OSU Indoor Triathlon

This year's race will be held in the Recreational and Physical Activity Center (RPAC) at The Ohio State University on Sunday, April 19th, 2026. This will count as a USAT Collegiate Nationals qualifier.  An indoor triathlon is based on time rather than distance, allowing all levels of ability the opportunity to compete! There will be a 10 minute swim in the indoor competition pool. Then there is a 15 minute transition that allows you to change into biking clothes/get situated at your stationary bike. The stationary bike ride will last 20 minutes. A 5 minute transition is then given to allow you enough time to get to the track. Concluding the race is a 15 minute run on our indoor track. Stop the Suffering 5k

The annual 5K run/1 mile walk benefits Stop the Suffering, a 501 (c)(3) based in Columbus, Ohio that saves animals from shelters and other situations in which their lives might be at risk. STS adopts out about 500 dogs a year, transports around 4,000 cats and dogs from rural shelters and puppy mills, to rescue organizations. STS also sponsors the vet care, boarding expenses and other costs when needed to help save an animal's life. Additionally, STS has a program that helps with many local municipalities spay and neuter programs in order to help control the pet population.   This is a rain or shine event. In the instance of severe weather it would be up to the race director to call it for the safety of all participants, volunteers, and vendors.

This race takes place on a combination of paved road surfaces and a beautiful, partially-wooded looped trail on the OhioHealth McConnell Heart Health Center property. The 5K course is mostly flat, with one or two hills. The 1-Mile Walk event will start at 8:30am followed by the 5K Walk/Run event at 9:00am. The first half of the 5K course is on roads and a loop of the front parking lot, and the second half on the beautiful trail around the McConnell campus. Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. UACA Memorial Day Run

Please join us for the 54th running of the UACA Memorial Day Run on Monday, May 25, 2026. This year, we are bringing back an option for a 5-mile run (well, almost, at 4.9 miles).  There will still be the same 5K and 1-mile courses everyone has enjoyed the last few years.  The courses race through the crowd filled and fast streets of Upper Arlington providing a great experience for serious and casual runners alike. All proceeds will benefit the charitable functions of the UACA. Participants will receive an official UACA Memorial Day Run event shirt and an official finisher’s Medal.
