Come join us for a morning of family fun and exercise on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Grayson Co Middle School  ! We have a fast, flat, open road course for the Healthy Mommy 5K and 10K that begins at 8:15 am, and Water stops will be provided every mile. The Kiddie Dash (Open to kids ages 0-10 years) begins at 8:00 am and will be approximately 200 yards.  These runs honor Kristy Elmore Langdon, who lost her battle with postpartum depression and psychosis in 2014. Our goal is to raise awareness of maternal mental health issues and remember those whose lives have been impacted by mental illness. All proceeds go to the Maternal Mental Health Foundation Inc.  Registration Registration for the 5K and 10K is $40 (processing is included) and includes a race day t-shirt. Join us for the only race in Kentucky that runs through 4 Central Kentucky horse farms. Our 5th annual race celebrates our beautiful and historic community where champion thoroughbred horses are bred, trained, and live.  Our Half Marathon course runs through Ashbrook Farm, Newtownanner Farm, Buck Pond Farm, and WinStar Farm.  The 10K runs through Ashbrook Farm and WinStar Farm.  A Pisgah Farms & Furlongs 5K with a registration cap of 75 runners and walkers.  This race will start at 7:05am along with the 10K. Come join the fun!  This is the 4th Run for Foxy Roxie 5k.  It's a memorial race for Roxanne Pickrell ("Foxy Roxie"), the late daughter of Jason and Cathy Pickrell.  Roxie passed in 2019, at age 13, after a brief battle with brain cancer.  This race is a way to honor her memory and give back to our community through her non-profit, the Roxanne Pickrell Memorial Fund.  Our mission is to #supportacause.  We fundraise to donate to our LOCAL non-profits!  It's a fun event with cool t-shirts and awards!  This year we will be in a new location.  It will start and finish in Downtown Owensboro at Smother's Park Overlook Stage.  A part of the race will take you down Frederica Street.  We have also added a 1 mile race and a Kid's Dash!  Proceeds from this year's 5k will support the Owensboro Fire Department, Hose Handlers in the upcoming Puzzle Pieces Lip Sync Battle.

Inspired by Breonna Taylor, the movement that followed her tragic loss, and the many other injustices we’ve seen and experienced, this race is about uniting our city to move forward.  Proceeds from the event will be donated to nonprofits doing justice work in the city and world. This year's events are listed below. 26 Lap Walk/Jog/Run/Roll Relay (9:30)Each of the 26 laps is dedicated to one year of Breonna Taylor's life. We want everyone in our community to get a team together to show up for justice. This event is super accessible. You can run, jog, walk, roll.... And your team can divide up the laps however you want. Go at any pace you want and take as many breaks as you need!! Many races claim to be hilly...this race/run is nothing but a hill. Morris Hill is a legendary landmark in the Monticello community. Come conquer a 1.2 mile uphill challenge in beautiful Monticello, KY! This race will be a vertical mile with over 650 ft. of elevation gain. Challenge yourself to run, walk, or crawl over the legendary hill here in Monticello. Are you up for the challenge of melting down on Morris Hill? The date has been set for the 2026 the Heart & Sole Triathlon! Established in 2004, this race is open to ages 15 & up is a sprint triathlon consisting of a 400 yard swim in our indoor heated pool, a 15 mile bike ride through beautiful Woodford County and historic downtown Versailles, and a 3.1 mile run on a beautiful and challenging cross-country course.  Our race is great for beginners & experienced triathletes, and many use it as the kick-off to the triathlon season. New this year, we have a Family Relay Division and a Sponsorship Business Division!

This is a family and beginner friendly six mile run through the trails of Waverly Park.  We'll start at the playground and make our way winding through Waverly Park.  The Mothman is a cryptid who follows is said to be a red-eyed humanoid winged creature seen by some as a harbinger of doom. Mothman sighting accounts come from across West Virginia and Kentucky, to the greater Appalachian region. From the 1960's to present day sightings continue to be reported.  Awards Each race will have awards for Overall Male / Female / Non-Binary Winners. My Story:      Madison and James Wells, tragically lost their infant daughter, Ruth, in June 2024 at just seven months old due to congenital cytomegalovirus (CMV), a common but often overlooked virus that can have devastating effects on newborns. Despite a lengthy and courageous battle, her sweet girl passed away, leaving behind a legacy of strength, love, and resilience.    In her daughter’s memory, Madison ran the 2025 New York City Marathon as a charity runner for the National CMV Foundation. As part of this incredible journey, we are again organizing a Memorial 5K Run/Walk on June 20, 2026, in Owensboro, Kentucky in partnership with Strides 4 CMV during CMV awareness month, to raise awareness and critical funds to support CMV research, education, and prevention efforts.   Madison completed her marathon last year in 5:29:26 with a average pace of 12:34. Come join us for a morning of fun and racing in Mount Sterling, KY! Watch and cheer on your children as they SWIM, BIKE, and RUN all the way to the finish line. Participants will complete their swim at the MSMC Parks and Rec outdoor pool. They will then follow the designated route to the closed parking lot. Here they will find the transition area where their bikes will be staged for the bike leg. They will then complete their designated bike course again on a closed loop bike course. They will ride back to transition where they will park their bike and bike gear and take off on the run. The run course is also on a closed course. WOOHOO!!!  We are so excited to be doing our run in the Parklands again this year! Participants run five (timed with awards) or three (fun run but timed) miles through the beautiful trails of Turkey Run Park (Parklands of Floyd Fork) to benefit Second Chances Wildlife Center. Second Chances is a nonprofit that provides Environmental Education programs to the Louisville area community. They also offer wildlife rehabilitation and safe release of injured and orphaned animals. Race proceeds and additional donations go back to saving our local wildlife.
