Welcome to the Fanthropy Back Catalog!  This is your one-stop-shop for all the virtual events from Fanthropy Running Club! These are 'virtual' events, so you can complete your distances wherever (indoors or out), however (walk, roll, run, jog, etc.) and whenever (now, tomorrow, next month) you want! It's all up to you. Select the fandom-inspired medals that you love, and we'll have them shipping to you within a week. They're all sent on the "honor system", so you DON'T have to use any special apps to track or report your progress to anyone. Spring Into Steep Rock Hiking ChallengeMarch 20 – June 18, 2026 Join us for the Spring Into Steep Rock Hiking Challenge — a self-paced adventure to hike 30 miles during the spring season across any of our preserves: Hidden Valley, Steep Rock, Macricostas, and West Mountain. Spring is one of the most beautiful times to explore the preserves. Watch for blooming spring ephemerals like trout lily, budding trees, returning birdsong, and longer, brighter days. Let’s welcome the season together — one mile at a time. Hike a little at a time or log longer treks — miles can be completed on any SRA trails between March 20 and June 16. Track your mileage and submit your total by the final day of the challenge. NEW COURSE--This run starts and finishes at the Simsbury Farms Park in Simsbury CT. This public facility is located in the west end of Simsbury in a residential area. The course begins and ends in the parking lot and is all roads through local neighborhoods with minimal traffic. All roads will be open. The many small "rolling hills" have a total elevation of 159ft. It will be well marked with course monitors at key intersections. This is a free event but consider a donation so that we can cover costs of these grass root events for you! LivFree - a childhood cancer nonprofit that supports kids and families in the pediatric cancer community - and PHD Basketball are partnering to present the LivSports 3-on-3 Basketball Jamboree at St. Ann Church on Saturday, March 21st, from 9am - 2pm. This is a charity event where all proceeds and donations will go directly to accomplishing LivFree's mission.  Join us and help us use your passion for Basketball as a platform of hope!

Come join us for the kick off to the annual Hebron Maple Festival with our very own Sap Run 5K.   This out and back race begins at Burnt Hill Park and runs on paved roads, through rolling hills, and past picturesque farmland, highlighting our beautiful rural town.   After the Sap Run 5K has concluded all runners are invited to the Hebron Town Center to enjoy the celebration of the Hebron Maple Festival. This event is perfect for training, as the Enchanted 6 Hour serves as excellent preparation for the upcoming Forgotten 9 Hour on Saturday, May 16, which leads into the Centurion 33 Hour on June 27/28, 2026, where participants can earn a 100-mile buckle. Over the course, you can choose to complete as many miles or hours as you wish on the single and double track, featuring the typical New England trails of roots, rocks, and rolling hills—all reminiscent of the magical experience of  in the enchanted forest. The race begins at 8:30 am, with an irregular loop course measuring 2.3 miles per lap, boasting an elevation gain of 191 feet with its rolling hills. The City of Norwalk will be kicking off its inaugural Bunny Hop 5K(3.1mile) run. We welcome runners of all levels to help kick off this new tradition to support the Norwalk Play and Learn Camps.  All net proceeds of this run will supplement our summer day camp activities, trips, entertainment and scholarships. Here at the Bishop Jean William Pantry and Community Market a program of Park City Initiative Corp., we have been helping families for over 23 years. Currently, we provide over ONE MILLION MEALS annually to over 900 families with an increase of 20% in the past two months! Every year, Park City Initiative (PCI) hosts a Walk-A-Thon fundraiser and friend-raiser. The PCI Walk-A-Thon is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026, with the goal to have over 300 people walk. What is the LivSports 24 Hour Adult Hockey Marathon benefiting LivFree? Here’s how it all works - the event is a continuous game with 60 to 90 skaters playing on two teams in 3 rotating groups based on ability with a running score from opening puck drop to the final horn. Each player raises $1500 dollars for the cause. LivFree is a pediatric cancer non-profit organization that provides children and their families with moments of joy to take a break from struggle and enjoy some family time together. Whether it's tickets to a game, a broadway show, a night out - LivFree is here to help the whole family.  When will this take place and how does it work? The event starts at 5pm on Saturday, March 28th, 2025 and the final horn will sound at 5pm Sunday March 29th. Take the Leap at Walnut Beach! Join the brave, warm-hearted souls who will Leap for Literacy. Leapers from around the area are invited to run, jump or dive into the chilly waters at Walnut Beach to help raise money to support Literacy Volunteers of Southern Connecticut. Registration Fee: $20 for adults and $10 for students, includes a giveaway for each Leaper. Walk-ins are welcome, but we can't guarantee a giveaway. Welcome to the 30th running of the 5K & 10K Bradley Road Race!. Run the 10K or run/walk the 5K on the USATF accredited course through the residential streets of Windsor Locks. This fundraising event is hosted by the Windsor Locks Lions Club to support local community activities and  regional health related organizations. We encourage runners to form teams and offer banners and photos for those that do. Each runner receives a tee shirt and a finish line photo. Children 10 yrs and under receive a personalized certificate. First, second and third awards are presented by age group and gender provided the group is competitive. This will take place at Ethel Peter's Recreational Complex, on a track and will consist of 4 loops. Plenty of parking. Very flat and easy. This is a basic no-frills run, and we will run rain or shine. No refunds. There are no facilities on property, so plan accordingly. All proceeds will go to charities. Sexual assault affects 1 in 6 women in the United States — yet too often, survivors suffer in silence. This April, the Women's Center is taking action. Our 5K Walk, Run & Jog is more than a race — it's a movement. Every step we take together is a statement that we see survivors, we believe them, and we stand with them. Funds raised go directly toward supporting the Women's Center's resources, programming, and advocacy for survivors in our community. Because awareness without action isn't enough. Lace up and run with a reason.

Join us for a new Winter Series Event(yes we know March 29th is past Winter). Jose's Jog is a timed run on a mostly crushed stone path that travels 3.5ish miles around the Scovill Reservoir in Wolcott CT. The date is Sunday March 29, 2026. The course is gently flowing trail loop with easy footing and largely flat with only a few gentle hills starting and finishing from the Woodtick Recreation Area. An aid station will have water located roughly at the 2 mile mark. Snacks will be available at the finish. This is a no charge event. It's a great time of year with cool temperatures and hopefully no snow. Registrations are limited to 50 entrants due to town permits so we expect it to fill rapidly.  Results will be posted on-line the following Monday morning.         More information in the coming weeks.

LivFree, a childhood cancer nonprofit that supports kids and families in the pediatric cancer community, is proud to present the LivSports Volleyball Jamboree at the UCONN Volleyball Center on Sunday, March 29th, from 8 am - 7 pm.
