Ruck Hunger 2026 is a team-based charity ruck march organized by Honor Bound FIT to directly support the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank and combat food insecurity in our local community. Teams will collect shelf-stable food donations in advance and physically ruck those donations over a prescribed 3-mile route from the launch location to the food bank. Participants may complete the route multiple times throughout the day, carrying as much food as they are able, transforming physical effort into immediate, measurable impact for families in need. This is more than a single march—it is an endurance-based service event rooted in accountability, teamwork, and community action. Teams of ruck participants and support members will work together to deliver the greatest total weight of donated food, with recognition awarded to the top-performing team. Join Goochland YoungLife Saturday, April 11th at 9:00 am for our Third Annual 5K race. Come run or walk 3.1 miles in support of sending students to summer camp! Welcome to our 20th Annual Half Marathon Unplugged that runs along the Burlington Greenway (bike path), which is adjacent to Lake Champlain with the Adirondacks in the distance. You won’t see 25,000 spectators or hear bands along the way, like with the M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon & Relay, but you WILL experience a scenic, very flat, half marathon race, with some fun frills along the way and especially at the finish festival. It's fun frills, no hills! This is a perfect 'training race' for those running the M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon on May 24th. The race course is point-to-point, starting at Airport Park in Colchester and finishing near Switchback Brewing on Flynn Avenue in Burlington. There will be three water stations along the course and at the finish, as well as a post-race party at Switchback.

Please join us for the 4TH annual Fluffle Shuffle!!  We usually host our walk in October for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month/Day, but the universe had other plans last year! So even though the date is different, the purpose is still the same. We will be walking to remember all babies and honor their families. This fundraiser will help Parker's Purpose Foundation continue to support loss families in Central Texas. It will help us provide Caring Cradles, stuffed bunnies, care packages, and more.  We look forward to honoring the babies and families alongside you.  We encourage all walkers to bring their remembrance item for their baby to the event. The Danville-Pittsylvania Cancer Association, Visit SoSi, The Danville Running and Fitness Club, and Danville Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce the 17th Annual Bridge2Bridge 5K Walk, 5K Run, 10K Run, Kids Fun Run, and a Half Marathon. Virtual options are also available. Since our inception, Bridge2Bridge Danville has raised over $1,140,000 which benefits cancer patients within Danville and Pittsylvania County. In 2025, over 1000 individuals participated in this event which allowed Danville-Pittsylvania Cancer to help many local cancer patients with medications, wigs, travel expenses and more. Danville-Pittsylvania Cancer is a local 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides assistance to cancer patients by providing travel reimbursement, prescriptions, nutrition, medical supplies and equipment, prostheses, and wigs, as well as emotional, and educational support.

Welcome to the Houston Kids Triathlon presented by Huntington Bank. The 11th annual kids triathlon will take place at Typhoon Texas Waterpark in Katy, Texas over TWO DAYS; Saturday April 11th and Sunday, April 12th. After each race day, the park will be open for participants and family to enjoy a day of fun in the sun.  The Short Course triathlon (ages 6-11) will include a 125-meter swim, 2-mile bike, and 1-mile run. All proceeds raised during this event benefit the Sheldon Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which provides grants to Sheldon I.S.D. teachers. Stacey's Run is a 5K race which takes place at the beautiful Gypsy Hill Park in Staunton VA. This annual event will take place on April 11, 2026, with a 1/2-mile Fun Run and the 5K beginning promptly at 10:00AM. Returning for the 6th year is the Salmon Run 5K! Join us in honoring the memory of Paul "Fish" Salmon, a beloved brother and leader in the Theta Pi chapter of ATO at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Paul was diagnosed with leukemia in 2006 and underwent treatment at the Clearview Cancer Institute (CCI). The Van Metre 5K Run was established in 1992 to benefit Children's National Hospital. The event includes a One Mile Fun Run/Walk inviting everyone from serious runners, occasional joggers, and walkers of all skill levels to participate. To date the Van Metre 5K Run has raised over $3.5 million dollars in support of Children's National. Race day activities include an interactive warm up for the kids, arts and crafts and face painting. The post-race celebrations include cash prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall male and female runners and additional prizes are presented to the top two male and female runners in every age group.
