We are back for an exciting 2026 Red, White and Blue COLOR Blast 5K run/walk and 10K run!  This will be an in-person event with the start and finish at the Whitmore Lake Elementary School - 1077 Barker Rd. We are back with a color blast run where at the start of the 5k, finish for all runners and in the color zone along the 5k route runners/walkers will be blasted with red and blue color powder. If color powder isn't your thing, no worries. Just tell the volunteers along the route, and they will not blast you.  We encourage all racers to show their spirit by wearing red, white and blue! This race has been created to honor the memory of Raeann Rose Merlino and raise funds for the Memorial Scholarship in her name.  Raeann Rose Merlino, 10, of West Pittston, departed from this world Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022, after a brief battle with the flu and RSV. Her untimely passing has left her loved ones with unimaginable sorrow in their hearts, for she was a beacon of love that effortlessly filled one with joy. Raeann, born to Jamie Merlino and Dawn Gazda on June 25, 2012, is remembered for her energetic, caring and strong-willed personality. She was a fifth-grade student in the Wyoming Area School District. Twirling and giggling, Rae was constantly dancing with exceptional rhythm. Her love of dance led her to cheerleading, which became a passion and outlet for her creativity and energy. Empathetic to her core, compassion for animals, especially her canine companion, Gus, was abundant in Rae. The September 11th National Memorial Trail Alliance is thrilled to announce the Rodale Park 12 Hour Challenge at the Bob Rodale Cycling & Fitness Park in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania. Join the Alliance on Saturday, June 27th, for a unique endurance event supporting the mission of the 9/11 National Memorial Trail Alliance. Participants are invited to challenge themselves by cycling, running, jogging, or walking laps on a beautiful, fully paved course in Rodale Park. The details are in! Time to get ready. We are joining together to Ride to the Rescue! On Saturday, June 27 we are going to join together to ride on the Panhandle Trail. It will begin and end at the Helicon Brewery in Oakdale, PA with the longest length turning around in West Virginia. You will be able to choose your ride based on your skill confidence. Choose from an approximately 3 mile family ride, 17 mile, 35 mile or 56 mile trip. Starting this year, there is a $50 fee for all distance riders to participate. The family ride will be $100 for families to register. Each distance will have a fundraising minimum to raise in addition to this registration fee. Kinship of the Perham Area is hosting the 21st annual Average Jo Triathlon on Saturday, June 27th at Paul Miller Park just north of Perham, MN.  The Average Jo consists of a 1/3-mile swim in Little Pine Lake, then transition to your bike for a 12.5-mile bike ride, and end with a 3.1 mile run to Arvig Park. There is a Team Event option on the registration page and with this option - the first team member to register pays the team fee.  The other two members will also need to sign up and sign the waiver form and record their T-shirt size. Race Location: CentraCare-Rice Memorial Hospital Ambulance Garage Corner of Becker Ave and 2nd Street Willmar, MN It is a fun event for the whole family that takes place each year during Willmar Fests. The race is a four-mile, USATF-certified course that starts in downtown Willmar, winds along beautiful Foot Lake and the scenic trails of Robbins Island, then passes over the First Street bridge before returning to Rice Memorial Hospital. Runners will be timed using electronic chips included inside each race bib. Water stops are provided at two locations along the route, and splits are available at the one, two, and three-mile marks. Join us for this magnificent Vineyard Run in Hermann, Missouri. This 5K Trail Run will lead you through some of our beautiful vineyards. Starting at the base of our Vineyard Hill, we will have a runner’s village to get you pumped up for the trek to the top and a breathtaking view of the hills surrounding our award-winning Winery. The course then takes you not just around the vineyard, but through rows of Vignoles and our Estate Norton grape vines. Then we do it all again for a second pass through.  The downhill slope at the end of this run is a blast, with the wind at your back and the Puchta Slushy trailer waiting to serve up a wine slushy for you at the finish line! We are excited to bring back for year #2 the unique fitness challenge we refer to as The Forge Quad-Athlon! If you are looking for a complete body and mind challenge, this might just be the ticket. This event will take place on Saturday, June 27th in Old Forge, NY. The Quad-Athlon will start and finish at the George T. Hiltebrant Center (201 North St., Old Forge, NY).  You will ride, hike, paddle and run a total of 26.5 miles. The Quad-Athlon will start with a 13 mile mtn/gravel bike on the Tobie Trail (snowmobile trails).  The bike is followed by a hike through the up and down trails on Vista Mountain for ~4.5 miles. After your adventurous hike you will then begin your 2.6 mile trail run on the Tobie Trail that will take you to Rondaxe Road  where  you will put your kayak in and start your 5.4 mile paddle down the beautiful Moose River. The 2026 Greater Clarksburg 10K is back for its 30th year! We are excited to have everyone back this year and need your help to reach our goal of 500 race participants. Due to the continued renovations going on in Downtown Clarksburg this year, the race will take place at the Veterans Memorial Park again, starting from the baseball fields. 5k race to raise funds for Founders Park

The South Berwick Strawberry Run is a 5-mile loop race always held the last Saturday in June in conjunction with the South Berwick Strawberry Festival.  Proceeds benefit the South Berwick Recreation Department providing affordable youth programming to the community.

Run Today for Tomorrow's 7th annual 5K is back, and as of December of 2025, Run Today for Tomorrow, Inc. is officially a 501c3!! All proceeds will stay in the community and provide financial assistance to community members in getting the help they need as well as a mental health scholarship for local students in the Mental Health field of study. June 27th at Leslie Science and Nature Center Join us for a day full of muddy and messy play at Mud Day Mayhem!  Saturday June 27th from 10am-12:30pm at Leslie Science & Nature Center. Discover the Mud Monster in you as you and your family dive into the wonders of mud with hands-on activities. Make mud pies, paintings and sculptures, try out your skills at mud throwing, dip your feet or your whole body into the giant mud zone, and listen to muddy stories. There are also plenty of activities for friends who prefer to stay on the less messy side of play. This event is for children of all ages. This year, with the help of sponsors and donors like you, we are able to offer this experience FREE to the community.   Mud Day T- Shirt and other Mud Day related swag will be on sale. Please join us for the 4th Annual 4.01k Family Color Run at The Investment Centre at CBC Bank, celebrating financial literacy! The course begins at the Investment Centre at CBC Bank, heads through Country Club Road and Drive, into Bellemeade Drive, turn around at the St. Andrews circle, and back to the Investment Centre. Color will be launched at multiple intervals along the route. The route is supported with race volunteers and spectators along with police coverage. Lace Up, Sip, and Celebrate Freedom at the 2nd Annual Find Your Fire 5K & Freedom Fest StillFire Brewing is turning up the heat on Saturday, June 27th with the 2nd annual Find Your Fire 5K & Freedom Fest — a day packed with fitness, fun, and freedom-loving festivities.
