STEM 5K at Biddeford Middle School

Biddeford, ME
BMS STEM students are excited to host our Annual SPOOKY 5K this year. The idea for this race was born as a student-led project. Students work alongside their teachers in planning and hosting this event. The purpose is to promote positive community and to raise money for special STEM learning activities at BMS. The money goes toward field trips, maintaining STEM equipment, and other endeavors to enrich our students' experiences at school. In addition, students learn many other valuable skills as they work on various planning aspects of the project such as fundraising, marketing/design, course planning, and race officiating. This event takes place near Halloween, so costumes are encouraged! The course also contains Halloween themed decorations. There is an additional event that takes place during the 5K, called the Candy K. This fun event is geared toward children 10 and younger and includes age appropriate games and a 1 kilometer fun-run, during which participants collect candy and traverse through a decorated course. Bailey's Annual Heart & Sole 5K- Run/Walk

Bel Air, MD
💚 5th Annual Bailey’s Heart & Sole 5K-Run/Walk On Sunday, October 25, 2026, join Bailey’s Heart & Soul Foundation for the 5th Annual Bailey’s Heart & Sole 5K- Run/Walk in memory of Bailey Bullock. Five Years. One Legacy. One Starting Line. What began as a community coming together to remember Bailey has grown into a movement of awareness, preparedness, and action. This year, we want YOU at the starting line for our biggest and most impactful 5K yet! Whether you run, walk, bring the family, or build a team—there's a place for you. Race morning will kick off with an energetic warm-up followed by our timed 5K Run/Walk. After crossing the finish line, enjoy refreshments, cheer on fellow participants, and stay for our annual group photo and awards. 💚 THIS IS FOR BAILEY. Bailey Bullock was just 16 years old when he passed away suddenly on May 12, 2021, after experiencing Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Bailey was a son, brother, friend, teammate, classmate, student, and athlete at The John Carroll School. He loved football, basketball, track, technology, volunteering, his friends, and most of all, his family. His life ended at 16. His impact did not. In the five years since Bailey's passing, his story has helped inspire a movement. Young hearts have been screened, hundreds have received CPR/AED training, thousands have been reached through education and awareness, and advocacy helped turn Bailey's legacy into action through the Bailey Bullock Act, strengthening cardiac emergency preparedness in Maryland schools. AND WE'RE NOT FINISHED. Proceeds from this 5K help support youth heart screenings, CPR/AED education and training, Sudden Cardiac Arrest awareness, and cardiac emergency preparedness. 💚 THIS YEAR, DON'T COME ALONE. BUILD YOUR TEAM FOR BAILEY! Bring your family, coworkers, church, school, teammates, or running crew. Pick a team name. Rally your people. And let's see who can build the BIGGEST TEAM FOR BAILEY! You don't have to be a runner. Walk it. Run it. Bring the family. Just come. REGISTER. BUILD YOUR TEAM. MEET US AT THE STARTING LINE. Every Second Counts.™ 🏃🏽‍♀️ EVENT DAY SCHEDULE — OCTOBER 25, 2026 6:45–7:45 AM — Bib & T-Shirt Pickup 7:45 AM — Dynamic Warm-Up 8:00 AM — Welcome & Opening Remarks 8:05 AM — 5K Run/Walk Begins 9:00 AM — Group Picture 9:10 AM — Awards & Recognition 9:20 AM — Closing Remarks 10:00 AM — Event Wrap-Up With gratitude, Patrice (Bailey's mom).

Canton Fall Classic

Canton, MA
The 37th Canton Fall Classic After 36 years our beloved classic 10k course needed to be retired. There have been many changes in the town over the race history that make the course too challenging for the police to feel comfortable with everyone’s safety. We do believe that Canton is a beautiful town and our alternative course will still prove both scenic and challenging. We feel we also do our best to make runners feel welcome and have a great record of providing accurate courses, times, great awards, high quality t-shirts and a vibrant post race scene. We are fortunate to have a large pool of repeat runners. We are hoping that will continue in future years. Featuring new 5k and 10k courses Temple Loop - 5K & 10K Start/Finish: 1301 Washington St, Canton, MA The 5K and 10K start simultaneously in front of the temple and take a right on Pleasant St. There are some elevation variations in the first couple of miles of the course, but none too challenging. The course takes a right on Sherman St. which is slightly downhill. The next right onto Washington St. features a significant hill sure to tax athletes as they approach either the finish or the start of the second loop. The 10K course passes the temple and follows the same route. The Washington St. hill will certainly feel more difficult the second time around. Starting Times 1 mile Senior Walk AND Fun Run will start simultaneously at 8:00 am 5K and 10K road races will start simultaneously at 8:30 am REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 8:15 am Awards Over $2,400 in Cash and Merchandise Prizes. $50 Cash prize for new men's or women's 5K overall course record. $100 Cash Prize for new men's or women's 10K overall course record.
