Wolverines Walk for Reproductive Justice 5k is a fun run/walk hosted by the student organization Lunar Doula Support Network at the University of Michigan. This event is in collaboration with a local organization, Birth Detroit, that works towards reproductive justice. Birth Detroit is a community birth center that works towards safe, equitable, and culturally relevant healthcare for all. Our goal is to bring together a community that supports and works towards reproductive health, rights, and justice with various reproductive health student organizations on campus and community members. This event is for open to all who would like to support reproductive justice! Participants can partake in fun activities after completing the 5k. Light refreshments will be provided for participants! Stride 55K RunWe want to share the Dirty 30 Gravel love and bring runners and cyclists together on race day! Gravel adventures are fantastic on foot! The Stride 5 Run (5K) will be an out and back course, starting and finishing by the main start/finish line in downtown Saranac. The Stride 5 Run starts at 8:16 AM. Join us for the 13th annual Big House 5K! This event is an exciting run/walk that courses through the University of Michigan campus before participants finish the race on the 50-yard line of Michigan Stadium.  We proudly host this event to raise awareness for six local, non-profit organizations. All race proceeds are split among the six beneficiaries. We partner with colleagues on campus and look to our Athletic Department service pillars to select beneficiaries whose work addresses immediate needs in our community. The 2026 Big House 5K will take place on April 12, 2026 at 8am. In 2025, we sold out of 12,500 race entries and raised $215,000 for our six local, non-profit beneficiaries. We are excited to partner with six local beneficiaries this year to provide a platform on which they can raise awareness and funds in support of their cause. Kids Run Lansing is a FREE after school running program designed to teach kids the foundations of running with Good Form and build a life long love of the sport and fitness. The Playmakers Fitness Foundation, in collaboration with the Lansing School District, will run this program at participating Lansing School District elementary schools. The program will run for one hour after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays - a snack will be provided.  Parent Pick up is required. Kids will be coached in running and proper form through Playmakers' Kid's Running Club curriculum by Certified Good Form Running Coaches. By the end of the program, all kids will complete a 2 mile fun run finale!

What is the LivSports 24 Hour Adult Hockey Marathon benefiting LivFree? Here’s how it all works - the event is a continuous game with 60 to 90 skaters playing on two teams in 3 rotating groups based on ability with a running score from opening puck drop to the final horn. Each player raises $1000 dollars for the cause. THE CPT DREW RUSSELL Warrior RUN IS GOING TO HAVE A "LIVE" AND VIRTUAL RACE FOR 2026 About This Event: This 5K Run/Walk is in memory of Captain Drew Russell, a WMU ROTC alumni. He was Killed-In-Action in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan on October 8, 2011. As an active member within his community of Scotts, Michigan and a 2004 graduate of Vicksburg High School, he is remembered as a stand-up man who was always looking out for his friends and family with a great sense of humor. After earning his commission as a Second Lieutenant in Armor through Western Michigan University’s ROTC Program, he was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado to carry out his time as an active duty Armor officer. Captain Russell was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart for his actions in battle. He was survived by his mother, Patti, his father, Jim and his brother, James. In Captain Russell’s remembrance, an endowed scholarship was established for Western Michigan University students

Windmill Island Gardens' Run of the Mill is back for 2026, and we can't wait to see you at our annual 5K fun-run! This year's Run of the Mill event will take place on Saturday, April 18, where proceeds will continue to support future programs and the ongoing maintenance that helps keep Windmill Island Gardens so beautiful! The Run of the Mill 5k course will take you around the island itself and then head out to Window on the Waterfront before looping back to the island towards the finish line. Registration is $30 per participant and includes a Run of the Mill 5k finisher medal, and a race t-shirt if registered before Friday, March 27, 2026. Prove It 5K & 10K gives you exclusive access to the GM Milford Proving Ground, one of the most iconic and secretive automotive testing facilities in the world. “The Rock” is at the center of Albion College’s campus located on the Quad.  The Run the Rock event passes right by and even though you’ll be going by so fast to see how many layers of paint make the rock what it is today, you’ll be able to feel the history that each layer brings to what makes Albion College special. Your Registration Does More Than Secure Your Spot…When you register for a Run Albion event you are giving back to the Albion community. With the generous support of our sponsors, we are able to cover the cost of the entire series. Each registration fee is then used as a donation to a local nonprofit organization that provides course volunteers. In 2024 Run Albion donated $4500 across four different nonprofits.
