Iconic Open Water Swim held in La Jolla, California the first Sunday after Labor almost every year since 1916.  There are four swim events available on race day.  250 Meter kids race "Garibaldi Grommets"1 Mile "Sea Lions"3 Mile "Leopard Sharks"4 Mile "Whole Enchilada" Swimmers compete in both the 1 mile & 3 mile events  - there is about an hour between the 2 swims. All swimmers receive an event t-shirt. All finishers receive a finisher's medal. There are Age Group Medals awarded that follow U.S. Masters Swimming age brackets. For the kids race it is by individual year. 8 year olds will only be competing with 8 years etc up through 12 years of age.

What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk?The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001, after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! Climbing Details  How long is the T2T Tower Climb at 150 N. Riverside Drive?  You will be starting at the park next to the building at ground level and climbing up to the 50th floor How many steps are there per flight?  The number of steps varies per flight.  Can I climb more than one time up?  Yes, after your first climb, please take the elevator down to the first level. Once every wave has been sent off, there may be an opportunity to have a second, untimed climb.   Will there be medical assistance if necessary? There will be medics on the premises in the event of an emergency. The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen. TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. This will be a chip timed hill climb starting at the San Joaquin River Trailhead in the South Finegold picnic area (Millerton Lk SRA; end of Sky Harbor Rd) and finishing at the top of Pincushion Mountain. The River Run 2026 is a unique experience that meanders through a working sand and gravel quarry.  The events take you inside the Southside Sand and Gravel Quarry to see the working quarry site, the banks of the San Benito River, specialized equipment that processes the rock, and beautiful natural surroundings. The Tri Community Tri is a multi-distance triathlon in a rural community.  The quaint little town of Pima is located in Southeastern Arizona.  With a population of about 3000, there are few cars on the road to disturb racers.  The sprint swim is 425 yards lap swim in the public pool located near the center of town. The bike portion of the race heads out of town where wildlife is present and a beautiful 15 mile ride  is welcomed with rolling hills.  Racers will then see just how quaint our town is as they meander through the neighborhoods on a 5K run.  Three deep medals will be given to an overall male and female winners as well as the top three finishers in each 5 year age bracket, male and female. THE Denver 5k! Denver's Iconic Sloan Lake is the setting for the return of 'THE Denver 5k'. Celebrate with friends and family as you race around the lake in the shadow of Denver's skyline. Group pricing applies; youth and senior pricing are offered as well! Held at the start of September, THE Denver 5k is the perfect 'cool down' to the racing season!   Overall awards will be awarded based on gun time. Come race with us at beautiful Lake Nighthorse in Durango, Colorado. The Swim takes place in this gorgeous lake. The Bike course includes some challenging climbs, while the Run course is rolling on mostly natural dirt/gravel surface with spectacular views of the lake. The Olympic course is two laps of the Sprint course for all disciplines.

The Black Squirrel Half Marathon will take place on the wonderful trails of Lory State Park to the northeast of Fort Collins, Colorado. The half marathon course offers a tour of the outer boundaries of Lory State Park, providing breathtaking views to the south and east of Horsetooth Reservoir, Fort Collins and the Great Plains; and to the West of the awe-inspiring Rocky Mountain swell. The race covers a variety of terrain, all of which is runnable although technical in places. After a mile of dirt roads, the course ascends a little under four miles and 1,500 feet to the apex at 7,000 feet on Lory’s west ridge. The views are well worth the climb. A bomber descent follows, leaving three and a half miles of beautiful, gently rolling hardpacked singletrack into the finish. Named in memory of an outstanding Kiwanian, Dr. Robert "Bob" Reeves, Bob, also known as Woody to his close friends, exemplified many great attributes of Kiwanis International. A club member for over 46 years, he served his community with much enthusiasm and benevolence. As a retired Professor of Physical Education with the University of West Georgia, fitness trainer, ballroom dance instructor, and Sunday School teacher, he was an active volunteer for many community, civic, and church related events and organizations. Your support of the Carrollton Kiwanis Club 11th Annual Bob Reeves Memorial 5K Race will help make a difference in the lives of children, one child at a time, in the Carroll County Area. Get Moving For Mental Health Your participation will support the evidence-based treatment programs at Skyland Trail and help remove financial barriers for families in need.  Young people are particularly experiencing depression and anxiety and seeking mental health services at alarming rates. The U.S. surgeon general has warned that young people are facing “devastating” mental health effects as a result of the challenges experienced by their generation, including the pandemic. Raising funds through the Skyland Trail 5k will make a difference in the lives of teens and their families. This family-friendly event is open to all. Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. The Skyland Trail 5K Run/Walk will be a chipped-timed event and an official qualifier for the 2027 AJC Peachtree Road Race. Registration is closed      Tugaloo State Park OLYMPIC: 1.5K SWIM, 42K BIKE, 10K RUN SPRINT: 500 YARD SWIM, 14 MILE BIKE, 5K RUN    Club Team Competition - In order for you club to be recognized when registering you must provide your club team name or create a club team. A club team must consist of three or more participants.  All members must be registered for the same distance.  A club may have as many teams as they want. Individuals will race both in the team club category and as an age group participant.  Team winners will be calculated based on points earned for age group finish position.

DAY OF REGISTRATION WILL OPEN at 7:45am SATURDAY. The 5k event will be returning to the Oregon City High School Cross Country Course this year. Open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. The terrain is stroller friendly: short grass, packed gravel and a new dirt trail though a wooded area. All entrants receive the 2026 Honey Run shirt. The best SWAG BAGS ever this year!!! The first 200 runners to register online receive the custom SWAG BAG full of local gifts. Anniversary of the events and tragedy of 9/11.  Held Saturday morning, September 12th, 2026 in Downtown Cartersville, GA the “9/11 Run to Remember” 5K represents a celebration of the herculean efforts of all of the first responders from that unforgettable day 24 years ago. The Joe LaRocco 5k and Elementary School 1k Run are a part of the Knights Crossing Cross Country Invitational hosted by Cave Spring High School. These courses are flat, fast, and 100% grass/gravel. Based on a cartoon by Idaho's own Steve Moore, you begin and end at the same time - the start and finish line are one in the same.  This event will feature all of the trappings of a marathon, only without the running.  You will receive a bib number, have water cups handed to you as you cross the finish line, and be treated with fresh fruit and massages when you finish - just like the big marathons.  After the race is over (which is right away), you will be entertained by professional cartoonists, music, food trucks and refreshments...and even award presentations (you will be getting a first place ribbon so make sure you get your picture on the winner's stand!).  This is a family friendly event, and all proceeds go to veterans being supported by the Wyakin Foundation (www.wyakin.org).   Virtual event: Can't make it to Boise to celebrate with us? ORRRC's rich history with ultra trail races starts with this one! Come run through one of the best MetroParks in Montgomery county. This race will take you through cedar forests, open prairies, alongside Twin Creek, through a span of old-growth forests, and up and down some of the most scenic hills and peaceful valleys around. A great course for anyone looking to challenge their skill and endurance at the 50k distance. 2nd year for the TWO-PERSON 50k RELAY!
