The Sandusky County Park District will be having a 5K and Youth Race on the PK 5K Trail named after local runner Pam Graver- Koenig located on the grounds of Creek Bend Farm- Wilson Nature Center 720 South Main Street, Lindsey, Ohio 43442.   All proceeds will be donated to the Sandusky County Park District. The 2nd Annual P.A.I.L. Remembrance & Awareness Walk will be hosted by Alive In My Heart, Miles’ Mission, Columbus Public Health, and Nationwide Children's Hospital at Genoa Park in Columbus on Saturday morning, October 11, 2025. The event will bring awareness and support around the experience of Pregnancy and Infant Loss (“P.A.I.L.”) and honor and remember all of the babies we miss, babies who are loved beyond measure. Building on a tradition started in 2023 with a P.A.I.L. 5k hosted by Timmy’s Kids, the walk will bring together the Columbus and surrounding communities to support parents grieving the loss of a baby. Three Rivers Conference XC Chmapionship Taking Place at Covington in 2026.

We are extremely excited to bring back a Black Swamp Runner favorite: The Night of the Dead Run! This race is a 5k mud run, featuring 20+ obstacles for you to conquer! Many of the obstacles include a "challenge" side, as well as an "Xtreme" side, making our course fun for anyone! Even if you believe you fall under the "couch potato" status, our course will help you prove to yourself that you have what it takes to tackle obstacles you thought you couldn't! In addition to the run will be the fact that this event takes place two weeks prior to Halloween. Prepare to witness some spooky scenes, as well as a few potential surprises throughout the course! This run will be held AT NIGHT, so we will also plan to have a lit up course that brings a unique feel to the Black Swamp Run. Whispering Hills Jellystone Park, located in Ohio’s Amish Country, offers a beautiful and varied terrain including rolling hills with a mix of challenging inclines and relaxing downhill stretches. Wind through the 220 acres, taking in the picturesque fall foliage and views of the countryside. Proceeds from this event will benefit the American Heritage Girls Troop OH-3125 chartered by Ripley Church of Christ in Big Prairie, Ohio. Our mission is to build women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. Funds will be used for supplies, uniforms, activities, and trips. We are a faith-based character-building program for girls in the Shreve and western Holmes County area.

The SIDS Awareness 5k Run/Walk is an easy 5K path that will provide vital education about SIDS awareness and prevention. This race is in remembrance of Landen Philpot, who passed away from SIDS at 3 months old. All profits from the race support the Landen Philpot Nursing Scholarship. The Canal Tavern 5k Run & Walk is a chip-timed race along the scenic Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail between Fort Laurens, Bolivar and the Canal Lands Park trailhead in Zoar. After the race, there will be an Octoberfest-style party on the patio of the Canal Tavern of Zoar. Proceeds from this race will benefit the development and maintenance of the Towpath Trail at Canal Lands Park in Tuscarawas County. Racer registrations made by September 18, 2026 will receive a guaranteed free t-shirt for the race.  If registered after this date, t-shirts will be handed out the day of the race on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. Day of race sign-in and registration will be held near the Canal Lands Park trailhead and the Canal Tavern of Zoar. Dirt Days Trail Series - Shawnee Lookout "West-Side-Best-Side" Trail Run Sunday, October 18, 2026 9:00 am Shawnee Lookout Hamilton County Park   DATE IS TENTATIVE PENDING PARK APPROVAL   Shawnee Lookout is located at the Southwest corner of Hamilton County and is perched above the confluence of the Great Miami and Ohio Rivers. It is well known for its historical Spring house School and Log Cabin and Native American archaeological earthworks. The park's nature trails, including the 1.3-mile Blue Jacket, 2.0-mile Little Turtle and the 1.4-mile Miami Fort trail, offer spectacular views of the Ohio River and Great Miami River valleys. The park also features picnic areas, a playground and boat access to the Great Miami River. Begins and ends at the Waterhole Meadow Shelter. The Course combines the two lollipop loops of the Blue Jacket and Little Turtle nature trails and includes breathtaking views of the river valley below.  This is the final event of the Dirt Days Trail Series

The 39th Annual Circleville Classic 5K Run/Walk has an In-Person Race and a number of Virtual Events!
