This race is held to raise funds for the Saint Maria Goretti "Community Outreach Ministry and Food Pantry".  The Community Outreach Ministry believes that there are many within our community who may be in need of some support. We also believe that we can make a difference by providing supplemental food to our neighboring communities. We support these neighboring communities by need rather than by parish borders. In addition, the race provides an opportunity for runners (and walkers) to come together on a Saturday morning to exercise and then break bread over breakfast.  NOTE: Children under 8 can participate in the race and breakfast for free with a signed up adult.

The Firefly Six Hour Trail Race is a six-hour timed night trail event. Run as many trail laps as you can in six hours.  Participants complete as many laps as they can on the  Franke Park Trail network for up to six hours. The route consists of paved path, gravel and single track dirt trail. Each loop will start/finish at the HUB. Only full loops will count toward your mileage total! The HUB is a multi-use facility built and maintained by the Summit City Singletrack mountain bike riding club. The HUB is equipped with picnic tables and shade triangles. The HUB will also be lit after sunset.  You can find the HUB between the gravel parking lot and Derby Hill.  There will not be an aid station on the course. Bring your own snacks and drinks to keep at the HUB. We encourage you to bring your favorite snacks and drinks to share at the HUB during the race. 2nd Annual F3 5K 4 Fair Haven Rape Crisis Center!  Event race starts at 9am! Please arrive early for check in! F3, a local men’s workout group is organizing a community 5K run/walk/ruck to raise funds and awareness for survivors of rape and human trafficking. The event aims to support the Fair Haven Rape Crisis Center, a nonprofit organization in Northwest Indiana dedicated to providing crisis advocacy services, support groups, prevention and education services for women who have experienced sexual violence and exploitation. We are motivated by a shared commitment to being positive agents of change in our communities.

The LIFE Family Resource Center (LFRC) is a non-profit pregnancy and resource center located in Paoli, Indiana. We are committed to supporting and assisting women and families with many of their pregnancy, parenting, and material needs.  All services offered by the Life Center are 100% FREE and provided in a loving, caring, and judgement-free environment. Services include self-administered pregnancy testing, ultrasounds in partnership with Hope Resource Center, Abortion Pill Rescue referrals, learn while you earn program, lunch and learns, parenting courses/classes, lay/peer counseling, material assistance such as diapers, clothing, baby supplies, and more.  Our funding is through the generous contributions of churches, area businesses, private citizens, and fundraisers such as the Walk/5K for LIFE and Sanctity of Life Sunday. The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen. TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. Last Man Standing Ultramarathon is a backyard ultra race held on the pristine, wooded trails of Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine. The course is a 4.2 mile loop with double track and some moderate elevation gain. The LMS course is as inviting as it is challenging. Those who are new to trail running and the backyard ultra format may find themselves completing new personal best distances. A rare and beautiful venue at the Old Pali Road 5K! A beautiful tropical route that starts at the Ko`olau Ballrooms and Conference Center (formerly the Ko`olau Golf Club) and takes runners along the scenic and challenging Old Pali Road. The 5K course is an out and back route through the very scenic closed roadway course. Set in beautiful Northeast Michigan, the Aliferis Memorial Race is open to runners, walkers and bikers of all ages and ability levels. It is named in memory of long-time Alpena Pathologist Dr. Peter Aliferis. Dr. Aliferis earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan and joined the hospital in 1963, serving for many years as the pathologies and laboratory director. He touched the lives of many in our community during his 37-year tenure. This race is a celebration of his steadfast dedication to health and wellness. All proceeds will benefit the Peter Aliferis Scholarship Fund, the Cancer Center and patient enhancement projects and new technology at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena. The Marshall Run is held in memory of Tpr. Kevin M. Marshall who died in the line of duty of July 7, 2003.  This is a 5K Run/Walk, and all proceeds benefit the Michigan Special Olympics via the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR).  All registrants receive a t-shirt.  The top overall male and female, male and female masters, male and female public safety, and top three male and female in each age group will receive awards. The 9/11 Run to Remember 5k and 1m walk will be held on Saturday September 5th. The 9/11 Run to Remember was established to honor and remember the 2,977 people lost in the horrific 9/11 terrorist attack. The run starts and finishes at the California 9/11 Memorial in Clovis, CA, a permanent monument which is the largest of its kind outside of New York City.

Join us for the second event in our Sunset series - The Sunset Mile! Music, food and running! Celebrate a night under the lights with us by running 4 laps on the track! This event is open to all ability levels.  All participants will receive a post race meal ticket for our food truck partner, Birreria y Tacos Doña Betty. Finishers will also receive a commemorative race medal, and winners of each heat will get a special surprise. ASICS will have spikes and super shoes for you to demo during the race so you can hit your fastest time!  Heats will be seeded based on expected finish times, and will be announced the day before the event. This race is held to raise funds for the Saint Maria Goretti "Community Outreach Ministry and Food Pantry".  The Community Outreach Ministry believes that there are many within our community who may be in need of some support. We also believe that we can make a difference by providing supplemental food to our neighboring communities. We support these neighboring communities by need rather than by parish borders. In addition, the race provides an opportunity for runners (and walkers) to come together on a Saturday morning to exercise and then break bread over breakfast.  NOTE: Children under 8 can participate in the race and breakfast for free with a signed up adult.

Join us for the 10th Annual Bloody Mary 5K Run and Walk at Tacky Jacks in Gulf Shores on Saturday, August 30th at 7:30 am. This annual event is on flat and fast city streets.  If you want to earn a PR or just have fun, THIS is the Labor Day weekend event you want to do. This race is the final race in the Run the Coast Summer series. There are cash prizes for the top 3 male and female runners in the series, based on the points system over the 3 races.
