Join us on Saturday, August 15 in downtown Indianapolis for the 2026 Race Away From Domestic Violence 5k, benefiting the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV). This impactful 5k aims to raise awareness of the devastating affects that domestic violence has on our families and communities.  ICADV works for the prevention and elimination of domestic violence – until the violence ends.  Over the past 22 years, ICADV has raised over $400,000 to support survivors with resources and programs that increase their safety and stability including legal, housing and economic supports.  Participants can run, walk or roll through a route beginning at the IUI Michael A. Carroll Stadium, which offers beautiful views of the White River and Indianapolis Zoo. The 5K course is accessible and allows individuals of all ages and abilities to participate. 2026 Hull of a Race for Parkinson’s                                             Saturday, August 15th In 2025, Hull of a Race Sets Fundraising Record, Donating A Historic $26,000 To the St. Louis Area American Parkinson Disease Association. We also had 241 runners registered for our race! We also made many improvements to help accommodate and welcome our Parkinson’s Heroes who joined us for the race. We offered a more comfortable viewing area with a tent, seating, cooling fans (which helped as it was a toasty day) and specific parking near the start/finish line, so they had an exciting view! In 2026 we look forward to another fantastic opportunity to raise money for the American Parkinson’s Disease Association research. We will continue to provide memorial or honor name badges for runners to wear with names of our Parkinson’s heroes. The Waterloo Library & Historical Society presents the 2026 Bookish 5k & the Cookie Fun Run (If You Give A Pig A Party)!   Join us for our 3rd Annual Bookish 5K: Stories in Stride event with a different theme for this year. 2026’s 5k theme is TBD. Come join the South Side cross country and track teams for our 3rd annual 5K on our South Side campus in Hookstown, PA.  This sunset fun run will help us all close out the summer and get ready for school to begin.  This run will be part cross country trail, part track, and also through our school grounds.  There are no public roads or traffic, making it a great run for kids and families.  Race will be followed by fun family activities. Join us for the 1st Annual “Love, Jill” Memorial Race, a 5K charity run and 1-mile walk through the streets of Beaver along the beautiful Ohio River on August 15, 2026. This event is held in loving memory of Jill Renee Littler, who passed away on September 22, 2025, after a courageous battle with oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma. Jill’s strength was forged long before her cancer diagnosis. At just 15 years old, she was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, a fight she carried with her for 36 years. Through countless surgeries, hospital stays, treatments, and daily challenges, Jill faced her illness with quiet resilience, grit, and grace—never allowing it to define her or diminish the love she gave to others. In early 2025, Jill was diagnosed with oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma. She approached this battle with the same determination and grace that defined her life. This event is held in loving memory of Jill Renee Littler, who passed away on September 22, 2025, after a courageous battle with oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma. Jill’s strength was forged long before her cancer diagnosis. At just 15 years old, she was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, a fight she carried with her for 36 years. Through countless surgeries, hospital stays, treatments, and daily challenges, Jill faced her illness with quiet resilience, grit, and grace—never allowing it to define her or diminish the love she gave to others. The Ed Anacker Bridger Ridge Run is a remote and aesthetic ~20 mile foot-race along the crest of the Bridger Mountains, near Bozeman in Southwest Montana.  It is a not-for-profit event enabled by about as many volunteers as participants.    The Bridger Ridge Run is put on & sponsored by the Big Sky Wind Drinkers, which is a premier running club for runners of all ages and abilities.  Some videos, photos, and history of this event can be found on this Big Sky Wind Drinkers webpage.   Remote and Technical! Essentially the entire route involves unstable footing, challenging ascents, brutal descents, and unpredictable weather along an exposed ridge.  Experience with mountain running is important.     No part of the route can be accessed by a road.  All supplies, including water, are hauled to Aid Stations through human volunteering.  Aid Stations will carefully track each participant's progress, and will have limited medical teams, supplies, and snacks.  Except for water, we expect
