The Waves of Gray – 5K Brain Cancer/Tumor Awareness Walk was created in memory of Fred K. Fenton II. Fred lost his battle with brain cancer (glioblastoma) in November 2016. When he was sick, our family felt extremely helpless as caregivers often do. This walk is our way to unite the Jacksonville brain tumor community, bring awareness to this horrible disease & raise funds for brain cancer/tumor research. Waves of Gray continues to support Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center. 100% of all funds raised will benefit the Waves of Gray Neuro-Oncology Endowment supporting research programs through Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Join us for the sixth annual Miles for Midwest 5K Run benefitting Midwest Food Bank Georgia Division!!  The 5K course will begin at the Midwest Food Bank Facility in Peachtree City, Georgia and take you on a scenic run along the cart paths.  Race registration is $40 from January 1–March 31, 2026, and will be $45 from April 1–May 8, 2026.  ($5 discount will be taken off of registrations for those who are under 18 at checkout).  In-person registration available the morning of the run at $50 for adults and $45 for children under 18. Back for a 12th year, the 2026 Starved Rock Country Marathon and Half Marathon, 5K and now 10K  have become the "must do" events of the running community in central Illinois. The Marathon course will again encompass the scenery of the Illinois River, the neighborhoods of Ottawa, and the rolling landscapes in and around Starved Rock State Park. Runners will be inspired by the scenery of rolling country hills and natural rock formations tucked into heavily wooded areas created by the Illinois River thousands of years ago. This record eligible marathon course has 16 aide stations with Gatorade at each station and we plan to stock one station for the half and two for the marathon with GU. We are excited to announce The Getting Miles Athletic Club's first annual Fort Wayne Park Race Series! Participants age 12 and under are eligible to compete in this race series.  The Shoaff Park Long Mile, the first race of the series, is a1,5 mile loop on the paved recreation trail in Shoaff Park. Make sure you arrive early to find a good parking spot, warm up, use the restrooms and pick up your race bib. Series participants need to return their race bibs to the packet pickup station in order to receive points for the race. You will use the same race bib for all the events. Runners will receive a race decal to put on their bib at the finish line.  Be sure to return your race bib to packet pickup after you finish the race. Warren County Parks and Recreation is hosting the 3rd Annual P.A.C.E. Marathon and Half Marathon in 2026! PACE stands for Parks and Community Events, and the goal of this race is to have people experience these two communities. This year's race will feature the communities of Smiths Grove and Oakland, a truly beautiful section of Warren County, KY. All marathon and half marathon participants will receive a shirt, and marathon and half marathon finishers will receive a unique medal that features these two communities. This is a rural route that will have you oohing and aahing as you run.  Early packet pick-up for ALL races will be available Friday, May 8th from 6:00-9:00pm at Ed Spear Park. Join us for the only race in Kentucky that runs through 4 Central Kentucky horse farms. Our 5th annual race celebrates our beautiful and historic community where champion thoroughbred horses are bred, trained, and live.  Our Half Marathon course runs through Ashbrook Farm, Newtownanner Farm, Buck Pond Farm, and WinStar Farm.  The 10K runs through Ashbrook Farm and WinStar Farm.  A Pisgah Farms & Furlongs 5K with a registration cap of 75 runners and walkers.  This race will start at 7:05am along with the 10K. The Polar Bear Triathlon / Duathlon will take  place on its traditional date of May 2, 2026 The Polar Bear Triathlon / Duathlon is New England’s season opening event! A sprint triathlon and duathlon perfect for beginners and experienced triathletes alike combining a pool swim, a scenic bike course on country coastal roads, and epic and fast run on wide hard packed trails and quiet neighborhood streets, 8:25a Start Time The Polar Bear Triathlon and Duathlon takes place the first Saturday of May annually to open the triathlon season in New England. The race is contested on the beautiful campus of Bowdoin College with world class facilities including a 16 lane pool, locker rooms with showers (pending availability), wonderful flat grass transition area and world class event production. This pool swim triathlon is a great race for beginners to get their feet wet and seasoned triathletes to start their season without the concerns of a cold, open water swim. Deer Dash 5K is a chip-timed 5K race through the beautiful Summerfield neighborhood of Lake Linganore starting and finishing at Deer Crossing Elementary school. The Fun Run is a non-timed event that takes place on the recess grounds of Deer Crossing Elementary, behind the school. Produced by the Deer Crossing Elementary PTA, this event is an annual event loved by all that brings our community together around healthy habits and movement and raises money for school improvements and programs that support the staff and children at DCES. Please join us this year and make it a STELLAR event.

This event will be held at the Bowman Business Park in Williamsport, MD…..just minutes from PA, 20 minutes from Martinsburg, WV and Frederick, MD and 90 minutes from Baltimore and DC. The races will start and finish in the parking lot area between the two Breweries, Cushwa Brewing Co and Interchange Tiki Bar & Brewing. The event will include a kids .50 mile fun run, a 5K road race (runners, walkers, families invited), a 21 & older Beer Mile, Tiki-tizer mile. Twenty residential homes are located in Oakland and Macomb County. The MP Strength & Performance Ruck Walk for Mental Health is an untimed 2-mile community walk focused on mental health awareness, movement, and community connection. Participants may wear a ruck, weighted vest, backpack, or walk unweighted. The event is open to all fitness levels and welcomes individuals, families, first responders, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to come out and support mental health awareness. Registration includes an event T-shirt, participant gift bag and a raffle ticket. During the event, participants can enjoy local vendors, raffles, a hydration station, and a relaxed community atmosphere. After the walk, stick around to visit vendor tables, grab a bite from the food truck, and connect with others in the community. Join us for the 10th Annual Color Out Cancer Run hosted by Algonac's National Honor Society! Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 10 AM. The race is 3.1 miles. One registration will include a T-shirt, bandanna, and Individual color packet. Be sure to pick your t-shirt size when registering. T-shirts will be distributed at check-in the morning of the race. The school restrooms will be available the day of the race.  The race begins and ends at Algonac High School.  All proceeds will benefit Jillian Burgess with medical expenses related to cancer.
