Night Serpent 5k

Eads, TN
When the sun goes down, the trail comes alive. Welcome to the Night Serpent 5K, a nighttime trail race unlike anything else on your race calendar. Held on private property in Eads, TN, runners will take on a dark, wooded trail filled with twists, turns, shadows—and a few things waiting for you along the way. This isn’t just a 5K in the dark. It’s a full haunted trail-running experience. 6:00 PM — The Serpent Sleeps 5k Our earlier race offers the excitement of the Night Serpent with a less intense, haunted experience. Runners 10 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Our haunted creatures will be positioned throughout the course, but they'll remain still as runners pass. 8:00 PM — The Serpent Awakens 5k When darkness takes over, so do the trails. The 8:00 PM race is reserved for ages 16+ and delivers the full Night Serpent experience. Our haunted creatures won't just be hiding in the woods anymore—they'll come alive. Expect darkness. Expect surprises. Expect your heart rate to climb for reasons that have nothing to do with your pace. No haunted creature will intentionally touch a runner, but we can't promise they won't make you run a little faster. Bring a headlamp, bring your courage, and come experience 3.1 miles after dark. Two races. One haunted trail. One unforgettable night. NIGHT SERPENT 5K October 30, 2026 | Eads, Tennessee Space will be limited for both races.

Panther Prowl Haunted Color Run

Odessa, TX
“Odessa's newest Halloween night! Haunted Color Run, Mini Monster Dash, Trunk or Treat, music, costumes and more—all benefiting Permian Tennis.” Registration includes an event shirt and color packet. 🎃 Haunted Color Run Ready to run into the dark? The Permian Tennis Haunted Color Run isn't your ordinary fun run. Expect color, frights, thrills, music, surprises, and a few things lurking along the course as you run or walk your way through a Halloween night at Permian! You'll encounter color stations throughout the course along with Halloween-themed scenes and scare zones designed to keep you wondering what's waiting around the next corner. Come ready to get messy, laugh, scream, and cross the finish line looking nothing like you did when you started. Runners will be released in WAVES to prevent overcrowding and allow everyone to experience the course. Your assigned wave/start time will be communicated before the event. Please do not enter the course before your wave is called. Costumes are absolutely encouraged! Because colored powder will be thrown during the run, we strongly recommend wearing a plain white T-shirt over your costume if you'd like to protect it. Color shows up best on white anyway—so the messier that shirt is at the finish, the better! ⚠️ A note about the scares: The full Haunted Color Run will include intentionally “scary” situations, Halloween characters, startling moments, darkness and other spooky surprises. Parents should use their own judgment when registering children for the full course. If your little monster isn't ready for the frights, choose the Mini Monster Dash instead! Participants may run or walk. This is a FUN run—not a timed race—so come for the experience, not your PR. 👻 Mini Monster Dash — Ages 10 & Under Little monsters deserve their own Halloween adventure! The Mini Monster Dash is designed especially for children 10 and under who want all the Halloween excitement without the big scares of the Haunted Color Run. Our littlest runners will dash through a shorter, kid-friendly course filled with a little color, lots of bubbles, music, silly Halloween fun and plenty of cheering! We'll keep the spooky stuff playful rather than frightening and send our Mini Monsters across the finish line to celebrate with candy and a Halloween treat. Costumes are encouraged! We recommend putting a plain white T-shirt over costumes for kids who want to participate in the color fun without covering their costume in powder. Mini Monster Dash participants will also be released in WAVES to keep the course safe, fun and uncrowded for our youngest runners. Parents/guardians are welcome to accompany their children at no additional cost. A little color. A LOT of bubbles. No big scares. And candy at the finish. 🍬👻
