Bluebird Run and Walk for Brookie B

Remember all the hugs and handshakes you’ve had on Labor Day mornings since 2015 at the Bluebird Run and Walk for Brookie B? Let’s do it again. If you’ve just found out about us, you don’t want to miss this. Our 5K trail course is one of the most beautiful and challenging in Tallahassee. Wide multi-use trails make a loop through the greenway, starting and ending at the trailhead. Past participants have said, “You’ll never forget your first Bluebird.”  Our 1 Mile Fun Run course is unique with an out-and-back canopy trail that crosses the Lafayette Heritage Canopy Bridge. A treat for runners and walkers alike, there is a water station at the turnaround on the other side of the bridge.  A huge tent with party lights will welcome you to the greenway as registration begins at 7:00 am. There will be sports drinks, bottled water, watermelon, bananas and an assortment of treats including sno-cones. Be sure to visit Memory Lane, a tribute to all the loved ones we have lost to suicide.
