Gobbler 5K, 10K & 13.1M at South Jordan, UT (45)

South Jordan, UT
US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Please plan for the weather, bring anything you may want between laps, and check in with race staff if you need help. View Race Course, Results, and Race Information on the US Road Running race page.

Hope in Every Step 5k

Saint George, UT
Run. Walk. Remember. Hope. Join us on November 7 at Crosby Confluence Park for Hope in Every Step, a special trail run/walk bringing the St. George community together to raise awareness for stomach cancer and support those whose lives have been touched by this disease. After nearly three years of living with stage 4 stomach cancer, I’ve learned that every step matters. Whether you are a survivor, currently fighting, a caregiver, a family member, or remembering someone you love, Hope in Every Step is about celebrating the steps we are able to take — together. To learn more about my story, check it out here: https://stocan.org/kendle-salisburys-inspiring-story-fighting-stage-4-stomach-cancer-with-positivity-and-hope/ Why Run? There are so many reasons to lace up: + Raise awareness about stomach cancer and the people and families it affects. + Support stomach cancer patients and caregivers who are navigating an incredibly difficult journey. + Help fund research and work toward better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. + Honor someone you love who has been affected by stomach cancer. + Celebrate a survivor or someone who is currently fighting. + Walk alongside someone who needs hope. + Bring your friends, family, coworkers or team and make a difference together. + And simply take a step for hope. + Choose Your Challenge This is a trail event, so come enjoy the outdoors and participate at whatever pace feels right for you. 5K Trail Run/Walk - Run it, walk it, or do a little of both. 1K Hope Walk - A meaningful way for all ages and abilities to participate. Kids Fun Run - Let the kids join in and be part of the hope! More Ways to Get Involved - You don't have to run to make an impact. Participate as a team. Gather your family, friends, coworkers, cancer support group or community organization and take the trail together. Become a sponsor. Help us raise awareness and support the important work being done on behalf of stomach cancer patients and families. Volunteer. Help make Hope in Every Step a meaningful experience for everyone who attends. Supporting Hope for Stomach Cancer Proceeds from the event will support Hope for Stomach Cancer (StoCAN), an organization dedicated to empowering patients, caregivers, clinicians, researchers and advocates through education, support, research partnerships and advocacy. Their work helps people affected by stomach cancer find resources, connect with others, stay informed about research and navigate their cancer journey. (Hope For Stomach Cancer) Need stomach cancer resources? Visit StoCAN.org for helpful information and resources for patients, caregivers and families, including treatment information, patient resources and ways to connect with the stomach cancer community. Come Take a Step With Us Whether you run the 5K, walk the 1K, cheer from the sidelines, volunteer, sponsor the event or bring your kids for the fun run, there is a place for you at Hope in Every Step. Let's come together as a community to raise awareness, support research, honor those we've lost, encourage those who are fighting and celebrate every step forward. Hope is in every step. Warrior 5K & 8K...Through The Park

West Allis, WI
The course begins on the southwest corner of the park with a gradual incline toward the north. The course then winds back toward the start line on trails through a small line of trees. It continues along the service road, where the first mile is at the back end of the parking lot. The course continues through the woods on rolling trails with mile two at a fork in the path. The final 1.2 miles is a near replica of the first, featuring plenty of open space for movement. Overall, the course is rolling with occasional rough footing in the woods, but a picturesque course nonetheless, especially in the fall.

Warriors of Hope - Irene's 5K

Tomball, TX
Join us for the Second Annual Warriors of Hope 5K & 1K Fun Run held in loving memory of Irene Aragon, a remarkable woman who bravely fought gastric cancer before passing away in November 2023. Though Irene is no longer with us, her family has come together to continue her mission of spreading awareness and supporting those impacted by stomach cancer. Why HOPE and This Event Matter Stomach cancer is often diagnosed at a later stage, when patients have fewer options. Changing that starts with awareness, education, and access. When stomach cancer is found earlier, it opens the door to more treatment options, more time, and more hope—for patients and their families. A diagnosis doesn’t just impact the body—it affects every part of life. HOPE exists to make sure no one faces that journey alone. Through resources, education, community, and advocacy, we are working to improve outcomes and bring more visibility to a cancer that is too often overlooked. This event is held in honor of Irene Aragon, whose strength and spirit continue to inspire this community. Her story is a reminder of why this work matters—and why showing up for one another matters. Our run does more than raise funds—it brings people together, raises awareness, and helps drive change. In 2025, our inaugural year, 250 people ran, walked, or cheered in person and around the US for stomach cancer patients. This year, we’re aiming to double that. If each participant brings just one more person, we can grow this event and its impact in a meaningful way. Warriors of Hope - Irene's 5K will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Spring Creek Park in Tomball, Texas where families and friends of HOPE will gather to do something simple but powerful: walk, jog, connect, and be present together outdoors. This event is about awareness, community, and support. If you’re not a runner or a walker, that’s okay—we need you too. Come cheer, volunteer, share a story, or simply be there. Event Highlights: Finisher Medals for all participants Shirts included for 5K & Virtual 5K (Preferred shirt sizes are not guaranteed after 10/13/2026) 1K Fun Run perfect for the kids - also includes shirt with registration Tribute to Irene Aragon and survivor and caregiver recognition Awards and acknowledgement for top fundraisers Overall Male/Female for each event Participants will also have the opportunity to make a deeper impact by engaging in peer-to-peer fundraising, helping to amplify awareness and raise critical funds for the stomach cancer community. Come together as Warriors of Hope — run with purpose, honor with love, and give with heart.

Our community-based support allows us to host and sponsor regular social activities, provide educational programs, conferences, workshops, summer camp and community events. Our mission and purpose are for everyone with Down syndrome to have the skills and experiences they need to live the life of their choosing. Why the "Little Extra"? All people with Down syndrome have an extra, critical portion of chromosome 21 present in all or some of their cells. This additional genetic material alters the course of development and causes the characteristics associated with Down syndrome. Although 5Ks are usually 3.1miles, our run will have an extra, optional .11 miles, making our 5K a 3.21 mile run- to celebrate the extra chromosome, hence "with a little extra". Donations are always appreciated!
