Join us in supporting Tree of Life Christian Preparatory School in our 7th annual 5k and 1 mile race on March 22, 2026. NEW in 2026: FARC Grand Prix Series 5k Race with Certified Course!!! Returning this year, 10K RACE: 10K mix of trail and pavement. RACE COURSE at the 1st Day of Chancellorsville Battlefield in Fredericksburg, VA starting at 8am (10K), 8:10am (5K), and 9:15am (1 Miler). Start and Finish at 1st day of Chancellorsville Battlefield parking lot. Races will take place on gravel and dirt surface; rolling hills with beautiful scenery following a loop trail around the battlefield. 10K will run an out and back in the Chancellorsville Crossing subdivision that includes a large hill. 5k remains on trail turning around near the cemetery. SelecTri Bike and Transition Skills Clinic

SelecTri coaches will be hosting two skill clinics: 1) A bike skills clinic for youth athletes looking to brush up on their bike skills. This clinic will focus on biking basics: starting and stopping, riding in straight lines, riding with others, cornering, and more.  2) A transition clinic which is all about what you need to know for Triathlon Transition during a Youth Race. Athletes will learn all the steps of transition including setting up your space at a race site, transitioning from swim to bike (T1), transitioning from bike to run (T2), and all the associated skills such as mounting, dismounting, and running with your bike. Each clinic will be 1 hour long and cost $20. There will be a 20-minute break between clinics. The Try @ The Y Indoor Challenge is a fun, inclusive indoor triathlon-style event designed for all fitness levels, from first-timers to experienced athletes. Participants rotate through three back-to-back 15-minute segments—swimming in the pool, cycling on an indoor stationary bike, and running or walking on a treadmill—for a total of 45 minutes of activity. Each participant is assigned a specific start time and completes all three phases consecutively, with distances from each segment added together to determine a final score. Results are divided by age group and by gender. This weather-proof, beginner-friendly event offers a supportive, community-focused atmosphere and a great introduction to multi-sport fitness. Is the time of the year to see how much fitness you have gained or lost during the off season. If you are new in our sport or just starting out, this is the prefect race to get your feet wet! Who knows, you may be doing your first Ironman 70.3 in your near future! The race starts at 7:00 am and finishes by the Central Park Boat House parking lot. Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish.
