Welcome to Southern Grit Endurance Challenge Located in south-central Kentucky, Southern Grit takes place in a landscape where rugged hills meet gently rolling terrain — a natural transition between the Appalachian Plateau and the Bluegrass region. Nestled in the distinctive “Knobs” region, steep wooded hills rise dramatically from fertile farmland, creating a striking and scenic backdrop. The race unfolds in the small community of Butchertown, in northern Casey County. Race Overview Southern Grit offers 3-, 6-, 12-, and 24-hour races, along with 3-, 6-, 12-, 24 hour ruck events, promising a true test for athletes of all backgrounds and abilities.
