The Hartness Half Marathon & 5K presented brings a cross-country style half marathon and 5K into Greenville, SC. Held on the Hartness Property just off Pelham Road near Interstate 85, these two great 9th year events give athletes the ability to race on pavement, trails, dirt roads, gravel roads and grass fields. The Paw Paw Area Rotary Club is hosting its 15th Annual 5K Santa Run and 1-Mile Fun Walk on Saturday, December 12, 2026 at Freshwater Community Church in Paw Paw.  Proceeds from the Run will be used to support the Rotary Club’s efforts both locally & worldwide.  Each participant will receive a 5-piece Santa suit to wear during the Run/Walk (kids under 12 receive a free Santa hat). Rudolph's Revenge Endurance MTB Challenge Rudolph's Revenge is a 30, or 40, mile race on some of the toughest singletrack in North Texas combined with super fast fire road. The 30 mile race will take roughly a little over 2 hours to finish and has roughly 1,500 feet of technical climbing. The 40 mile race will take roughly 3 hours and cover 2,500 feet of elevation change. Terrain at the Isle Du Bois State park is challenging and rocky, the multi-use trail getting from greenbelt to state park varies in conditions and includes very challenging sand portions. A family friendly fun run or walk 5K in downtown Powder Springs, GA benefiting Sweetwater Mission. Stabilizing families by preventing hunger and homelessness while transforming Lives through education and employment opportunities since 1968. Outfits celebrating the season are encouraged. The 2026 Bridge & Trestle 17 Mile Run will be held on Saturday, December 13th.  The run will be entirely on the Virginia Creeper Trail, the exact course will be determined a bit closer to the race date, but hopefully we’ll be back in Damascus!! Race day packet pickup will begin at 8:30AM and the race will start at 10:00AM.   To continue our effort in keeping our beautiful trail clean and free of any trash, we're going cup-less again this year.  To help with this effort, we will have easy to carry, collapsible cups at packet pickup.  You will be able to use one of these cups (or your own hydration system) during the race at our aid stations.  We will have hot beverages and snacks available at the finish. This is a FREE run hosted by the State of Franklin Track Club and is part of the Club’s Trail Series and Long Distance Series competitions. Santa to the Sea is a nonprofit event born out of a desire to give back to the community. What started in 2003 as a toy drive to celebrate the relocation of the world’s largest Santa Claus from Carpinteria to Oxnard, has grown into a robust running event, toy drive, and community fundraiser. Santa to the Sea includes a half marathon, a Quarter Marathon plus a 5K run and 1K kids fun run. The Santa to the Sea Scholarship Fund partners with Gene Haas and Oxnard College Foundation to award $500 scholarships to local high school students and adults continuing their education at Oxnard College.  Santa to the Sea offers families not only a weekend of fun, but also an opportunity to give back to those in need, just in time for the holiday season.
