We are so excited to announce the inaugural Harmon Field Half Marathon & Morris Fun Run!  After Harmon Field was devastated by Hurricane Helene in 2024, it is now repaired and back open! We are excited to welcome back this much loved, scenic, out-and-back, 13.1-mile race through the beautiful Hunting Country of Polk County, NC. Bull City Beer Mile

The Glass Jug Beer Lab and Bull City Running Co. are proud to present the 5th annual Bull City Beer Mile on Saturday, April 25, 2026 in Downtown Durham's Central Park.   What is a Beer Mile? A 1-mile drinking race combining running and speed drinking. Typically, the race takes place on a 1/4-mile running track (flat). We will be running around Central Park (not flat!). The race begins with the consumption of a 12-oz beer (RUN DRM lager brewed by The Glass Jug Beer Lab), followed by a 1/4 mile lap around the park. The second lap continues similarly; another 12-oz beer is consumed before commencing the running of the second lap. This process is repeated for the next two laps. Tobacco Road Relay

The Tobacco Road Relay is a tour of North Carolina's Triangle, its beautiful cities, historic and protected greenways, single track trails, roads less traveled and roads often traveled.  It's a day of challenge, adventure and memories for you and your best friends. The Tobacco Road Relay is a one day, 75-mile relay-style running race.  Teams of 2-6 runners navigate the 75-mile course, which begins in Chapel Hill, runs through Durham to the finish in Raleigh.  The course is divided into 12 legs (6 runners = 2 legs/runner), with each leg ranging in distance from 4.2 - 9.6 miles.  Teams are permitted one team vehicle to navigate between exchange zones and to carry their inactive runners, food, water, sports drinks, first aid, ice and other needed supplies. Friends Homes Spring in Your Step 5K & Fun Run

Please join us, here at Friends Homes, for our 4th annual 5K event. Our goal this year is to raise $20,000 for the Resident Financial Assistance Campaign. The campaign provides financial assistance to residents who have had unexpected hardships and outlived their resources. We support all residents once they are part of the community, and the Resident Financial Assistance Campaign provides security of living at Friends Homes.   You can register for the race anytime, including on the day of the event. The 5K entry fee is $30 but increases to $35 on race day. The Fun Run fee is $20 and increases to $25 on race day. T-shirts are included with each entry and are guaranteed for participants who register by April 3rd. After this date, shirts will be available while supplies last. Island Montessori Tinted Turtle Trot

Island Montessori School will hold the 11th Annual Tinted Turtle Trot 5k, 1 Mile Run and Kid’s Dash on Sunday, April 26th at Mike Chappell Park in Carolina Beach Participants can register before April 5th to be guaranteed a shirt. Soggy Bottoms Back Yard Ultra

This will be our third Annual Soggy Bottoms Backyard Ultra, a day to test yourself on a farmland trail loop with scenic views, rolling hills, and South Mountain in the distance.
