What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk?The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001, after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! Climbing Details  How long is the T2T Tower Climb at 150 N. Riverside Drive?  You will be starting at the park next to the building at ground level and climbing up to the 50th floor How many steps are there per flight?  The number of steps varies per flight.  Can I climb more than one time up?  Yes, after your first climb, please take the elevator down to the first level. Once every wave has been sent off, there may be an opportunity to have a second, untimed climb.   Will there be medical assistance if necessary? There will be medics on the premises in the event of an emergency. The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen. TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. This will be a chip timed hill climb starting at the San Joaquin River Trailhead in the South Finegold picnic area (Millerton Lk SRA; end of Sky Harbor Rd) and finishing at the top of Pincushion Mountain. The River Run 2026 is a unique experience that meanders through a working sand and gravel quarry.  The events take you inside the Southside Sand and Gravel Quarry to see the working quarry site, the banks of the San Benito River, specialized equipment that processes the rock, and beautiful natural surroundings. The Tri Community Tri is a multi-distance triathlon in a rural community.  The quaint little town of Pima is located in Southeastern Arizona.  With a population of about 3000, there are few cars on the road to disturb racers.  The sprint swim is 425 yards lap swim in the public pool located near the center of town. The bike portion of the race heads out of town where wildlife is present and a beautiful 15 mile ride  is welcomed with rolling hills.  Racers will then see just how quaint our town is as they meander through the neighborhoods on a 5K run.  Three deep medals will be given to an overall male and female winners as well as the top three finishers in each 5 year age bracket, male and female. THE Denver 5k! Denver's Iconic Sloan Lake is the setting for the return of 'THE Denver 5k'. Celebrate with friends and family as you race around the lake in the shadow of Denver's skyline. Group pricing applies; youth and senior pricing are offered as well! Come race with us at beautiful Lake Nighthorse in Durango, Colorado. The Swim takes place in this gorgeous lake. The Bike course includes some challenging climbs, while the Run course is rolling on mostly natural dirt/gravel surface with spectacular views of the lake. The Black Squirrel Half Marathon will take place on the wonderful trails of Lory State Park to the northeast of Fort Collins, Colorado. The half marathon course offers a tour of the outer boundaries of Lory State Park, providing breathtaking views to the south and east of Horsetooth Reservoir, Fort Collins and the Great Plains; and to the West of the awe-inspiring Rocky Mountain swell. The race covers a variety of terrain, all of which is runnable although technical in places. After a mile of dirt roads, the course ascends a little under four miles and 1,500 feet to the apex at 7,000 feet on Lory’s west ridge. The views are well worth the climb. A bomber descent follows, leaving three and a half miles of beautiful, gently rolling hardpacked singletrack into the finish. Early Fall is the best time of year to run or walk the perimeter of Mackinac Island, where you will enjoy sparkling water, spectacular views and historic sites!  The Island is a unique destination that can only be reached by ferry - and no motorized vehicles allowed.  Step back in time to a bygone era where travel is done by foot, bicycle, carriage or horse. In 1913, John Rockefeller Jr. built a series of carriage roads so he could avoid cars in the Acadia National Park. Nine miles of the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Half Marathon run on that still-existing system of hard-packed trails. The hilly course starts in the small, picturesque fishing town of Bar Harbor, then cuts into the National Park. Dense forest engulfs runners as they cross several old granite bridges before looping back to town. IMPORTANT UPDATE!!  Alive and Running VA 5K has a LIVE AND VIRTUAL for 2026 We are glad to announce that we are having a LIVE and VIRTUAL race for 2026.  Participants have the option to run the LIVE event on the VA location or stay at home and run/walk your event with VIRTUAL options. Virtual Event With a virtual race you can run the 5K distance anywhere, in your neighborhood, on a treadmill, at a nearby park. You will have between Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, October 3rd to complete your 5K. Once you have the 5K completed you will enter your time in the Run Sign-up website. The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen. TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. Join us for this year's Osseo Lion's Roar 5K!  Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome.  All proceeds from the event benefit the Osseo Senior High cross country team. Check-in will open at 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 12, 2026.  The race will start at 10:00 AM.   NOTE: Registration will be open online until September 11th @11:59pm, and will be available in person the morning of the race.  T-shirts will only be guaranteed for those registering online prior to September 1st. We will do our best and give you a shirt if we have some extras, but shirts are not guaranteed if registering after 9/1. Race goes off at 9:00am. You should have your bib number attached on the front of your shirt just above the waist to get the best read-rate.  Bibs located anywhere else will have a lower read-rate. Bib numbers need to be visible when you cross the finish line.  Water stops (2) available on the course. Utility vehicles will be patrolling the course.  Extra water will be available on the carts.  Upon finishing the race, prepackaged refreshments will be available for each runner. Have fun and get colorful with our 4th annual Cardinal Color Run!  The race starts and finishes at Michigan Center High School, and the route takes you through lakeside neighborhoods where you will be splashed with color while music plays and people cheer for you.  All proceeds go toward our Michigan Center running programs, specifically the cross country team and elementary running programs.  Our goal is to provide a fun, family-friendly way for everyone to get moving and enjoy being together!

Celebrate the fall classics with a 5k for all ages. Blake's Donut Dash 5k is run on gravel trails around the family-owned 50-acre Blake's Lyon Township. The 5k race will take you through the scenic orchard and includes a donut, glass of hard or sweet cider, t-shirt and commemorative glass.
