The race is a four-mile, USATF-certified course that starts in downtown Willmar, winds along beautiful Foot Lake and the scenic trails of Robbins Island, then passes over the First Street bridge before returning to Rice Memorial Hospital. Runners will be timed using electronic chips included inside each race bib. Whether you want to swim or kayak, we have the sprint-distance race for you. Both races start at 8 am Saturday, June 27th. The swimmers start 750m upstream and the kayakers start in the river at the transition area. After the 750m downstream swim or the 5k kayak loop, racers will ride a 10.6 mile bike course followed by a 5k run. We have one, central transition area at the Lockport Boat Launch--a truly beautiful spot for family and friends to cheer you on! Her untimely passing has left her loved ones with unimaginable sorrow in their hearts, for she was a beacon of love that effortlessly filled one with joy. Raeann, born to Jamie Merlino and Dawn Gazda on June 25, 2012, is remembered for her energetic, caring and strong-willed personality. She was a fifth-grade student in the Wyoming Area School District. Twirling and giggling, Rae was constantly dancing with exceptional rhythm. Her love of dance led her to cheerleading, which became a passion and outlet for her creativity and energy. We are excited to bring back for year #2 the unique fitness challenge we refer to as The Forge Quad-Athlon! If you are looking for a complete body and mind challenge, this might just be the ticket. This event will take place on Saturday, June 27th in Old Forge, NY. The Quad-Athlon will start and finish at the George T. Hiltebrant Center (201 North St., Old Forge, NY).  You will ride, hike, paddle and run a total of 26.5 miles. The Quad-Athlon will start with a 13 mile mtn/gravel bike on the Tobie Trail (snowmobile trails).  The bike is followed by a hike through the up and down trails on Vista Mountain for ~4.5 miles. This race has been created to honor the memory of Raeann Rose Merlino and raise funds for the Memorial Scholarship in her name.  Raeann Rose Merlino, 10, of West Pittston, departed from this world Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022, after a brief battle with the flu and RSV. Her untimely passing has left her loved ones with unimaginable sorrow in their hearts, for she was a beacon of love that effortlessly filled one with joy. Raeann, born to Jamie Merlino and Dawn Gazda on June 25, 2012, is remembered for her energetic, caring and strong-willed personality. She was a fifth-grade student in the Wyoming Area School District. Twirling and giggling, Rae was constantly dancing with exceptional rhythm. Her love of dance led her to cheerleading, which became a passion and outlet for her creativity and energy. Riding to The Rescue

The details are in! Time to get ready. We are joining together to Ride to the Rescue! On Saturday, June 27 we are going to join together to ride on the Panhandle Trail. It will begin and end at the Helicon Brewery in Oakdale, PA with the longest length turning around in West Virginia. You will be able to choose your ride based on your skill confidence. Choose from an approximately 3 mile family ride, 17 mile, 35 mile or 56 mile trip. Starting this year, there is a $50 fee for all distance riders to participate. Kinship of the Perham Area is hosting the 21st annual Average Jo Triathlon on Saturday, June 27th at Paul Miller Park just north of Perham, MN.  The Average Jo consists of a 1/3-mile swim in Little Pine Lake, then transition to your bike for a 12.5-mile bike ride, and end with a 3.1 mile run to Arvig Park. TALI Croft State Park Off-Road Duathlon

Come showcase your ability at the TALI Croft State Park Off-Road Duathlon.  The Adult race takes you on a 3.5-mile trail run where you will be running where horses still roam, watch out for those horse pies 😊.  Then its off to the mountain bike trail course with plenty of climbing, drops and water crossings to make you feel as if you are riding on a bronco. Once on the trail you will do two loops equally 8 miles for total distance of 9.  Finish with a 1.5 mile out and back dash through a wooded area along the trails of Croft.  The Youth race will begin on the 1-mile nature trail flowing through mixed pine and hardwood trees and wind along the Fairforest creek. Then its off to the mountain bike trail course with plenty of climbing and drops to make you feel as if you are riding on a bronco. This 3.5-mile course will be one lap.
