We're back again for 2026!  The 12th Annual Lipman 5K Run For Backpacks will be hosted in Ave Maria, FL. This great 5K/10K/ Fun Run benefits PruittCares - Camp Cocoon, which is a bereavement camp for children ages 6-17. The camp offers the children a safe environment to talk about their loved ones, ask counselors and medical professionals any questions they may have or just to let loose and enjoy the normal summer camp activities. Our hope is that this event can provide that same opportunity to adults in the community; a chance to wear something to honor a loved one that has passed away, talk to others who might have gone through similar experiences or just a chance to get together with friends and neighbors to compete on fast course, set a new PR or just to run or walk to raise money for good cause. Join us for the Run for Compassion 5K at Dellinger Park. This fun 5K supports the Compassion Center of Crosspoint City Church and is perfect for runners, walkers, and families alike. Course Information: The Race will start and end on the concrete track around the football field. The course winds through multiple of the park's trails and loops around the lake. For any XC runners, it is a very similar course to the Wire2Wire XC Invitational. Event Information Food insecurity and families facing hunger problems are increasing at an alarming pace. Here at the Bishop Jean William Pantry and Community Market a program of Park City Initiative Corp., we have been helping families for over 23 years. Currently, we provide over ONE MILLION MEALS annually to over 900 families with an increase of 20% in the past two months! Every year, Park City Initiative (PCI) hosts a Walk-A-Thon fundraiser and friend-raiser. The PCI Walk-A-Thon is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026, with the goal to have over 300 people walk. The Epsilon Zeta chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at Auburn University is hosting the 5k for DVA Race for the promotion of awareness, education and prevention of domestic violence. AXΩ is happy to share an event full of community spirit, integrity and fun that students of Auburn and members of the local community can participate in and look forward to. 100% of proceeds from the event will be donated to the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation and the Domestic Violence Intervention Center of Opelika. A Community Ruck for a Cause Join us for Ruck With Pups, a fun, purpose-driven community ruck that brings together people, dogs, and service-minded hearts for a morning of movement and impact. Hosted in partnership by Honor Bound FIT and The Guidon Foundation, and supported by Old Dominion Humane Society and the Stafford County Sheriffs Office, this guided ruck/walk invites participants to carry weight (optional), leash up a pup, and hit the trail together in support of two important causes: strengthening our community and supporting animal welfare. Old Dominion Humane Society will be on site with (adoptable) dogs, giving participants the opportunity to ruck alongside shelter dogs while helping them get exercise and visibility. This 5K Run/Walk is to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association.  Team Lakewood, which is comprised of residents and staff of the Lakewood Retirement Community is the top fundraiser in the history of Richmond's Walk to End Alzheimer's.  In 2022 we ranked 33rd nationwide in the event, which had over 52,000 teams.  We hope to raise over $50,000 this year to support this organization, which supports persons living with Alzheimer's, their caregivers and research.  You can help find a cure by participating in our first annual Lakewood/Alzheimer's 5K! 100% of the net profit from this race will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association. Welcome to the 2nd Annual Bay One Beer Mile - Relay in beautiful Colonial Beach, Virginia (we survived the inaugural shenanigans...mostly)! The authorities have let us have another go at the 1-mile relay run/walk/crawl inspired by the memory of John Lamb to raise awareness about the importance of donating blood, sharing in the love of drinking craft beer, and enjoying life.
