4th Annual FDNY Foundation Climb To SUMMIT Brought to you by SL Green Realty Corp.

The FDNY Foundation is proud to partner with SL Green Realty Corp. for the 4th Annual FDNY Foundation Climb to SUMMIT at One Vanderbilt in New York City on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Climbers will race up 1,100 feet in the sky to SUMMIT One Vanderbilt to highlight the importance of physical fitness for the brave FDNY firefighters, EMTs and paramedics who are always ready to respond at a moment’s notice. Funds raised will support training and fitness equipment for FDNY members. In the last few years, firefighters had to run up 21 flights of stairs donning full bunker gear weighing upwards of 60 lbs in 70+ degree weather to rescue families trapped in a fire in a high-rise building as the elevators were inoperable. After such a strenuous climb, they then executed a lifesaving roof rope rescue on the outside of the building to save the occupants. The 4th annual student led "Using Our Voices" Mental Health Run Series is an event grounded in the belief that students should be part of the change process, with genuine inclusivity achieved through active student engagement. It has now grown to include four districts: Patchogue-Medford, North Babylon, Connetquot, and New Hyde Park. The funds support students across Long Island by providing counseling opportunities and giving them the platform to display leadership, collaborate with peers from other districts, and contribute to an important cause.  The event is designed and executed entirely by students, who are involved in every aspect, from planning to race day. This is a perfect beginner race that includes a pool swim with 50 meter lanes.It is early in the season and a great way to get involved in the sport as well as a good warm up race for veterans POOL SWIM: 400 meters in the newly built Freedom PoolBIKE: 6 miles on closed roadsRUN: 2 miles on a beautiful path through the parkStart Time: 8:10am Mini Mighty Man Youth Triathlon POOL SWIM: 100 or 200 Meters. Athletes will start individually, 5 seconds apart. Athlete will be swimming lengths of 50 meters each. Athlete will “snake” their way through two lanes. Each lane will be going in only one direction. Run PB's Spring into Running

Peekskill, NY
Shake off those winter blues on our beautiful, flat 5k course along the majestic Peekskill Riverfront.  The race starts and ends at River Outpost Brewing.  Every participant 21+ will receive a token for a half price beverage and there will be breakfast for sale at the afterparty.    The Children's Fun Run will start shortly after the last 5k runner/walker crosses the finish line.  Spins Hudson, with all its fun arcade games, will be open at 9:00 for families to enjoy while they wait. 5k Swag: Race shirts are available for the first 100 5k registrants.   Packet Pick Up: All packets will be available for pick up race morning from 8:00-9:30. AdironDUCK 5K Trail Run Walk or Ride

Walk, Run, or Ride on Sunday, April 27th, 2025  at the AdironDUCK Trail Run!  Most people walk, so don't let the 5K or "Run" part scare you.  The Trail Run is the same day as the AdironDuck Race, a huge rubber duck race held at the Oswegatchie Educational Center. The Seneca7 will introduce you to the wonders of Seneca Lake: rushing inlets, crashing waterfalls, banks bathed in golden sunlight. All you (and your team) have to do is run around it. Sybil Ludington 50K Race and Relay

The Sybil Ludington 50K running race is back to celebrate 250 YEARS OF REVOLUTIONARY PEOPLE & PLACES brought to you by Putnam County and the Taconic Road Runners. This will be the 42nd running, held annually through 2019. This is a special year for the country and next year is a special for Sybil-the 250th anniversary of her ride. Sadly, race organizer for many years and co-director wtih Tony Galfano, David Farquhar passed away on December 23rd, 2025. He was looking forward to the return of the race. You can read his obituary here. You can see the course HERE. It will be a Sunday and will start at 7AM.  We are going back to the original course, which covers 31 of Sybil's 40 miles.
