Running With Ella is not quite your typical 5k. We have no podium (though we just might hand out an odd prize or two), or timer. Putting up a lightning fast time at our 5k will not qualify you for the Boston Marathon. But what we do bring to the table–in spades, if we can brag just a little–is the spirit of joy, hope, and community.  We gather on this morning to celebrate movement of any kind–whether that means running, walking, skipping, or dancing your way to the finish line. This year will mark our 3rd annual Run For Hope, when we remember, honor, and celebrate those who lost their lives to addiction. This year's event is hosted by our Finding Hope and Hope After Loss Support Groups. We currently have over 800 members across the United States who attend these free support groups to seek hope and healing as they navigate loving someone with addiction, as well as find strength through their grief of losing a loved one. This year’s run will be family focused with our second one-mile memorial walk/run, inflatables, food trucks, and more. This will be an event you and your family will not want to miss! All proceeds from this year’s “Run For Hope” will go to funding our growing Finding Hope and Hope After Loss Support Groups, allowing more families to find healing and hope. Come join us on Saturday, August 29th, 2026, for CASA-Trinity's 8th Annual Color Run/Walk 4 Recovery 5k in Dansville, NY!   This family friendly event aims to work towards shattering the stigma associated with behavioral health, to increase awareness and understanding within the community of substance use and mental health disorders; while promoting the message that prevention works, treatment is available, and people can and do recover.   There will be face painting and a jump house for kids to enjoy! This clinic is hosted by TriChix Multisport, an all female triathlon club devoted to spreading the multisport love! We will teach athletes the fundamentals of triathlon and prepare them for the Sea Turtle Triathlon. Finger Lakes Duathlon Watkins Glen The Formula 1 Duathlon is staged on one of the most historic and well-known race tracks in the country. Watkins Glen International hosts the only NASCAR event in New York State and has its roots in Formula 1 racing. Our Formula 1 race at The Glen is a run-bike-run-bike-run duathlon taking place on Porsche Clash weekend. We take the track following the event with Pit Row serving as transition. Added to the event in 2017 is the Classic Du - run-bike-run duathlon on the same legendary course.   Come early to watch the Porsche event on the track before we race which is included in your registration!

IMPACT: Friends Improving Allegany County Trails is hosting the second annual trail run through the forested Phillips Creek, Turnpike, and Palmers Pond State Forest.  NEW THIS YEAR - we have added both a 10K distance walk and a 25K race course for runners.  Improvements to trail 3 were completed in 2025 and the 5K course has returned to the distance advertised.  All courses pass through rolling hardwood stands as well as sections of older pine plantations showing off the beauty of Western New York.  Map of Palmers Pond, Phillips Creek ,and Turnpike State Forest Trails: Map of State Forest Trails -The 5K run and walk follows the the Trail 3 loop clockwise finishing at the trail head of the State Route 244 parking lot.  The route is rolling and may have wet spots to cross. One of the greatest destination half marathons in North Carolina!  Asheville is truly an American treasure and a running destination with great shopping and world-class beer, arts, and dining. Runners will want to sample the many unique breweries, bars and clubs that the city has to offer! Asheville is one of America's most picturesque cities with beautiful homes, mountains and attractions bordering the Blue Ridge Parkway!  The 13th Annual Asheville Half Marathon - 10k - 5K  begins and ends in Pack Square on August 29, 2026. Starting at 7AM, this course covers some of the best parts of Asheville.  It runs through the Brewery District, then tours the Arts District, and then follows the French Broad River as you head up north to Beaver Lake.  After Beaver Lake you will head past the Grove Park Country Club, then towards Weaver Park, and next to UNCA campus.  Runners will then take Broadway Street back to downtown. The East Canyon Marathon has four distances. Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K.  The Full Marathon starts overlooking Salt Lake City at the Big Mountain Pass at the top of Emigration Canyon and heads East. This course follows along pine trees, aspens and follows several miles along the East Canyon Reservoir. The Full joins Half Marathon about 3/4 around East Canyon Reservoir where the Half Marathons starts and then heads down Red Rock Canyon which has great views and landscapes and unique rock formations. Around Mile 20 of the race the course turns into farmland with beautiful fields of grain and cool barns. The 10K and 5K are out and back courses that start where all distances finish at the Morgan County Fairgrounds.

The RUD Run (Run Until Done) is a very unique experience for runners! We welcome runners of all ability and experience level. Taste of Portage Half Marathon will take you on a beautiful run through Portage, Wisconsin.  Taste of Portage Half Marathon will be a course with lots of variety as you make your way past several of our community parks and the paved Levee path on the Wisconsin River.  We will have cool swag, medals, and a huge downtown post-race block party/awards ceremony!
