The Dolphin Dash is an annual fun-run and our school’s most important fundraiser! Students will run with their peers during school on March 27. Are you tough enough to race the FOURTH DRIVE up the Chisholm Trail?  CTAR will take you back in time to retrace the trails of cowboys driving cattle up the Chisholm Trail.  Be ready to paddle up the Brazos River and navigate across a variety of challenging landscapes both on your mountain bike and on foot searching for check points along the way.  This race will be an official USARA and ARWS sanctioned race.  Question is whether you're tough enough for the 24 hour race.  If you want to take on a short challenge feel free to sign up for fast paced 12 hour adventure race.  This race is located about 60 min South of DFW.  Most of the race will be located in the area near Lake Whitney.  As always actual race maps will handed out just before the race begins.  Dust off those compasses and get ready for an adventure, Texas style!

Join us for the 5K to Feed the 5K—an exciting and meaningful Easter fun-run hosted by the Gavilan Peak Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! To celebrate our community, Naaman Forest has decided to host our first annual Color run (5k) at a local venue, Audubon Park. This event is open to all ages and can be ran at any pace the participant decides. Join us to run, have fun, and most importantly get splashed with some color!

Get in a practice swim in Offatts Bayou just around the bend from the 70.3 swim course.  An approximate 400 meter course will be set with large OWS buoys and there will be safety personnel in the water at all times.  You are free to swim as much as you would like to in the given time.    Parking is located at the New Life Fellowship directly next door to the Galveston RV Resort.  Please park at the church and walk over the beach at the RV resort.  Please note- there are no changing facilities available. Important- the swim is located at an RV resort with residents and guests that we do not want to disturb.  Parking is limited, so please arrive within your selected time, park only in designated areas, and keep noise to a minimum.  The practice swim will be held rain or shine but is subject to cancellation if conditions are too dangerous.

Deafinitely Not Different 5k and Fun Run is a run/walk that benefits students who attend Plano Regional Day School Program for the Deaf.  Your participation could... help feed a family so that they can attend an Information Fair to learn more about deafness and resources,fund a field trip for our preschoolers to pick up new vocabulary from real life experiences,provide entry into competitions with kids across the country for our teens,buy books for our middle schoolers to use for Battle of the Books,and provide extra learning materials for our students and families to use. These activities are spread out throughout the year.  Regardless of when they take place, YOU get to help us create memories that last a lifetime!  Plano Regional Day School Program for the Deaf provides services for over 500 families of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in Collin County, Richardson, and Coppell.   Help us provide language rich opportunities to our babies all the way up to graduati

The Visit Tuscaloosa Half Marathon is the longest distance running race held in Tuscaloosa Alabama each year.  Runners get a sampling of the rolling hills along the Black Warrior River, the Tuscaloosa River Walk, portions of the University of Alabama campus, and some quaint downtown neighborhoods.  Runners can also choose to participate in the 5K or the Alabama Credit Union 1 Mile Fun Run and get in on the action! Finishers Medals for 10k and 5k. Fun Run awards for the kids. Runners can participate in the 5K, 10K, 5k/10K Double or the all ages Fun Run. The 10K and 5K courses are flat and fast. The first 3.5 miles of the 10K are run through quiet residential streets. The finish of the 10K and the entire 5K is run on the park and golf course perimeter road which runs along the beautiful Tennessee River. The 5K course is an out-and-back and the 10K is a loop. The Fun Run is a loop of the paved perimeter trail around the Spirit of America field. 5k

Whether you run, ruck, or hike -- we have an adventure ready for you! Big Cedar Wilderness Trails is on the grounds of Mountain Creek Church. It is located atop one of the most breathtaking escarpment areas in North Texas. Situated on over 100 acres, our trails wind through cedar and hardwood forest and descend quickly into a valley in a dramatic elevation change. From the trails you can view iconic landmarks of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Looking westward across the Trinity valley, the view is dominated by giant AT&T Stadium, The Ball Park in Arlington, Six Flags Family Park, and even the downtown Forth Worth skyline.
