Soroptimist Stop Human Trafficking 5k

Chico, CA
We are hosting our 4th annual 5k Run April 19th, 2026! This Run will be Chip Timed by Under the Sun Events. We are very excited to launch this run again this year. As last year, our efforts in part benefit a worldwide issue that we feel strongly about. Human trafficking is a serious global issue that affects millions of people across all ages, genders, and communities. It involves the exploitation of individuals through force, fraud, or coercion for purposes such as forced labor or sexual exploitation. Trafficking often occurs in plain sight, making awareness and education critical tools in prevention. This event aims to raise awareness, share knowledge, and empower our community to recognize the signs of human trafficking and take action. By coming together, we can help protect vulnerable individuals, support survivors, and work toward a future where exploitation has no place.
