The inaugural Apple City 5k! Come run fun easy trails and be a part of the Watsonville community! Going back to the roots of farming in Watsonville, the Apple City 5k at Pinto Lake County Park is a dedication to agricultural history and life of the Pajaro Valley.  Participants will experience the scenic meadows and trails of the county park, with gentle trails circling the whole park.  The kids 1k will go around the soccer fields near the starting/finish line.  This race is hosted by the Santa Cruz Track Club Fall Race series with 50% of funds going to the Pajaro Valley Education Foundation to support the students of the Pajaro Valley.

This is a beautiful and challenging two and half mile swim across the majestic Hudson River from Nyack, NY to the historic village of Sleepy Hollow, NY. Our goal is to give swimmers the opportunity to enjoy the panoramic views as they swim across the scenic Hudson River while supporting Feeding Westchester and other local charities. All swimmers must have proof of open water experience or must have a life guard or swim coach sign off on their ability. This proof can be uploaded at time of registration or sent to the  lighthouseswim@gmail.com by August 26th at the latest.  Proof can consist of results from a prior swim event or triathlon. If this is not available a swim coach or lifeguard can sign off on the swimmer's capability to swim across the Hudson River.  All swimmers will be required to wear a safety buoy which will be supplied at the event. Let's celebrate the end of summer and the end of our Bunion Derby with the DC Road Runners annual Cross Country 5k and Club Picnic. This race features a fun, but challenging 3 mile race course through NAME OF PARK. After the race, we'll have our Club Picnic with food and drinks including in registration.  Not up for running? Don't worry, you can come to the picnic. Just register, so we know how much food to order.  In addition to the 5k race, we will have a kids dash as well.  Registration is free for members and $10 for nonmembers. Members will see their $10 discount at checkout. The kids dash is, of course, free of charge. The Brainerd Lakes area has long been a great vacation destination and have one of the premier Sprint Triathlons. COURSE The race begins with a 1/4-mile swim in quiet Whipple Lake (known for its calm waters), then switches to a 13.6-mile bike through the rolling hills surrounding the Baxter/Brainerd Lakes area and ends with a very flat 3.2 mile run through a quiet residential area. The Hero Hustle was created in 2016 as a way to raise money to help support the men and women of the Delaware County fire, ambulance, and law enforcement departments. To date, through the participation of our athletes and the generous contributions of our sponsors, the Hero Hustle has been able to give over $77,000 to the people that are always there to save, serve and protect us. The Hero Hustle welcomes all athletes of all abilities. The goal is to get active, have a good time, and raise money for a good cause! The race is a sprint distance triathlon comprised of a 400yd swim, a 16 mile bike ride, and a 5K run to wrap it up. The swim course will be held in Schram Pond. The bike course is out on a public highway and has rolling hills for most of the course. Kona Kids is a non-profit organization which empowers the kids of Kona (on the Big Island of Hawaii) by teaching ownership of mind, body, and goals. This race supports Kona Kids by donating all proceeds to it for *purchasing schools supplies and meals for the children Kona Kids cares for. *This year's race is in honor of The Iron Tri-Dad (aka John W. Sprint Road Bike and Sprint Off-Road Triathlon

The Annapolis Ten Mile Run is a 10-mile foot race organized by the Annapolis Striders, Inc., a 1000 member, all volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Established in 1978 in Annapolis, Maryland, the club promotes physical fitness and mental well-being through distance running. The race is conducted according to the road racing guidelines of the Road Runners Club of America.The race has been listed as one of the top ten 10-mile races in the country by Runner’s World Magazine. It is a beautiful run through historic Annapolis and over the Severn River. We celebrated our 50th annual running on August 24, 2025. WE ARE BACK IN WESTERVILLE FOR 2026! Sign up today for the 5th Annual Sloane Swanton Research Run! This is a 5K run/walk that will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at the Westerville Sports Complex! That's right! We are thrilled to announce that we are moving back home to Westerville this year for this wonderful event! The 5K will start at 9 am and the Kids Fun Run (approx. 100 meters long and just for fun) will take place at 8:45 am. Howard's Run Festival is a charity race to benefit the Allegany County Animal Shelter. Starting in 2015, the event has raised over $40,000 for Maryland's first municipal no-kill shelter. The event is managed by Sharon Everett and Ray Hunt. The festival consists of two events held the 1st Sunday in September, an out and back half marathon starting and finishing at the Canal Place stage. The second event, an out and back 5K event, also starts and finishing at the Canal Place stage area and starts shortly after the half marathon.

We are excited to bring back the Bowling Green Sprint Triathlon at the Preston Miller Park in 2026!  Let's Go! The Swim segment is 400 Meters in the Russel Sim Aquatic Center with 50-meter lanes to stretch out and build your speed!  This is a serpentine swim. The Bike segment is14 miles from park left onto Veterans Blvd traversing through some neighborhood roadways, making a loop and coming back to the park via Veterans.  The Run is a 5k that starts in Park at Transition and is an out and back in the Park and trails.  This is paved and rock chip along the run. The 2nd Annual "Swim of Legends" will be held on August 30th, 2026.  Finish the summer with an open water ultra distance swim in the clear waters of iconic Geneva Lake!  This is a US Masters certified swim! A USMS membership is required, $20 will be taken off registration cost if you are an annual USMS member.  This event provides a secure, well-supported environment for experienced swimmers.   The swim will be about 11 kilometers (7 miles).  Each swimmer will be required to use a visibility float (swim buoy), we will have small ones to minimize drag that can be used for the race.  Hydration and Nutrition stops will be provided at three locations along the course. Water temperatures are expected to be around 78 degrees.  Wetsuits will not be allowed unless water temperatures are significantly cooler than the expected 78 degrees.  Registration Includes:  Swim cap, lightweight hoodie w/logo, awards (age groups and overall), lunch voucher and timed results.
