The fifth annual Castle Run for Hope, presented by CommQuest & Alliance Rotary, takes place on Monday, September 7th, 2026.   Both organizations share a dedication to build and maintain a healthy community.  CommQuest's mission is one of saving lives by providing collaborative care and advocacy for people through three pillars of service:  mental health, addiction recovery and social support.  Serving tens of thousands of people with social, emotional, and addiction issues survive and live their best lives.   - Race day registration takes place beginning at 8:00am at Glamorgan Castle.  The address is:  200 Glamorgan Street, Alliance, OH 44601. - The chip-timed 5K begins at 9:30am at Glamorgan Castle.    - Participants receive a unique soft-blend shirt and custom finisher medal!   -Only those participants registered by August 21st are guaranteed a shirt. The 97th Annual Oceanside Pier Swim is set to take place on September 7, 2026, continuing a cherished tradition that began in 1929. Swimmers of all ages are invited to participate in this one-mile swim around the iconic Oceanside Pier, the longest wooden pier on the West Coast.  Hosted by local organization, Oceanside Masters Swim Club, the club hopes to grow Oceanside Aquatics and community from youth to adulthood. Proceeds from the swim will benefit youth swim programs, high school swim teams, adult swim teams and our local first responders.

Celebrate the last blast of summer at the Labor Day Half Marathon. Sweat your socks off and let summer have its last hooray at Parker’s Salisbury Park, just a few miles southeast of Denver. There’s a distance to meet every taste with a half marathon, 10K and 5K. The race travels along the scenic banks of the Cherry Creek. This flat and fast course just might propel you to a new personal record! And if you’re in it just for the fun, well, we totally catch your drift. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome.

The Running Series is excited to have the Oak Creek No Fun Run on our schedule again! Please join us in remembering long-time Running Series competitor Larry Brooks, a former organizer of the Oak Creek No Fun Run. This 5K run will take you through the streets of Oak Creek, looping through the scenic Oak Creek Mountain Park, finishing downtown just before the annual Oak Creek Labor Day Parade. Net proceeds from the even will benefit the Colorado Alzheimers Association.

One of Tulsa's oldest Trail races - dating way back to 2004!  A Labor Day tradition. Two race distances to choose from - a challenging 5 mile course or the shorter and less technical 2 mile course.  Both races start and finish at the lower parking lot of Turkey Mountain.  All entrants will receive a race t-shirt as well as a finisher medal for each race.  Escape is the THIRD (and final) race in our annual year long series of trail races at Turkey Mountain - called the "Turkey Triple." Wrap up the annual Breathitt County Honey Festival by coming out to participate in the 2026 Honey Run, presented by the Breathitt County Cooperative Extension Office and Juniper Health! Imagine for a moment - the sounds of seagulls flying above, ferry boat horns and waves crashing on the shoreline below, views of Mackinac Island and vast Great Lakes Vistas alongside you, the sun rising and washing the sky with glorious shades of orange...this is the Labor Day Mackinac Bridge Run, and it is the only running event on the Mackinac Bridge.This non-competitive run is organized by Michigan Fitness Foundation and the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports with support from the Mackinac Bridge Authority and Michigan Department of Transportation. The Annual Greene Labor Day 5k is a road race that is part of an end-of-summer family-oriented field day held in Greene. All runners & walkers are welcome.  Time:  Check-in 8:00-8:45am. Join us for part two of our campaign for 9/11/2026. On the morning of 08 September after a reading honoring the 184 people whose lives where lost at the Pentagon 25 years ago, our Tribute Run will continue as we make our way to NYC. A team of 30 runners from Old Town Run Club and Murphy's Run Club, will have run 170 miles over a two-day period from the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville PA, carrying a flag that will continue all the way to New York. Day 1 will have us tackling 110 miles passing through DC, heading north through Maryland into the hills in PA, where we will bed down for the night in Mountville PA. Day 2 has us up at the crack of dawn covering 69 miles and finishing up in time for drinks and dinner in Skippack PA. Another overnight in Kulpsville PA. Day3 will be an 87 mile affair finally heading east through NJ and across the Goethals Bridge arriving in Staten Island.
