This is a family and beginner friendly five mile run through the trails of Cherokee Park.  We'll start at Hogan's Fountain and make our way around the park.  When you think of Kentucky Cryptids, particularly in the Louisville area, what is one of the most well known....GOATMAN! The Goatman is a cryptid who is said to be half-man, half-goat. Although his origins are unknown, the most popular origin story is that he had once been a scientist who worked at Beltsville Agriculture Research Center in Maryland, who experimented on goats. Unfortunately, during one of these experiments, he was mutated into a goat/human hybrid, and went insane. The Delta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma will be hosting its 5th Annual 5K for Kappie! This event is being held in honor of our late sorority sister, Catherine Williams, who passed away on June 2nd, 2020 after a courageous 13-month battle with osteosarcoma. Catherine Williams was 18 years old, and a recent graduate of North Atlanta High School. She was admitted to and excited to attend the University of Georgia in the fall of 2020. In the week before her death, Catherine accepted an early bid and was initiated into the Delta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma as a double legacy. All proceeds from this event will go to CURE Childhood Cancer, a non-profit organization whose mission is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through funding targeted research while supporting patients and their families devastated by a childhood cancer diagnosis.  We look forward to this opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary life of Catherine Williams.

The race will be held on April 19th, 2026 at Loganville Christian Academy’s XC course. Engineers Without Borders UIUC is a student-led nonprofit that builds a better world by empowering communities to meet their basic human needs while equipping students to solve the world's most pressing challenges. We realize this mission through projects such as bridges, water and wastewater systems, and electrical systems. Our chapter is currently working on projects in the United States, Rwanda, and Malawi. I Raced The Law 5K and Color Run

The 3rd Annual I Raced The Law 5k and Color Run* is raising money for the Oswego Public Safety Cadets Post #1833. Proceeds from this race will go towards paying for equipment, training, and towards lowering the cost for participation in the 2027 Public Safety Cadets Summer Showdown. Race against a Police Officer in your age/gender bracket on our course. Everyone gets a t-shirt and if you beat the officer's time you can check off the I Won box on the t-shirt. Also offered this year for the first time is a 1 Mile Color Run. Race Packet pickup will be at the Oswego Police Department located at 3355 Woolley Rd from 800am to 500pm 4/16/26 and 4/17/26. Day of packet pickup will begin at 800am the morning of the race at the race site. Day of registration begins at 800am. Race start time is 900am. Award ceremony will begin at 1100 am or 15 minutes after the last runner completes the race. THIS RACE IS USATF CERTIFIED AND IS CHIP TIMED! Any Sign Ups after 3/31/26 are not guaranteed a shirt.

Join us for the YMCA's Youth Triathlon on Sunday, April 19 at the Peter Blum Family YMCA. MPRRC Annual Banquet and Membership Meeting

Its that time of the year to gather together with no sweating involved:  the MPRRC Annual Banquet and Membership Meeting.    The event will be held at Ala Moana Hotel by Mantra, 410 Atkinson Drive, Honolulu Hawaii 96814.
