Welcome to Fayetteville's only Half Marathon on the Cape Fear River Trail! All races will feature different routes and use the Cape Fear River Trail. This trail is a beautiful, paved greenway trail along the Cape Fear River. The start and finish line will be at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden. There will be on course support.  There will be no pets allowed at this event. This race will have an option to add on a VIP experience. This includes a private heated tent for VIPs only, VIP only refreshments, Bag storage, and VIP line for early packet pick up. Limited to 35 entrants.

WHAT The Red Apple Run for Diabetes Presented by Beauty and Grace Aesthetics is a 5K and 10K race on the Cape Fear River Trail in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Join us as we get together during National Diabetes Month to help raise awareness and support. All participants receive a finisher medal at the finish line. Join us on December 12th along the Cape Fear River Trail (paved trail) for a fun and festive morning! We want to flood the day with running Santas, walking Santas, Santa Paws, and little Santas! This is a non-competitive, non-timed event, meant to bring a little fun to the holiday season! All paces are welcome, as well as strollers. Pets are welcome and encouraged! We don't have any Santa suits for the pups, but we would love to see them dressed up, too! We have added the "1-mile" walk/run/shuffle option as well. Registration is the same for both distance options. We will have turnaround points marked for both the 1-mile route and the 5K route. You decide which distance you would like to complete! The Sirens and Sluggers 5K is a premier community event presented in proud partnership with the Fayetteville Woodpeckers and benefitting the Fayetteville Police Benevolent Fund. The race will start outside the stadium and send runners through downtown and back passing by the Fay PD building and finishing inside Segra Stadium for a unique finish line experience. We are excited to return to Carver's Creek State Park for Run Stubborn 25/50k for a second year! Last year was a blast and this year we have a surprise for you! This year the course will be ran in reverse and those who complete the course in both directions back to back years will earn a special challenge award! Are you hardy, persistent and stubborn enough to take on parts of the state park that aren't open to the public? If so, then this is the race for you! During this event you'll get to run some of the already known trails and then get adventurous on some special trails that you've not experienced before! This will be an old school, runner oriented race that will surely be a part of your 2027 race schedule! We have designed a fabulous course that will take you to places that you didn't know existed and we are super excited for everyone to experience Carver's Creek like never before! During the event you'll pass by several lakes and ponds as you enjoy some really runnable technical trail. There are no out and backs or two way traffic. Folks, this is a true 16 mile loop! You will run two laps for the 50k and there will be a hard cutoff to start the second loop. 50k runners have 9hrs to finish. Want to take your time or put on a ruck? You'll have the entire time to complete the 25k Only Cani-Cross dogs allowed. No children under 14 years of age for this event. The Free Run 5K will take place in historic Downtown Fayetteville, NC, and is designed to capture the true feeling of being FREE through movement. Starting and finishing at North South Brewing Company, runners will take on closed city streets through the heart of downtown, passing iconic Fayetteville landmarks, including the historic Market House. Race packet Pick-Up will be 11-12 March 2pm to 7pm @ North South Brewing. In person and Virtual runners will receive a T-Shirt and finisher medal. Virtual packets will be mailed 1-2 week before race day. More than just a 5K, the Free Run is about bringing people together.
