Lace up and Lead the Way! Hosted by the West Morgan High School FCCLA chapter, the Lead the Way 5k is a fun, community race for runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels.   All proceeds will go to the West Morgan High School FCCLA chapter to support various different causes and events.  To receive a free race t-shirt, you must register by Monday, March 30th, 2026. All proceeds raised during this event benefit the Sheldon Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which provides grants to Sheldon I.S.D. teachers. The Danville-Pittsylvania Cancer Association, Visit SoSi, The Danville Running and Fitness Club, and Danville Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce the 17th Annual Bridge2Bridge 5K Walk, 5K Run, 10K Run, Kids Fun Run, and a Half Marathon. Virtual options are also available. Since our inception, Bridge2Bridge Danville has raised over $1,140,000 which benefits cancer patients within Danville and Pittsylvania County. In 2025, over 1000 individuals participated in this event which allowed Danville-Pittsylvania Cancer to help many local cancer patients with medications, wigs, travel expenses and more. Danville-Pittsylvania Cancer is a local 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides assistance to cancer patients by providing travel reimbursement, prescriptions, nutrition, medical supplies and equipment, prostheses, and wigs, as well as emotional, and educational support.

Welcome to our 20th Annual Half Marathon Unplugged that runs along the Burlington Greenway (bike path), which is adjacent to Lake Champlain with the Adirondacks in the distance. You won’t see 25,000 spectators or hear bands along the way, like with the M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon & Relay, but you WILL experience a scenic, very flat, half marathon race, with some fun frills along the way and especially at the finish festival. It's fun frills, no hills! This is a perfect 'training race' for those running the M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon on May 24th. The race course is point-to-point, starting at Airport Park in Colchester and finishing near Switchback Brewing on Flynn Avenue in Burlington. There will be three water stations along the course and at the finish, as well as a post-race party at Switchback.

Stacey's Run is a 5K race which takes place at the beautiful Gypsy Hill Park in Staunton VA. This annual event will take place on April 11, 2026, with a 1/2-mile Fun Run and the 5K beginning promptly at 10:00AM. This is always a fun- filled event with spectacular surroundings such as the Duck Pond, miniature train, baseball fields and playgrounds. At the conclusion of the 5K there will be door prizes, trophies and awards. Light refreshments will also be available. The proceeds from this event goes to the DeHaven Fund which awards annual scholarships to students with financial need pursuing college degrees. The Van Metre 5K Run was established in 1992 to benefit Children's National Hospital. The event includes a One Mile Fun Run/Walk inviting everyone from serious runners, occasional joggers, and walkers of all skill levels to participate. To date the Van Metre 5K Run has raised over $3.5 million dollars in support of Children's National. Race day activities include an interactive warm up for the kids, arts and crafts and face painting. The post-race celebrations include cash prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall male and female runners and additional prizes are presented to the top two male and female runners in every age group. Welcome to the HTC Quarter Marathon.   The quarter marathon distance is rare for weekend races. The Hartford Track Club Quarter Marathon will be held at the West Hartford Reservoir #4 on a well-marked paved course winding through the park.  Runners run two 3.275 mile loops to complete the 6.55 mile quarter marathon distance. Awards will be given to the top three runners in each age group category. This race is great training for those major spring events or just fun to try a unique distance. 10:00 am (9:30 am early start). 9th Annual Union Half Marathon and Relay will start at the Visitor Center in Big Stone Gap, VA. The course will utilize the paved Greenbelt Trail in Big Stone and then unite with the Powell River Trail in Appalachia, VA. Participants will be able to go through the two old train tunnels that make up the Powell River Trail. Ruck Hunger 2026 is a team-based charity ruck march organized by Honor Bound FIT to directly support the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank and combat food insecurity in our local community. Teams will collect shelf-stable food donations in advance and physically ruck those donations over a prescribed 3-mile route from the launch location to the food bank. Participants may complete the route multiple times throughout the day, carrying as much food as they are able, transforming physical effort into immediate, measurable impact for families in need.
