RACE INFO: Join us Saturday, May 16 at 7 am for the Guernsey County Crossroads Marathon. This is a continuation of our Spring Race that has taken place since 2018, but now it has a new name and a new race, the inaugural Crossroads Marathon. This event is meant to showcase historic downtown Cambridge, Ohio and The Great Guernsey Trail and will consist of a marathon, a half-marathon and a 5k distance. This will be Chip timed race with timing services provided by Muskingum Multisports. Starting line will be on Southgate Parkway next to the trailhead located at 134 Southgate Pkwy Cambridge, Ohio.  Proceeds raised at this event will support the Guernsey County Community Development’s (CDC) Great Guernsey Trail and The Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce. Come Run Like It's Recess at this fun filled, inter-generational family event, benefiting ALL CHUH Schools. Run or walk the 5K course that loops through the heart of beautiful Cleveland Heights.  Stay around after the race for refreshments, entertainment, and the Kid’s Fun Run around the High School track.  Online registration is $30 for adults, $20 for children (14 yrs and younger) and Kids' Fun Run is free. Join us at Silverton's Ficke Park for the Fourth Annual Silverton Color Fun Run & Walk!  What's a color run? Participants are "splashed" with chalk color at color stations along the race course. This family friendly event will be a true dedication of Amy Market Jorgensen by combining her love of running and cooking. This event will be used to raise funds to aid others escape a life of domestic violence, that unfortunately took Amy’s life in 2023.    Check in and the start/finish line will be at the amphitheater/pavilion area at Faurot Park. Parking is available at "the bowl" next to the Bradfield Center. The food truck will accept cards, but everything else is cash only. Same day registration is available until the race starts at 9am. Open to the public - do not need to be a participant to visit the food truck or participate in the raffle. Please join us this year for our 14th annual running of the Race for Case. Race for Case is a community-oriented event benefiting all students of Case CLC. Profits from the event have helped us build our permanent greenhouse on school grounds and fund a set of digital microscopes, a VR system, and school events. Help us continue our tradition of successfully funding projects that provide our students with equipment and opportunities many APS students miss out on. The Race for Case is just one of the Neighborhood races in the Akron Promise City Series, held to support community organizations, promote youth opportunity, explore Akron, and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

May We Grow Old" 5K run/walk to celebrate Older Ohioans Month! All proceeds from this race will be used to serve older adults in Clermont County through services like Transportation, Lifelong Learning, Meals on Wheels, Adult Protective Services, and many more! This day will be a celebration of growing older and gathering in community to support one another. The race will be at Sycamore Park in Batavia, with the 5K portion mostly on trails. There will be a shorter walk (.6 miles) around the park on a paved surface for people of all ages and abilities to participate.

Annual Tie Dye 50K  Day: May 16, 2026 Race Start Time: 7:30 AM COURSE DESCRIPTION “John Bryan is the most scenic state park in western Ohio. The 752-acre park contains a remarkable limestone gorge cut by the Little Miami River which is designated as a state and national scenic river. A portion of the gorge itself is designated as a national natural landmark.” Tie Dye 50K IS CUPLESS! This means there will not be cups pre-set at any aid stations. An ORRRC collapsible, reusable cup is available to be added to your registration for $3 and the cup will be provided at packet pickup.  Please carry it with you as well as your water bottle. There will be absolutely no cups at aid stations (you will need to use your cup if you want to drink Coke or Ginger Ale, or grab some pretzels to go).  COURSE OVERVIEW 3 loop course traversing through beautiful John Bryan State Park–and is the same popular course used the last 4 years. 2026 marks the 51st Annual for the Oakwood 5k, 10k and Family Fun Run.  All those registering by May 1 will receive a technical shirt with their entry.     There is a virtual 5k option for those who can't make the actual race at Oakwood High School on May 16. The FREE family fun run is 1k and starts at 8:30am.  Fun Runners have the option of purchasing a shirt with their registration for $12.  The 5k, 10k and virtual options include a technical shirt with your entry if registered by May 1, 2026. Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Airy Ridge Run is a perennial favorite. This is the largest park in the city and features extensive trails.  Mt. Airy Forest Ridge Run is aptly named, as the runners will get a wilderness experience that mirrors the Sierras at times. The course winds through all of the features Mt. The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Society is excited to announce the 2026 Trails and Tails Virtual 5k run/walk event.  The 5k virtual event will allow alumni to stay connected to fellow alumni and friends around the world by providing an active, inclusive event and a sense of community. As a participant, you will be able to share/post a picture of yourself and/or a picture of your favorite spot to visit. All proceeds will go towards the College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Scholarship Fund. What is a Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk? The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11,2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11,2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! Attendees of the 2026 USPHS Scientific & Training Symposium, friends and family, and residents of Cleveland (May 18-21 in Cleveland, OH) are encouraged to participate in the Surgeon General's 5k on Monday, May 18 at 6:00 am!

The 5K course will be run in Olander Park (3ish loops).  The finish/start line will be located at the Nederhouser Community Hall where a brief post race club meeting will be held. This year we will be back to the usual feeding frenzy meal and refreshments! The run will be time graded with a staggered start. Slower runners will start first followed by faster runners grouped according to previous times. Theoretically, runners will finish at approximately the same time. Each runner will be required to state their best 5K time from the preceding 2 years (approximately May 2024 through May 2026). In the event you haven’t raced a 5K in the last year, figure out a pace from a previous race at any distance and convert using a standard race time conversion chart. The clock will start at 6:30 around 48 minutes and count down. Planning to run in 26 minutes?  Start at 26:00!  Planning to run in 19 minutes?  Start at 19:00! Join us in running The Home for Good 5K benefiting Adopt America Network.  Adopt America Network believes every child deserves to grow up in a family.  We connect children who wait in foster care with permanent families, providing support before, during and after the family is united. Adopt America Network was founded in 1983 by Richard K. Ransom, who also founded Hickory Farms. Mr. Ransom dedicated his life to helping children and since he established AAN, nearly 5,000 children from foster care have found homes and families through the network. AAN provides services to over 300 children and 500 families annually.
