The Hickory Hustle 5K & 10K Run and Kids Run is back for 2026! Join us in Colfax, Indiana during Ole Hickory Days beginning with a fish fry on Friday, July 31st and continuing Saturday, August 1st, 2026.  The 5K and 10K on Saturday, August 1st begins at 8:30am and includes a Kids Run beginning at 9:00am. All participants who sign up by July 12th are guaranteed a shirt.  The theme of the race this year is in memory of Joe Buedel, a long time resident of Colfax, an Elder and Youth Leader at Colfax Christian Church and a member of the Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department as a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT. Joe had been diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) which is a nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord and in July of 2025, after a long fight with ALS, Joe went home to be with his Lord and Savior. This 26.2 mile marathon trail run will take place on the single track dirt trails along with some sections of mowed meadow trails in the rolling hills of Moorehead Park.  Participants can expect challenging hills and beautiful scenery while running well-marked and maintained trails. You will be running on some old stage coach trails that will take you past the first homestead which served as the stage coach stop, church, and doctor/hospital. Pay your respects as you visit the cemetery of our first settlers, check out some old farm equipment, visit an old train depot, and run past a one room school house.  This race will consist of three 8.8 mile loops with the option of signing up for the 1/3 mazathon which consists of one loop for 8.8 miles, the 2/3 mazathon which consists of two loops for 17.6 miles, or the full mazathon which consists of 3 loops for 26.2 miles.  Finisher medals will be awarded to all distances for Mazathon finishers. In both memory and honor of William “Wild Bill” Sonner, Seven Oaks and the Stonehenge HOA is proud to hold our fifth annual Wild Bill 5k in 2025. Wild Bill was a coach, mentor and community leader in Raleigh for decades. The same passion that made Wild Bill an All-American athlete at NC State, made him a beloved Raleigh fixture for nearly 70 years. While his forte was swimming, Wild Bill was well known for running daily, no matter how hot the summer days got. Wild Bill was relentless and we wish to harness that energy to raise money for good causes in his honor. This race (Walkers are welcome!) is all about raising money for great organizations in the Mohawk Valley and surrounding area.  The motivation for this race is to raise money for autism awareness.  All money raised will be donated to Kelberman.  Donations will also be made to the Trenton Fish and Game Club and the Utica Road Runners for their support. The Smith Point Triathlon starts at Smith Point County Park, with a fast 500 meter Narrow Bay swim and continues on to a flat and fast 10.2 mile bike ride over the Smith Point Bridge (TWO LOOPS THIS YEAR), followed by a scenic 5K run over the bridge ending at the Atlantic Ocean. The bike course will now be two loops on William Floyd Parkway. The safety and satisfaction of our athletes are always our top priorities. Tulsa Area Triathletes is excited for 2026's Chris Brown Tulsa Duathlon! Join us on Sunday August 2nd, 2026 at Mohawk Park in Tulsa, OK. The Chris Brown Duathlon is a great introduction to multi-sport events for beginners. It is also a challenging opportunity for experienced and competitive athletes. The Chris Brown Duathlon includes a 5km road run, 25km road bike, and another 5km road run. The event is held at Mohawk Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The run course is fast and flat on a closed paved road within Mohawk Park. The bike course is relatively flat with only a few rolling hills along the city streets of Tulsa. Join the Licking Heights Hornets on August 2, 2026, for our third annual Licking Heights Hornets 5K! We are raising funds to support the Licking Heights Music and Sports programs! Supporters of all programs are welcome. The 5k race event will start at 8 AM, followed by the 1.65-mile Family Fun Run at 8:05 AM. If you are unable to attend the in-person event but would like to support the programs, please consider our virtual event, which will run from August 2 through August 9! The run will be around the flat, paved, & scenic Licking Heights campus, starting and ending on the fantastic track at Hornets Field!

The Little Miami Half Marathon and 10K is a flat and fast scenic half marathon run along the banks of the Little Miami River. Are you training for a fall marathon or half marathon? This race is a perfect tune-up! Plus, the entire course is run on a shaded bike path, which is a big bonus during Ohio’s humid summer months! The race starts and finishes in Morrow, OH, just a few miles east of King’s Island, and travels through South Lebanon and Kings Mills. The swimming portion will be conducted in a 25-meter lap swimming pool. The bike and run will be outside. Our goal is to provide this fun physical activity for kids up to 15 years of age. Swim takes place in Lima Lake Reservoir. The swim is a loop. 15 mile bike is a rolling, fast course on country roads in a large rectangle. Runs are on the river walk. All Star Athletes Annual Color Run is a fun run that is perfect for people of all ages. Each participant will receive a white All Star Athletes (ASA) t-shirt to wear during the run which will enhance the fun of getting doused with colorful powder at every marker. Once the race is over, the fun continues at the Finish Festival, a larger-than-life party equipped with music, dancing, and other activities.
