NY Remix 2026

Anywhere, NY
Hi everyone!  We are back for more.  This is year 3!!! That is incredible.  Thanks to the support from you all, I decided to bring it back for the 3rd year.  I am grateful that you all are here to join me.  I am grateful to have so many accountability buddies. If you are looking for accountability in your fitness, then you are in the right place.  This challenge is for beginners, elite athletes and everyone in between!  In 2020, I joined a similar challenge and it helped to keep me accountable.  Unfortunately, those challenges weren't continued.  In late 2023, I decided that I wanted to give myself the accountability and offered it to others that I knew could use it as well. The challenge blossomed into something amazing and I received more support than I thought I would.  I am so grateful for those people and for all of you that choose to join me this year. This challenge runs the span of the year 2026, starts at 12AM January 1 and closed at 11:59PM on December 31. There will be m

Weekend Group Runs At Rockland Lake

Valley Cottage, NY
Weekend Group Runs We are expanding our group run offerings.  We will always hold a "Meet the Road Runners" run at Rockland Lake on the Third Sunday of every month.  That run is particularly good for beginning runners or those new to the club looking for running buddies as there will always be someone there from Club Leadership and we'll make sure no one runs alone, whatever your pace. We will add additional group runs whenever we have a club volunteer to lead one. Typically, those will also be at Rockland Lake at the same time and place, but we may vary that in the future. Make sure you are registered so you get the e-mail notifications which will be sent out on Friday morning so you can plan your weekend. If you would like to lead a weekend group run, let us know using the contact button below. At Rockland Lake, we meet at Parking Field #6 (colloquially known as the "Fishing Station").  That's where runners from around the county typically gather, so it's

Training for the Buffalo Marathon Weekend doesn’t have to be done alone. "In It For The Long Run," is a free, community-focused long run series designed to bring the Buffalo running community together as we log the miles leading into May. Whether you’re gearing up for your first marathon, chasing a PR, or supporting friends along the way, these runs are about consistency, connection, and showing up week after week—together. Each date offers two distance options to coincide with half and full marathon training, guided and supported by Runner's Roost. All runs are free to participate, open to runners of all abilities, and focused on building smart, sustainable mileage. Buffalo Rehab Group will be on site (Saturday, April 4th) helping runners stay healthy through the training cycle, while Runner’s Roost provides the community hub we all know and love.
