Department.  The event is open to anyone who wants to participate, run or walk.

Join us for the third year of this race on our beautiful course. The 3rd annual MYPath 5k will take place on Saturday, September 12th at 8:30 am.  The race will start and finish at the Owen County Fairgrounds and will travel over portions of the MYPath trail before returning to town. This is a flat, fast course that uses both paved and unpaved sections of MYPath. It's a beautiful route along the White River, over a wonderful bridge, and through the Tree Tube Trail. The Patriots Run was founded in 2002 in the wake of the September 11th terrorist attacks on America. The purpose of this multi-race event is to thank and honor all who serve; our military, fire, police, first responders, and their families. It is a race created by patriots, for patriots, supporting those who daily sacrifice for the freedom and safety we enjoy in our great country. What is a Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk?The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11,2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. Racers will enjoy hundreds of acres of nature, hiking, and biking trails, as well as beautifully preserved prairie grasslands. The park sits on the western edge of Johnson County, known to its most avid patrons as the "gem" of western Johnson County. The race will happen rain or shine, so ensure you are prepared for any type of weather. Looking for a little adventure? Check out the 2-hour race that is all on foot (TREKKING ONLY) and open to solos and teams. Have a bike and ready to crush the mountain bike trails? Check out the 6-hour race that will have racers trekking, biking, and paddling their way through the park. The team that completes all the checkpoints (or more than other teams) with the fastest time will win the race.  2-hour racers will trek to all of their checkpoints and may encounter a few extra challenges along the way. 3rd Annual "Miles 4 Moore" Pinecone 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run September 12, 2026 Purpose: The "Miles 4 Moore" Pinecone 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run will raise money for the Whispering Pines Veterans Memorial while connecting the local community and bringing awareness to a wellness lifestyle. Welcome to Adventure Racing!  The Greenhorn AR, now in our 11th edition, was created to offer competitors a gateway into the sport of adventure racing. This 4 hour sprint adventure race was designed with the beginner in mind, but fun for everyone no matter the skill or experience level! While there is significant challenge built in, this event is fun and highly achievable for the novice racer. The navigation is straight forward and the maps that we provide are excellent. 5k Info The Rotary Club of Table Rock Lake will host The Great Pickle Race and Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, September 12 at Wolf Pack Park in Reeds Spring! The race is a 5k. We'll also have a one-mile fun run. The 5k will take place in the wooded trails of Wolf Pack Park. The one-mile fun run will take place on pavement. Each participant will receive a t-shirt (if registered by September 3). Registrations on September 4 or later will receive a shirt if there are any left. We'll have water and snacks available. For the 5k, we'll have medals for the top three male and female finishers in each age group. The age groups are 18 and under, 19-45, and 46 and older. The youngest finisher and the oldest finisher will also be recognized. For the fun run, the top three overall finishers will receive medals. In December of 2021, Captain Andrew Allman was suddenly and abruptly diagnosed with stage four gastric adenocarcinoma, a cancer attributed to his exposure to burn pits from his deployment with the U.S. Army to Baghdad, Iraq eleven years prior. Andrew valiantly fought this aggressive cancer for seven months. Unfortunately, on Father’s Day, June 19 of 2022, he passed away, leaving behind his wife of almost fourteen years, Sarah, and their three school-aged children. Despite the aggressiveness of the cancer and the harsh side effects of the chemotherapy, Andrew resolved to fight with everything he had. At the time of his diagnosis, he was bedridden, but perseverance and determination allowed him to regain some strength and he was able to go on walks during his "rally-period." At one point, he managed to walk three miles in one day with Sarah by his side. What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk?The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001, after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! Livingston County Veteran Services and Howell Recreation present the fourth annual 9/11 “Never Forget 5K Trail Run/Walk.”  Join us at Fillmore County Park on September 12th at 9 am as we remember those who lost their lives that day, as well as our military veterans and first responders who went into harm’s way as a result of the attack.
